Villa holiday rentals in Caleta de Velez

This was our 2nd visit as we loved the villa the first time. Andrew & Karolina are so helpful and always available. Everything was spotless and we felt right at home. Helena who does check in is not only flexible, we asked her to do a little shop for us as we were arriving late. You couldn’t ask for a nicer villa and more fantastic hosts. We will definitely go again.

Vi hade en fantastisk vecka tillsammans med familjen i Gittes hus. Huset ligger i en underbar och rofylld omgivning med vacker utsikt över både berg och hav. Trädgården är välskött och frodig, med många fruktträd och gott om plats för både avkoppling och aktiviteter. Vi uppskattade verkligen möjligheten att spela boule, bordtennis eller bara sitta på en bänk och njuta av utsikten. Huset var mycket bekvämt och fullt utrustat med allt vi behövde. Köket hade alla redskap och maskiner man kan önska sig för att laga mat tillsammans. Vardagsrummet bjöd in till gemenskap med ett urval av familjespel för både barn och vuxna. Den fina poolen användes flitigt varje dag, och kvällarna avslutades ofta med grillning på terrassen – en stor och trivsam plats där hela familjen kunde samlas för middagar och samtal i solnedgången. Vi kan varmt rekommendera Gittes hus till andra familjer som söker en avkopplande och trivsam semester i vackra omgivningar.

Een fantastisch casa met een verpletterend uitzicht! Vanaf de grote weg is het slechts een paar minuten rijden naar de top van de heuvel. Onmiskenbaar ben je dan gearriveerd op de mooiste plek van de wijdse omgeving. Het huis is smaakvol ingericht, smetteloos schoon, een geweldige keuken van alle gemakken voorzien, een zeer ruime bad- en slaapkamer. De tuin is bloemrijk rondom het huis, met fijne terrassen èn overal het sensationele uitzicht. Ook het zwembad en omgeving zijn zeer comfortabel. De communicatie met Mariette verliep vlekkeloos, de uitgebreide handleiding bevatte alles wat je wilt weten en nodig hebt. Kortom: je voelt je er op de top van de wereld!

Wir hatten einen super schönen Aufenthalt, das Haus war wie beschrieben, alles war sauber und schön. Der Pool war natürlich das absolute Highlight mit der tollen Aussicht ! Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt, der Check in verlief ebenfalls problemlos. Bei Fragen konnte man immer fragen. Danke für die schöne Zeit !

The Villa was so lovely! Photos don’t do it justice. We spent a week with 6 of us staying and we had so much room. The pool was so nice and the view was fabulous. The area was so serene and the beautiful town of Mijas Pueblo was only an 8 minute drive. There were so many shops and restaurants in town and we highly recommend Venta los Condes (ask for a table on the upstairs terrace for a great view!). Eva and her team were so warm & welcoming and Eva was so easy to communicate with before and during our stay. I would not hesitate to recommend this Villa!!

After arriving in Malaga we found our original villa had been double booked (not a Rem property or via Airbnb) and 10 of us left without anywhere to stay! Got straight on Airbnb and REM’s listing popped up, messaged to ask about availability and someone replied immediately. Within an hour we had booked, been given all the relevant details and booked a taxi to take us to the villa. On arrival we were blown away by the beautiful views and the fantastic villa. We all agreed that actually this villa made our holiday. It’s perfect surroundings meant we spent a little more time at the villa than we’d planned because it was just so beautiful. Thank you REM’s for saving a special birthday and for the constant communication to check everything was ok. I’ve now saved all the details and will definitely be booking again.

Un séjour inoubliable sur la Costa del Sol Notre groupe de sept retraités a eu le plaisir de séjourner pendant un mois, de la mi-février à la mi-mars 2025, à Benalmádena, profitant ainsi de la beauté et de l’ambiance unique de la Costa del Sol. Nous avons logé dans une villa exceptionnelle, dont les photos sur Airbnb reflètent parfaitement la réalité. Nichée à flanc de montagne, elle offre des vues imprenables sur la côte depuis ses nombreuses pièces et balcons. Un mot tout particulier pour notre hôte, Gisela, dont la disponibilité et l’efficacité ont grandement contribué à la réussite de notre séjour. Son accueil chaleureux et son souci du détail méritent sans aucun doute cinq étoiles bien méritées. Malgré une météo parfois capricieuse en cette période de l’année, ce voyage restera une expérience mémorable pour notre groupe.

Met een groep van 11 vrienden hebben we een week verbleven in de villa van William. De villa was zeer geschikt voor dit doel, veel separate bedden, voldoende badkamers en veel verschillende plekken waar je (veelal lekker buiten) in groepen kon zitten. Rustige omgeving met voldoende faciliteiten (zoals restaurants en supermarkten) die allen met circa 10-15 minuten rijden bereikt kunnen worden. Goede uitvalsbasis ook voor bezoeken aan Malaga, Marbella, Granada, Camino del Rey, Ronda etc. De villa ligt in een woonwijk hetgeen betekent dat geluid (buiten) 's avonds na 23 uur tot een minimum beperkt dient te blijven. Willliam is een vriendelijke en flexibele host die altijd snel reageert op vragen en klaar staat met suggesties voor b.v. restaurants in de buurt. Fijn te zien dat levens- en schoonmaakmiddelen van vorige huurders die nog gebruikt kunnen worden niet weggegooid waren! Prima wifi ook.

The house in Sayalonga is absolutely a beautiful place to stay! The place looks exactly like the picture, if not better. The house is big, has everything that you need as a group and a great location with a view in the mountains, perfect to relax with family or a group of friends and enjoy the Spanish sun. Communication with the hosts is very easy, they respond very quick and are there to help or give tips. Absolutely recommend!

