Beach house holiday rentals in Cape Henlopen

We needed a place to stay while we transitioned to Delaware. This was the perfect place for us. It was close to the beach, comfortable, very quite, and everyone was so friendly. We felt like we were at home even if it was a temporary stop. There was plenty of space and things we needed to make our stay smooth. Shane and Erin were helpful and wonderful hosts, they let us know of upcoming event's and if there was anything we should be aware of. I would recommend this place to couples or families. We stayed during the holidays and it felt magical to be there during this time.

We had a lovely time at this bayfront home! The views from the balconies were amazing. The house was very very clean and had everything we needed. Host answered our questions and had helpful communications. We hope to visit again soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Liz’s place for a long weekend! We stayed with 3 small dogs who ran laps around the huge fully fenced in yard all weekend long; Only thing to note is there is not direct access to the backyard from the house, just a few small steps from the side door to the fence.. wasn’t a problem for us, our dogs learned quickly! The neighborhood is quiet and while the beach on the bay isn’t exactly for lounging, it was a quick walk from the house and was perfect for morning & evening walks! It was amazing to see all of the horseshoe crabs. The beaches of Cape May are a quick 20 minute drive. Liz provided an extensive list of recommendations prior to our arrival which made it easy to plan ahead. We had some rain and wind during our stay but the house was cozy for when we weren’t out & about! The beds were comfortable. Highly recommend this stay!

This residence was spotlessly clean and well-stocked with all that was needed for a great stay with family. Spacious rooms, multiple porches/decks, nice view of the bay, and beautiful pool/patio area were all enjoyable features of the home.

We enjoyed staying here immensely! All the amenities for the kitchen, clean, location was stellar!! There were bellhop trolleys available which were a giant help getting our gear to the condo. Michael was quick to respond.

This is a very family friendly home and beach. The beach was very close and so private. I loved the fire pit and the hot tub. The way the house was divided into three living spaces on each floor was really great for our situation. There were so many amenities, such as the kayaks, the fishing poles, and the bikes. I also really liked how the kitchen was well stocked, which made it feel very homelike. The host was very responsive - within 10 minutes, even late at night. Area is nice & close to Rehoboth boardwalk, about a 30 minute drive. This is my first time in a northern East Coast beach, and it was really great. It was a bay, so there were not a ton of waves, which worked out well for our kids. But for a bay, it did seem really close to open ocean as well, so I didn’t feel like we were missing out. There was so much wildlife in the area. We saw stingrays, dolphins, sharks, and of course, horseshoe crabs. Recommend 100%. Bring bug (mosquito) spray - only negative. Will stay again!

Beautiful place, quiet, comfortable, clean, well maintained landscaping, and has all the accessories typically required! Beautiful back yard for sitting too. Close proximity to the bay side beach is a plus, and very quiet neighborhood. Linda provided a book with recommendations around Cape May area. Felt very welcoming and right at home!

We decided last minute to travel over Memorial Day weekend. We were fortunate to find Katie's place open for a few days. She is a very responsive host. Home was very clean and as listed. We were able to bring our dog and found her property to be very dog friendly. Peaceful location just a short walk to the bay. Perfect for small family with pet. Close to all Cape May has to offer.

We visit Rehoboth every summer., and Thierry and Teresa's property was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. The location was conveniently located by the outlets and grocery stores without having to go out the main road where it gets super congested. The property itself was beautiful and it felt like home for us. We found comfort and relaxation throughout the entire house, but the sunroom was our absolute favorite spot! We spent a lot of time in the sunroom for coffee, lunch, and dinner after a day outdoors. Our littles loved the bonus kids' room. They spent a lot of time enjoying the books provided and watching shows after a long day at the beach. The two fridges were also amazing to keep all of our drinks and food for two families. We would book Thierry and Teresa's property again!

5 stars just doesn’t seems like enough this place absolutely deserves 10 stars. The pictures didn’t do it justice it’s even better than the pictures. Decorated beautifully-great location with easy access to walk to the beach. Great dining locations nearby- pool was perfect for the kids after a long day at the beach it was great for them to play in the pool while mom and dad could relax and watch the sunset over the bay. We will definitely be back and recommend this location to anyone we know traveling to ocean city! Thank you for an amazing experience!

