Escape reality in this thoughtfully converted Woodland retreat, in the renowned and secluded 40 acre Pendarves bluebell woods. Near the historic mining town of Camborne, we are a short 20 minute walk from the mainline train station (6 by taxi). A plentiful supply of local attractions, reached most easily by those with their own vehicle. St Ives (13 miles), Falmouth (15 miles), Penzance (20 miles). Sadly we do not allow pets and due to the nature of the site, it is not wheelchair friendly.

The Apple Loft - perfect for a Cornish escape

The Apple Loft is a beautifully converted cottage in the grounds of Tremayne House, providing accommodation for two adults. The Apple Loft has a private courtyard to the back, perfect for long meals on sunny evenings or dozing in the sun. The spacious bedroom and shower room are on the ground floor, with an open plan kitchen/living space on the first floor. The kitchen provides a great space for creating some delicious dishes, while the comfy sofa and log burner make evenings even more cozy.

The cottage is set in the walled kitchen garden, as well as having shared access to grounds of the main house, the swimming lake and woodland that forms the Trenoweth Estate. it is a mix of fabulously simple and rustic with all mod cons. We’re ideally located between north & south coasts, 15 minutes to Hayle’s sandy beaches, historic Porthleven for foodies or St Michael’s Mount. Our idyllic shepherd’s hut is perfect for a quiet holiday. We’re off the beaten track, in a small hamlet, with nearby large farm shop/restaurant. We're just a ten minute drive to the long, sandy beach at Gwithian in St Ives bay. The hut is at the end of our big garden, overlooking fields and has its own outside eating area and fire pit/bbq. There’s a wood stove inside for cosy evenings. This is also a good place to work - quiet and with a table by the window, with views across fields.

You’ll love our place because of the boutique luxury ambiance, the peace and quiet, 12 acres of outdoors space with a pool, serene lake, free range chickens and a fire pit. At night you can snuggle down with the wood burner lit, the underfloor heating warming your toes, before you slip into the comfy bed. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and well behaved dogs.
