We booked for one night and found the place matches the description and the photos. Communication with Hine went well and he is a friendly and welcoming host. The place looked great to explore further for hiking swimming and kayaking, though unfortunately we did not have much time for that as we had just planned a quick stopover.

A peaceful and well-designed retreat in the heart of the Klein Karoo. The tented camp is modern, clean, and comfortable, with sweeping views and a strong sense of space and stillness. 🌄⛺ We loved the self-drive safaris, enjoying quiet and unrushed explorations across a vast reserve. Along our journey, we spotted various wildlife, including Kudu, Giraffe, Gemsbok, and Black Wildebeest, as well as an abundance of birdlife. 🚙🦓🦒 The setting is open and natural, ideal for unwinding and reconnecting with the outdoors. It’s pet-friendly — our dogs enjoyed every moment 🐾 — though the camp isn’t enclosed, so do plan ahead. The hosts were welcoming and respectful of privacy, with everything thoughtfully prepared. A great choice for families or small groups seeking a calm, nature-focused escape with just the right balance of comfort and wilderness.

We had a comfortable overnight stay at the cottage. It is private with a lovely view of a dam with plenty space to stretch your legs after a day in the car. The stoep has a small gate which is perfect for containing toddlers.

Amazing stay at Boesmanskop with Tinie. The space is incredible, very stylish and thoughtfully done. The setting under the mountains and surrounded by the Klein Karoo is something else. Tinie is a wonderful host and we had a fantastic dinner and breakfast which he provided, as well as interesting chats after dinner. Highly recommend staying here and having the food too. Thanks Tinie!

What a great place 🤩 This was our second stay ♥️ The Aardvark Bioreserve is a real gem for nature lovers and adventure seekers! The site offers a breathtaking combination of untouched nature and sustainable tourism. The view from the Berghuisie accommodation over the dam makes every moment unforgettable. The accommodation is very clean and stylishly furnished. The hot tub and pool are so beautiful. The Bioreserve's commitment to protecting the local flora and fauna is particularly impressive. You can tell that they work with a lot of passion and a sense of responsibility. The staff are extremely friendly and competent. If you are looking for an authentic experience surrounded by nature, this is definitely the right place for you. A perfect place to get away from it all and connect with nature!
