Paula was an extremely welcoming and kind host, always making sure we had what we needed during our stay. She provided recommendations for local activities, including the festivals that were taking place during our stay. A quick 18 minute walk into town with multiple swimming spots along the way, and a quick walk in the other other direction to the vineyards. We would definitely stay here again!

To start, it was a dark and stormy night (🤭) when we arrived. Without internet / service and having forgotten to note the address, we were struggling to get to the house. One phone call to Adelaide and she and Jose happily met us and got us there. I cannot say enough about this having been our first experience. Such helpful and gracious hosts. Their home is impeccable and placed in a beautiful Praia do Norte neighborhood with amazingly gorgeous views, beach access in moments and walking and hiking trails no matter which way you turn. The amenities were spot on and there was not one thing we needed that was not available. We absolutely loved everything about this home, location and neighborhood. Our evenings ended with a glass of port outside on the porch listening to the sound of the waves, is there anything better. Highly recommend.

questa mini-casa è perfetta per coppie, spersa nel nulla ti permette di staccare la spina dalla quotidianita ed immergerti nella natura. la mini casa in sè é adorabile, piccolina ma molto pulita e attrezzata con tutto il necessario, la whirpool condivisa è un bel plus. peccato che non offra la possibilita di fare colazione, sarebbe. un sogno!

We had a wonderful stay in Nico’s house. The view cannot be beat! The house was spacious and very comfortable for our family of 5. Nico was extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations of local restaurants and activities. He also personally met us at the ferry terminal to help us get settled on Pico as well as showing us where the grocery store and bakery was. House was quiet and all the amenities including some Pico treats to greet us. Highly recommend!

Fijn en warm ingericht appartement waar je je gelijk thuis voelt met prachtig uitzicht over de oceaan! Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Locatie is prima om het eiland te verkennen. Marianna is een zeer plezierige en behulpzame vrouw met goede tips. Aanrader!

Perfekt! Das Häuschen ist in echt sogar noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von Cristiano empfangen. Er hat sich viel Zeit genommen, uns alles zu zeigen und uns mit zahlreichen Tipps für die Insel versorgt. Die Unterkunft war sauber und mit ausnahmslos allem ausgestattet, was man braucht – vom Willkommenskorb über Waschmaschine und Trockner bis hin zu Liegestühlen für den Garten, es ist alles vorhanden. Der Sandstrand ist in fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar (wenn auch wegen der Wellen nicht immer ideal zum Schwimmen). Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und würden am liebsten mehr als 5 Sterne vergeben. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!

One of the nicest, most beautiful properties we have ever stayed in!! Cannot say enough about the views, spotless and very comfortable, with attention to detail and warm greetings from the host, including wine, bread, ham and cheese when we arrived. All so thoughtful, and playing three holes of mini golf was a fun addition. Highly recommend!

Our family of 7 spent a wonderful week at Paula’s magical WakaLand compound. We spread out in all 3 houses( 2 with WiFi and 1 without) and enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful location. The houses were clean and well outfitted with all of the necessities. The pool, BBQ , outside seating at each house and beautiful landscaping made it difficult to leave the property to explore the island of Pico. Paula was always responsive and provided excellent information regarding local restaurants, tour companies and things to do on the island. She even purchased a washing machine so that we could do laundry on site. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at WakaLand and hope to return soon!
