The apartment is located in one of the most characteristic squares in the world: the square of the Roman Amphitheatre, where in later periods apartments were rebuilt on its ruins. Until the 1960s, the square was home to the wholesale fruit and vegetable market and was considered a very poor neighborhood. The apartment is a project of mine and my brother's. We took care of the renovation in person by handcrafting the furnishings. It is located within the city walls of Lucca, with ceilings over 3 meters high and double views that make the space very bright. It has a small balcony and a decorative fireplace (not usable due to city regulations). It is a penthouse and is located on the 3rd floor of a historic building, it does not have an elevator.
