Cabin holiday rentals in Cambridge

We had a wonderful vacation. The cabin is a true gem in the North East Kingdom. Upon entering the house, fresh flowers decorated the rooms and we found a basket of snacks for us and our dog. Leslie and Matt’s passion for decorating made the house cozy and inviting. The grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed walking through the garden, relaxing on the deck, and walking to the river. The food shopping service Leslie and Matt offer is an added bonus. The cabin is also in a perfect location. There are many great hikes and restaurants close by. The North East Kingdom truly delivered with its scenic woods, spectacular summit views, and gorgeous waterfalls. Plus every meal was amazing. Thank you for your hospitality and making our vacation this year a memorable one! You both were responsive, friendly, and such a help before and during our stay. This vacation was exactly what we hoped for: a relaxing retreat among the trees. I wish we lived closer because I’d be back every year.

We had a great stay at Robin’s cabin right on Auger Lake for my birthday. The cabin was very clean and cozy, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was great especially since we had unexpectedly cold weather for June. The area was very quiet and peaceful, but still close to a lot of cool places. Definitely will be coming back!

Our stay at Tim and Renee’s was perfect. Gorgeous tiny house, super comfy, the hot tub was amazing. The spot the Airbnb is on is very private and peaceful. South Royalton is a cute little town with a nice food coop and coffee shop. Tim and Renee were super responsive the couple of times we had questions. Would absolutely come back.

Stunning natural surroundings, the cabin is nestled in valley by a brook, among the mountains, near trails, farms, and skiing. Lisa had some really nice touches and the house is well maintained, clean, and fun.

Perfect locations to spend a few quiet relaxing days. Close to many hiking trails for all different skill levels. Everything was perfect. We loved the hot tub. Daniel was super responsive. My girlfriend and I went to Vermont for a wedding and had a great time, this cabin was great for the two of us to have space away from all the busy events of the wedding and relax. The hot tub was amazing and it was very secluded. Pay close attentions to the drive in instructions, the road referenced in that section of this Airbnb's page is definitely not for a car and is very narrow.

My husband and I had a very nice and peaceful stay. We are so happy we got to spend the weekend connecting, exploring and definitely relaxing in the hot tub!

We had a lovely stay in the cabin and had the whole camp to ourselves. It was really easy for us to head out each day with our dog and enjoy the lake & woods. At night we grilled and enjoyed the wondering gas fire.

This is a really beautiful location. The pictures are accurate but they don't quite capture the scale of the bay, lake, and peninsula. You're perched up on a hill or cliff and the birds-eye perspective makes for a great view. The owners are welcoming but respect your privacy. Ausable Chasm is definitely worth the visit. It takes several hours to explore the trails so keep in mind to bring some water. I found Keeseville the perfect place for a peaceful getaway, away from all the traffic and nonsense associated with our daily lives. There are a couple of good spots to eat in town and everything is about 10 minutes from the cabin. Lake Placid is about 45 minutes way if you're looking for other things to do. The drive up Whiteface Mountain is breathtaking and High Falls Gorge is nice, but the gorge pales in comparison to Ausable Chasm.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Shed. It was comfortable and had everything we needed, with beautiful views and nearby towns for good food. Gros merci, Patricia!

Merle was/is an excellent host. Great communication throughout our stay. Definitely won’t be the last time we go there. Beautiful scenery and wonderful landscapes. We requested some wood for fire pit and there was a small pile waiting for us when we arrived. Super host and we would highly recommend to others. Jeff & Jen

We had an amazing stay at the Waldhaus. It’s so quiet and serene, and we loved the view from the huge picture windows in the living room. Our kids felt right at home with the bunk beds and puzzles/activities. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. We hope to return soon!

Catherine’s place was a dream. It’s right on the lake, so you have beautiful views and privacy. Catherine is very friendly and helpful and truly one of the best Airbnb hosts! We were undecided if we wanted to stay by the lake or in Burlington, and I am so glad we chose this Airbnb. We were close enough to town, but loved to get away to nature. She has extra amenities like a sauna, bikes, and kayaks. We brought our dog, and he loved having room to play ball and it was very pet friendly. I only wish we stayed longer, and I think it would have been great to be there in warmer weather. However, having my normal tea in the living area and watching the lake from inside was still lovely!

Had a beautiful time with my family and dogs! Beautiful home and surrounding views. The fire place inside and fire pit outside was a lovely thing. Absolutely no service but WiFi connectivity was excellent. Pre save your destination before leaving the house.

Loved staying at Rachel's cabin, it was much homier and better stocked than I expected! Everything was provided and it was spotless. The location wasn't perfect for our trip to Burlington and Stowe but if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful stay it's great. Overall we had a cozy and comfortable stay here, would recommend!

Such an awesome little place! We loved our stay. Such a cozy place to come back to after skiing all day. Close to Smugglers Notch and Stowe. Would definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful cabin , private and within 10 mins of the boat launch . Really enjoy making the trip up north every year .

Tania was so friendly and helpful. Her property was immaculate - I could have sat in front of her pond forever! All of her animals, including Chewy, were super cute and interactive. Her cabin was so cozy and beautiful. Perfect size for just one person or two people at most. I would so stay here again!

The view simply amazing. George our host was and he is all the things a good host should be; welcoming, helpful, accommodating, great personality and an awesome dog as well. I will strongly recommend this location if staying on top of a mountain with great views and a warm shower sounds like a great day to you. We stayed in the main cabin and it had everything we needed and then some. Very cool vintage design feel and very clean. Great job George! We will be back!

There is something truly serene about making breakfast with the sunrise pouring in. It was peaceful to be staying here. Very clean house and comfortable amenities. This location was perfect for many adventures all around. I loved staying here.
