We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

An excellent option for those looking to spend a few relaxing days on the wood. A typical little house with all the amenities. The area in which it is located is convenient for those who want to explore the island (by car), and is particularly sunny. Wonderful views. One of the biggest advantages is the provision of parking. Guests have been helpful and enjoyable. Nothing to point out :)

The house was a wonderful place for us and our family. Plenty of room and the kitchen was very well equipped. The view was spectacular and the pool and patio were an excellent spot to relax.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, pristine, peaceful home. Well equipped kitchen. Maria has thought of everything. The outside space was really great, plenty of space to enjoy the pool along with the outside kitchen BBQ. We walked to the botanical gardens which was 10 minutes away. Two small supermarkets and bakery 3 minutes walk from the house. We walked in Funchal several times and caught a taxi home. Lovely climate and beautiful surroundings.

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

We loved our two weeks at this location. Superb views over the ocean and the surroundings. All we needed in the house was present and clean. Very peaceful neighbourhood (although we were a little unlucky to have roadworks ongoing). Amazing private pool (with an extra bathroom)! Carolina was super friendly and always available for questions. Would love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommended!!

A beautiful accommodation, at an ideal distance from the airport and Funchal. And from the cottage, you can quickly reach many hikes.

The apartment was very clean, well equipped. During our stay, Rita made sure we had everything we needed. The balcony offers a beautiful view of the sunset. The apartment itself is located in the central part of the island, which makes it easy to explore. The only small disadvantage is the quite busy road by the building. Despite this, we rate the stay 5+

Such an amazing space! Our family highly enjoyed our stay. The home is more beautiful than the pictures. The pool was lovely and the location was great for hiking as well as trips to Funchal. We would love to come back again!

We loved our stay here. The surroundings of the area is beautiful, nestled in a valley and the gardens that the houses themselves are in are full of colour and have lots to look at. The houses themselves are clean, well equipped, we made great use of the shared kitchen and outdoor bbq. Don’t be put off by a communal kitchen, you still have your own fridge, kettle etc in your house and when we used the shared space we had it to ourselves. Everyone seems very respectful of the space to keep it clean and tidy. One of the best Airbnbs we’ve been too, in terms of comfort, equipment and location. Lauren was also always responsive and helpful. Would defo recommend this place ! I would say you need a car here, but then I’d say that goes for staying in medeira regardless if you want to see and enjoy all the island has to offer.

Noèlia is the best hostess you could wish for. She had a lovely, delicious gift waiting for us upon arrival and gave us a warm welcome. The villa was beautiful - stunning location - and perfectly furnished. Lovely walk to Ponta do Sol village but the walk back is not for the faint hearted - Bolt is available :-) Whilst there were a few teething issues on arrival, Rita was super responsive and helpful in sorting any problems and our stay was great. It was a lovely stay in a stunning villa with amazing views and we would love to come back.

If you’re looking for a quiet coastal cottage in Madeira this place is perfect. The view is beautiful with restaurants right around the corner. You’re steps away from the beach and beautiful hiking trails. The house is small but well kept and was very comfortable for two guests

One of the best Airbnb experiences: the place is not only immaculate and well-equipped, but it actually feels like home. The interior is a mix of modern and traditional and the outdoor garden is a haven of peace. The host's parents welcomed us with traditional cake and invited us to pick veggies from their garden. This is not a cheap Airbnb that panders to tourists; it's a real place in a small village, close to everything. The Calheta beach, Levada do Risco and, 25 Fontes are all within a 15-minute drive. We wished we could have stayed longer.

A nice and clean apartment with a very nice view - we had a great stay :) Tip: drive up the road to the house from above as it is very steep and narrow - the parking space is not for big cars😉

We had a really nice stay at Yessica’s place. We were in a quiet place of the city but we could easily reach all the restaurants & shops. She was easy to reach and flexible. Highly recommend!

A lovely place to stay, spacious accommodation. A beautiful view from one of the bedrooms as well as the kitchen/ outdoor area. Very helpful and friendly host. Super quick to reply at all times. The accommodation of Maria Joana and Janine was amazing! We felt welcome from the start. The area is really nice and has lots to do and restaurants to go. The best thing is that we’ve seen one the best sunsets from our own balcony and that says a lot for Madeira! During our stay we have asked Janine for tips on where to go and it was like talking to a search engine. She instantly sent us links with spot on restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend a stay here!
