In the heart of the village, walking distance from local restaurants, brewery's, and shops as well as mountain bike trails. 5 mi from a beach where you can rent canoes/kayaks/paddle boards. Enjoy the slopes, hiking, Ben and Jerry's, local brewery's, or the Vt. landscape, settle in with a warm jacuzzi tub. At the end of the day cozy up on a king sized bed watching Netflix's.

Enjoy a piece of Stowe history in the heart of the lower village. Quickly set up base camp for all of your Vermont adventures in this cozy, ground-level unit. Grocery store steps away or take a leisurely stroll down Main St. to all of the best bars, restaurants, shops, and amenities. We provide our guests with space and privacy but we are local and are available. We do not provide concierge services. No pet fee We work with a professional cleaner & laundry service after each turnover

Waterbury Center Guest Bedroom - 244 Howard

The guestroom room has a separate entrance located off a covered, back porch with a small table and chairs for summer use. There is adjustable heat and cool air from the wall mounted air-source, heat pump. The little kitchen alcove is convenient for coffee or tea or a light meal (toaster oven, single induction “hot” plate, water heater) We live in a historic building. Our neighborhood is very close to Rte 100. Waterbury village and Stowe are nearby too with skiing, hiking and biking.

Please note: We have a firm no kids policy due to the open loft and stairs.

Easy access to VAST snowmobile trails, within an hour's drive to 3 ski areas (Stowe, Smuggler's Notch and Jay Peak), X-Country skiing right outside the door or in Craftsbury or Stowe. Elmore State Park is 3 miles away. Hiking trails and kayaking abound!

Our property in Vermont is a slice of heaven: Set between Burlington & Stowe, 10 minutes off the main highway I-89, with quick access to the main spots in Vermont, but tucked down a dirt road with nothing but the sounds of the stream. On our property we built The Tuckaway Suite, an entirely private guest suite above our garage. With access to a hot tub, and hiking trails right outside the door, this space is a brand new build with cozy cabin vibes.