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in der Villa! Augusto war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Die Villa war einfach hervorragend – exakt wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Alles war sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Der Service war ebenfalls top: Bei Rückfragen oder wenn wir z. B. frische Handtücher benötigten, war immer jemand erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We loved this place. In a beautiful location and ideal for what we needed. Carlos was great, always a message away if we needed anything. Will definitely stay here again.

A truly stunning find! George & friend Javier were wonderful hosts. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with truly amazing warmth and hospitality. The villa is immaculate and a unique experience. Fitted out with a very high level of modern luxury: salt water pool, outdoor dining, balcony , sunbathing areas, cutting edge kitchen - all tastefully designed & hand-picked furniture creating many wonderful spaces to relax and entertain. We comfortably slept 6 people with room for two more. The location is only a ten minute walk to main Torremolinos which now has many fantastic beaches, restaurants & nightlife to explore. I cannot recommend this property highly enough - our best experience on Airbnb. All the best. Steven & Fiona

Fran is an amazing host, very responsive and helpful. The house was beautiful - home from home. Was described as not suitable for anyone with a disability but just to point out it was located up a very steep hill and to get to the house there are multiple steps ! The house is close to a school so can be a bit noisy during school time when they are playing out and the school bell! Very Spanish area which we loved, Multiple restaurants, a supermarket, great coffee shop/ bakery - if u walk down the mountain to the sea front and turn left you will come across some gorgeous cove type beaches and fabulous restaurants - great seafood places and very reasonable prices. We only discovered this half way through the week and so glad we did ! We went into Malaga centre a few times. Walked it along the coast and got taxi’s for around 8 euros. We were 6 women, clean rooms missing mirrors, comfy beds, lovely pool, ceiling fans - may be hot in summer. We had a great time - will return to the area x

Wonderful in every way. Great patio and outdoor space. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen well-equipped. We made great use of the swimming pool and game room. Excellent customer service from the hosts. Immediate and helpful when there was a minor issue. Overall a great place. Would be happy to stay there again.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. Tout était réuni pour passer de belles vacances reposantes après notre périple Andalou. Nous avons passé la plupart de nos journées dans la piscine avec cette vue à couper le souffle ! Mette est une hôte extrêmement réactive et attentive aux bien être de ses convives ! Eine großartige Villa mit viel Platz und einer menge an Möglichkeiten, die Aussicht zu genießen. Als wir eingecheckt haben, fanden wir alles in einen Top Zustand vor. Egal ob Pool, Außenbereich, Toilette oder die Küche, nichts wies irgendwelche Mängel auf. Die Villa selber liegt etwas von Torrox entfernt, wobei der Weg (wie auch in der Beschreibung angedeutet) relativ herrausfordernd für unerfahrene Fahrer sein kann, jedoch wird man jeden morgen dafür mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick auf Frigiliana und Nerja belohnt. Das Haus bietet sich dabei hervorragend für Personen an, welche einen Mix aus Abenteuer und Entspannung suchen für ihren Urlaub. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie Tankstellen lassen sich außerdem perfekt mit kleineren Ausflügen verbinden, da man mehr oder weniger direkt dran vorbei kommt. Große Empfehlung meinerseits 👍

Alfredo und Lydia haben uns sehr gut empfangen. Die Kommunikation war sehr einfach. Wir werden sehr gerne wieder in dieser Unterkunft unsere Ferien verbringen.

Wir waren zu 6 in der Unterkunft, vier Erwachsene und zwei Kleinkinder (2 Jahre alt) und sind alle vollkommen zufrieden mit der Unterkunft! Das Haus war super sauber, die Lage zwar schwer zu erreichen, jedoch wunderschön, privat und mit einer tollen Aussicht auf die Berge. Der beheizte Pool war super und wurde viel genutzt und auch bespielt, das Verbot von Sonnencreme im Pool fanden wir etwas schwierig, da vorallem kleine Kinder nicht ungeschützt in der Sonne spielen sollten. Die Kommunikation hat super funktioniert, die Hosts waren immer erreichbar und haben alle Fragen beantwortet. Wir sind vollkommen zufrieden und würden gerne wieder kommen!

Wir waren das 2. Mal in dieser traumhaften Unterkunft und wieder zu 100% zufrieden. Garrett und Susan haben mit der Ausstattung vor Ort nochmal einen drauf gelegt, sodass es einem an nichts fehlte. Die Zwei sind ganz tolle Gastgeber und gehen auf jedes Anliegen umgehend ein. Wir haben leider etwas vor Ort vergessen, auch hier bemühen sie sich direkt, dass alles zu uns zurück kommt. Das Haus hat den schönsten Ausblick, von dem man nur träumen kann und man hat in der Unterkunft einfach seine Ruhe. Der Weg dorthin ist etwas abenteuerlich, hier sollte man etwas erfahrener sein und das passende Auto mieten. Für uns war das aber kein Problem, wir haben es dafür umso mehr genossen unsere Ruhe zu haben. Wir werden auch ein drittes Mal wieder kommen, es war alles rundum perfekt!

The villa was truly beautiful, the pictures dont do the view justice. Everything was well stocked and Helena left useful instructions. It is best to hire a car, as the hill is very steep. The pool is good, not massive but good. I would say for anyone traveling with younger children (Toddlers etc) there are a few things to be aware of, the stairs is beautiful but the top is a bit scary if you have a climber as it's fairly easy to climb. When outside there isn't a way to separate the pool area a gate for this area would be awesome. We had issues with the water going off while we were there (the whole area not a fault of the house), Helena was extremely helpful through this time, she was a very responsive host.

I have just completed my first ever solo holiday .. I chose to stay at Bernardos as it was away from the town and very private x I couldn't have asked for anywhere more perfect x I had a fab time and being alone felt safe at the villa x the views are stunning and town is only a 10 minute drive x
