Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Calvados

We loved this peaceful haven, the pool and the jacuzzi are a real plus despite the proximity to the sea, we will come back to one of the other cottages in the estate as a family, that's for sure!

The apartment is very comfortable and very well located close to the sea. The residence is very quiet. You can park easily in the street. Nathalie is very welcoming.

Clean and welcoming space. We were 4 friends present for the Deauville Marathon. Small alert plus for the following marathoners: the race passes in front of the residence, impossible to go out to get to the departure by car. So plan to leave early or plan a 4km warm-up☺️. Nothing to say about the quality of the property. I would recommend it without hesitating

The listing is as described. Modern building, quality services, secure parking space, fitness room. It is very well located (a few minutes' walk from the city center), restaurant nearby, shops. The host is very nice and responsive; excellent communication. Check-in was easy and the instructions were very clear.

Wonderful place to stay in Caen, beautiful and spacious apartment. Very peaceful due to double glazing. Fantastic location, in walking distance to dozens of restaurants and shops, waterfront bars and Caen Castle. Would definitely stay here again.

Thanks to Arthur for his availability and the cleanliness of his apartment. The residence is quiet. The apartment is located in front of the start of the Marathon des Courants de Liberté, which is ideal.

This accommodation is very well located in a beautiful quiet and secure residence. It is conveniently placed to visit the landing beaches. The cleanliness was spotless and the parking space is a real advantage. I would definitely recommend this listing for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The accommodation is very well located (ground floor) and you have everything you need inside with a small + its small open terrace. Nothing to say... Otherwise Thérèse and Daniel are very responsive for any additional information.

Jean-Romain, was usually available, and responds quickly. He was very friendly and helpful.There are new appliances, toaster, microwave, kettle, cartridge coffee maker. Exceptionally clean. The linens provided were fresh & sealed. Mattress for a second person is stored under the other. It is easy to pull out and has spring-loaded legs that allow you to elevate it. Wi-fi was fast.. The entry to the building and underground parking is very secure, and Jean-Romain provided very clear written instructions. If you are from the US or Canada, you may find the access and parking a little tighter than what you may be used to. We were driving a Renault Captur SUV but if you have something bigger, you will have to park carefully. The location is excellent for access to the D-Day beaches, especially Juno, Gold and Sword and down to the city centre, and Caen Castle. The city tramway and buses are close. There are small supermarkets like Carrefour, a bakery, a patisserie, and a pharmacy nearby.

Great place. Very clean. In a good location with a convenience store very close by. Lots of restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. Madalen was very friendly and helpful. Overall, very good value for money.

Bertrand is a perfect host. Spoke very good English and was knowledgable about the surrounding area. Walking with the goats and a supply of fresh eggs is an addded bonus.

Brigitte's home is lovely. We are a family of 10, 6 adults and 4 teenagers celebrating a special birthday and anniversary. The house was perfect for us. The location was peaceful with open views of fields from the garden. The pool was amazing, we all enjoyed fun times in there. The Sauna was very much appreciated after the activities in the pool. We also enjoyed the Football and Table Tennis and the bikes. We biked to Merville where there are a few shops including a bakery. We also enjoyed a bike ride to Pegagus Bridge and The Battery at Merville. The house is perfectly located for D Day beaches and other historical sites. The kitchen was very well equipped and loved cooking on the BBQ. It was lovely meeting Verione who was waiting to greet us at the house. We all had a fantastic holiday. Thank you. Anne

One of our best Airbnb stays, the photos are below the quality of the place. It is an exceptional accommodation, spacious, very well equipped and beautifully decorated. Many activities are possible within the Airbnb (foosball, sauna, gym, library, jacuzzi, molki, darts, etc.). The host is very responsive and welcoming. A real favorite, we recommend it!

Great stay! House was just as described and in the perfect location it was very secure with gated access. Nelly is a fantastic host, very quick to respond to messages and greeted us on arrival to show us around. Nice touch to include some DVDs, we had a few evenings watching the classic war films provided. Rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook any meal! 5 mins walk to the beach/town which has a safe atmosphere, great bakery for morning croissants Clair de Lune (5 Bd Gilbert Longuet) and very friendly pub The Mary Celeste (5 Rue Colonel René Michel) for an evening drink. Ideal location to visit the Normandy D-Day beaches and museum due to it central location on Gold Beach all others are less than an hour’s drive (Juno Beach 20 mins, Omaha 30mins, Sword Beach 40 mins, Utah 50 mins) and the lovely town of Bayeux only 15 mins away, where there is a large supermarket and the famous tapestry.

We had a pleasant stay. The house is very comfortable and well-decorated. Finally, the house is well located, very central to shine in the different villages.

The house was impeccable and comfortable, consistent with the description on the site. The location is perfect for visiting the area. The garden is ideal for coming with a dog in complete safety. The reserved accommodation was in all respects in line with our expectations for a family weekend; everything available for cooking, independence of everyone, comfortable rooms, close to everything; shops, restaurants and beach. The gym was a real treat for young and old (especially the foosball). The highlight is an absolutely adorable, thoughtful and available host for all our requests. We really felt at home!! Thank you for everything. We highly recommend this address and are, of course, ready to return!
