Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Cambridgeshire

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse. It was bigger than we expected from the photos and very comfortable. Inside had everything we needed (and more!) including toys and games for the little ones and the gardens were just beautiful. We had lots of fun on the tennis courts! Lots in the area for young families. Hosts were very responsive whenever we had queries. Would recommend and would very happily stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at Roman House! Everything was pristine when we arrived and we were welcomed in in person. The house is fantastic! Ample space and excellent facilities. The children LOVED the cinema room! We had a fantastic evening cooking marshmallows on the fire in the garden. The garden was beautifully done and well equipped. The beds were very comfy and we all slept well.

We had a lovely stay at the Pondbarn, the barn and the surroundings are so peaceful. The interior is beautiful and cosy we all really felt at home and are already trying to arrange booking for next year. Thank you!!

WHAT A PLACE! Stunning location and being on the water was amazing. The property was very well equipped and deceptively big. Having a bbq by the water made it really feel like we were on holiday (despite the typical British weather). We know Isleham well and it’s a great location to access lots of things going on and the village pubs have amazing food. We’ll definitely be repeat customers of this place and look forward to doing some more fishing, paddle boarding/kayaking and bbq’s when we come back 🥳

The beds were incredibly comfortable, the showers were excellent, the kitchen so perfectly stocked. The welcome gift was a pure delight and really made us feel so welcome to this home. Had lovely relaxing few days, very quiet with beautiful gardens. Location is perfect. Lots of great walks from the doorstep and good village pub. John was abroad at time of our last minute booking but he still went out of his way to organise things for us. Accommodation top quality, cosy and homely. Only slight disappointment was that kitchen only had a sink and a fridge with no where to heat up our porridge! Would recommend definitely.

Cosy twin room, with ensuite, and compact kitchen. Everything was as described and suited us perfectly when visiting friends. Clear communication, and easy to access on arrival.

Tami's place was exactly as described and a gem. Everything was there that you needed as well as extras of the pool table, games, books and music. Bed was really comfortable, great location along the river. Tami kept in communication and respo ded quickly. would definitely recommend and go back again.

Great property, cottages, location and hosts! Everything was great, quiet and just what you expect. The only feedback was electrical charging for cars didnt always work as not super fast! Would highly recommend overall.

Amazing lodge, very clean and had all the amenities needed. We stayed for 1 night for my husband’s birthday and the little touches were lovely. A bottle of prosecco and orange juice plus milk in the fridge, toiletries in the bathroom and robes for the hot tub! The hot tub was so nice, especially sitting inside and taking in the views! A wonderfully cosy place where we were able to truly unwind. The fully enclosed garden was perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the peaceful sounds of birds and nature. The house itself is comfortable, well-appointed, and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The jacuzzi was an absolute treat – a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. We really appreciated the attention to detail, and felt right at home.

An absolutely delightful Airbnb - a cabin in a lovely garden behind the owners' thatched cottage - quiet and secluded, and in a pretty village. The interior, of one large room en suite, is well laid out and tastefully decorated and furnished. Fresh flowers, and homemade flapjacks and elderflower cordial on arrival, were a nice touch. My wife and I are unfamiliar with Essex and were pleasantly surprised by the villages and surrounding countryside. We regret not staying longer to see more of the county. Next time perhaps!

Would highly recommend staying in the cosy nest. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful garden and lights up and night. The geodome is a perfect extra to such a relaxing stay with blankets provided. Everything you need is provided and in such a great location as well.
