Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Calvert County

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

Lisa’s place was amazing! My daughter and I had a great visit. The location is perfect for going into Annapolis. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great few days!

What a calm and peaceful private retreat! My fiancée and I spent a couple of days enjoying the brisk bay breezes and beautiful sunsets at Vickie’s. Everything was exactly as advertised and Vickie (and Scott) are true treasures—extremely responsive and thoughtful hosts who want you to have everything you need. Plus, their knowledge of the area gave us a great introduction to Leonardtown. So much more to the area than we thought! Whether birdwatching from “the best view on the block” or reflecting on the glider by the bay, we loved every moment of quiet and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you!

John and Adam were excellent hosts. There were very responsive to my questions and issues. I loved the grounds and very well stocked kitchen. I would gladly stay there again.

We rented A Little Slice of Cambridge because of the Iron Man competition held that weekend. It was convenient to the venue...and allowed to walk to the competition and nearby restaurants. Pamela was a wonderful host...communicating easily. The rental was well stocked with toiletries, dishes, pots and pans and extras. The house was comfy and the beds comfortable. An enjoyable stay...unfortunately, we weren't able to stay for more sightseeing...although I did walk down to the Lighthouse and beautiful wharf.

Our second time here! An absolutely adorable gem of an Airbnb with the nicest hosts and most beautiful garden and dock on the River! Great restaurant recommendations, super comfortable beds, and lovely living room. Perfect for families visiting the beloved St. Mary’s River.

I came back just a few days later because I could not stop thinking about this place. The gas fireplace once again created the perfect cozy environment after long workdays. The unit is not only beautiful but also perfectly equipped for an extended stay. Everything I needed to feel settled and focused was already there. The hosts were just as wonderful the second time. Still one of my favorite stays in DC.

This place was so clean and comfortable. The deck was very quiet and private. The entire place was very accommodating. The beds were so comfy that it was hard to get motivated in the mornings….lol. The local Rise Up coffee was a special touch. It is one of my favorite places to get coffee when I’m in the Cambridge area. I had two other quest with me and they too agree that the place was delightful. The steps going up to the apartment were a bit difficult for my 77 year old mother but other than that we had a wonderful visit. I would highly recommend Kara’s place. Thank you again!

It was a great stay and a perfect location for our quick family back east. It was very comfortable, clean and a the right size for our family of 4. It was nice to have our own place to stay and not to far from our family. We didn’t spend much time in the town but it looked cute with shops, cafes and restaurants. We had great communication with Maria, she was very quick to respond. Thanks for a great and comfortable stay!!

Perfect spot in Solomon's and our group could walk to everything. Great house and would definitely stay here again!

My family had a wonderful stay at this BNB. Lots of space for everyone. Big rooms, really nice kitchen. It was very neat and clean. The neighborhood access to the beach was a plus. The neighborhood is very nice and convenient to the highway.

Dale is an incredibly proactive and helpful host. He checked in with us several times to ensure we had everything we need and went out of his way to meet us on our schedule to check in and show us around. This is a great spot to relax and look at the ocean or an easy commute to Solomon's Island and all its amenities. You also get access to the community's private beach, which is beautiful and a real asset!

This was a cute little home to stay at over the weekend. Only downside was having to pay for beach access. But the house itself was very nice and had all the kitchen items we needed. Would stay again.

Our third year of staying at Jennifer’s cottage and studio. A lovely location for a beach weekend with our family and grandchildren. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped, the cottage having a full kitchen and large sunny deck with BBQ. The studio is cozy and perfect for a couple. The community beach is a 2 minute walk, quiet and safe for young swimmers. We didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub or use the kayaks ( too busy with little kids!) but maybe next year!

Wonderful place - pictures do not do it justice. Home is spotless and beautifully furnished! We had a great time relaxing on our babymoon. Lots of great restaurants close by and so much to do at the house you never have to leave. Really appreciated the details such as the coloring station and ample beach towels. Hope to stay again in the future!

Ellen’s condo was absolutely perfect for Commissioning Week. The location couldn’t have been better—within walking distance to fantastic restaurants, the Naval Academy, and Graduation at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The coffee shop downstairs was a delightful bonus, and the underground parking was a major perk. Ellen provided clear and detailed instructions about the condo and guest expectations, making everything easy to understand and stress-free. The condo itself is beautifully and tastefully furnished, with all the essentials thoughtfully provided. The in-unit washer and dryer were a huge convenience. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed, complete with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. What I appreciated most was how quiet and peaceful the condo was—it offered a true retreat. The private patio was perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great time once again staying here. It is just steps from the main gate of USNA and the downtown activities and restaurants. Caite was also responsive and very flexible with us and our needs.

One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. Such a great place! My host Kristen was fantastic . She was very communicative and helpful and friendly . Check in was effortless. The location is great and near plenty of walkable restaurants and shopping . The Airbnb itself is an amazing throwback to cassette tapes and Go-Go. Thoughtful touches and cozy. Plenty of amenities . Everything about this staycation was great. A real home away from home.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Joe’s Airbnb when we came into town for Project Glow! The place was exactly as it was shown in the listing, super easy to access, and had lots of great amenities that made our trip very comfy. We made full use of the kitchen, which included a coffee maker, water boiler, and a nice assortment of teas, and the place also had a washer/dryer and nice shower. The place was absolutely spotless when we arrived and had plenty of space for the two of us. It’s a quick rideshare to the downtown area; the surrounding area isn’t the nicest, but the Airbnb was in a quiet area and we felt safe during our time there. Joe was also super responsive and helpful during our stay. Overall, would definitely stay again if in the area!

Loved the location of this place peaceful and walkable to many restaurants. Was a little bummed with the pool hours but all and all would stay again.

My friends and I had an amazing stay at George’s place. The location was perfect, we weren’t far at all from the attractions we wanted to see. The unit was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. My favorite area was the patio and my friends enjoyed the shower with the jets after a long day of traveling. I would definitely stay again and recommend highly to anyone visiting DC.

The unit was just like the pictures and Lauren was a great host. She gave us our privacy and was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The place was clean, cute, and spacious. The unit also had dimming lights that set the mood during the evening and was stocked with all the necessities you could possibly need. Definitely looking forward to staying again!