I arrived after dark, on a Friday, so I was thinking I’d have some challenge to find the house. I was wrong! There was a guard at the gate who was quite friendly and helpful, gave me the parking pass for my stay and a map with outlined directions to find the street and the house. I found it first time through. Keys were in the lockbox, instructions were clear and the gate pass card was in the dish on the table. I had a lovely quiet night in a very comfortable bed with no noise or distractions. After a 10 hour drive I needed that! In the morning I had a small convenience issue, which Terri and Shawn were immediately responsive to, offered me a self service solution which worked fabulously and I had no other problems during my stay for a total of 8 nights. I especially loved the water pressure in the shower! Love that the house is a short hop from both OC and Assateague! I would definitely stay here again!

Dave’s place was nothing short of phenomenal. I’ve stayed at many an Airbnb and have never had such a pristine experience along with a host that was bending over backwards. I don’t think I waited more than 10 minutes for a response from Dave when I had a question. The location is at the top of cape may with beautiful scenery in the front and total privacy in the back. I can’t encourage people enough to stay here! It was perfect.

We had an amazing stay and we loved the pool! It's definitely not your average Airbnb and felt like home. We had 5 adults & 1 toddler. The upstairs was great for the toddler/my husband and I since it was larger and had the private bathroom but was still usable to other guests, if needed because of the separate doors. There also had all the beach amenities you would need, which was so helpful - along with the Rehoboth parking pass. We can't thank M&M enough for this great option!

Danielle’s place was just awesome. From the minute we walked in we felt right at home. Very spacious, bright and just lovely overall! The kitchen had everything that you could dream of. Whenever we thought, oh we need this and that, it was right there. The sunroom is a dream to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon drink. The bedrooms upstairs are spacious, very comfortable and the bathrooms had all amenities that you needed. We didn’t really use the backyard due to the weather but I am convinced that you will have a great time outdoors if the temperatures are right!! We will definitely try to come back!! Thank you!!!

We have rented Jennifer's home a few times for our coaches and it is always seamless!

Tara was very responsive to us during our stay and prompt. The home was perfect for my husband and I as well as our two kids, in laws and dog. The fenced in yard was very nice for our dog. We enjoy walking to the bay which was nice and close even though our daughter called it the scary beach since there were horseshoe crabs everywhere (we learned it's their season to lay eggs in the sand). The home is in a nice location in a quiet neighborhood.

Our family loved this spot! Was actually bigger than the pictures made it seem which was great! Great location and really close to the bay. Worked really well for our little ones too! We’ll definitely be back!

This has been my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! The space truly has everything you could possibly think of—every utensil, pot, pan, and seasoning you might need is already there. The kitchen is so well-stocked, it made cooking feel effortless. The home itself is spacious, cozy, and perfect for a girls trip. The views are absolutely stunning—waking up to the sound of the ocean and looking out at the water every morning was so refreshing. Even though the beach itself was just okay, the overall atmosphere made it the perfect getaway. My friends and I had such a great time and genuinely wished we could have stayed longer. The host was super responsive and easy to reach, which made everything even smoother. I really hope to come back one day—this stay was truly special!

We had a great stay. It’s super convenient. A touch smaller than some of the homes we’ve stayed in locally of comparable price, but also it was closer to the beach. Plenty of space in living area/kitchen.

My sister and I enjoyed our time here with our girls. Megan’s place was super cute. The beds were comfortable too. We would definitely stay again.

Moms weekend with our daughters was awesome. The house was clean and comfortable. Really thoughtful touches such as a first aid kit, and over the counter meds. I have never seen that in any AirBNB. Outlet shopping and nice restaurants were close. An all around good time had by all.🍸

This was our second stay here, and we would definitely book a third. It’s a beautiful house with dedicated parking and a great spot to beach hop around the area. It feels quiet and tucked away but still so close to everything. I would absolutely recommend it!

Marty’s place is perfect for a large group. It’s close to town and walkable to the beach. There is so much to do as well as the house is stacked with games. We loved hanging in the garage and by the hot tub. Would stay here again
