Boutique Fisherman’s Cottage - 2 mins from beach

NaomiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had not been to the area before but were delighted with the accommodation and with Cullercoats. The cottage was stylish and luxurious, ticking all the boxes for a really comfortable bed, great shower, well-equipped, excellent kitchen and everything you needed for a short stay or a longer one. The upstairs ensuite bedroom had a lovely sea view and was really peaceful. The downstairs double room and separate bathroom were practical as we had family visiting. The neighbourhood was quiet and friendly and the location was superb - the cottage was minutes from the beach, a small supermarket and the Metro. You could walk from the door into Whitley Bay or Tynemouth. The beach was excellent and we swam in the sea. The coastal pathway between Whitley Bay and North Shields with its separate cycle lanes will be a wonderful asset and parts of it are already completed. We settled in really well and very quickly and were a bit sad to leave. Thank you to Vikki.

Warksburn Old Church: Style & Sustainability

GillyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Warksburn Old Church is an incredibly special place. Recently renovated, this unique property features a state-of-the-art interior surrounded by the stunning stone and stained glass windows of the original 19th-century church. The tasteful decor has the vibe of a boutique hotel complete with luxurious and thoughtful details throughout. The spacious kitchen is perfectly equipped and if you don’t feel like cooking, there is a great pub restaurant in walking distance. We were warmly welcomed by owners Anne and Alan who were extremely helpful in guiding us through the house and giving us valuable tips for the local area. We were a party of five, including a small child and were very comfortable throughout our stay. This property is a peaceful and calm haven and makes for an ideal base from which to explore the stunning scenery and Roman remains of Northumberland. Highly recommend!

Lovely village pub serving good food no more than 5 minute walk along road from cottage., also there is a bus stop outside of pub which runs into Hexham. Would definitely stay here again

Cosy Cottage ideal for Explorers & City Escapers

MelissaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Parlour was comfortable and homey. It was originally a milking parkour that has been remodeled into a wonderful place to stay. It has a loft for kids that made me wish I was ten again. Kids would love it! We enjoyed the downstairs with the spacious bedroom and comfortable bed. We cooked our meals in the well outfitted kitchen. The living and dining room was relaxing and inviting. We appreciated the beer and prosecco in the welcome basket. I mentioned that I had hurt my knee, and Claire stopped by with hiking poles I could use. So thoughtful and kind. We enjoyed our time visiting sites along Hadrian’s Wall. This was an ideal base for that.

Hyem - Northumberland Nook

MatthewRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The location is amazing, you feel like you are in the depths of the countryside whilst still being close to surrounding towns / places to visit. The site is on its own so very private. It’s fantastic to have your own secure grounds too, especially if you have a dog! The building itself is well equipped, very romantic and tastefully designed. The Hikki bath is amazing to use under the stars, we even went in when it was raining one night. The owners, Tom & Hannah were both very attentive if we needed anything and informative / proactive before our check in date to make sure everything was right for our stay. Thank you for a special stay!

Cosy Coach House

JamesRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The Cozy Cottage is small but perfectly adequate for 2 people. It is stylishly decorated and furnished and spotlessly clean. There are pubs, cafes and shops just a short walk away. The kitchen is stocked with a few store cupboard ingredients making self catering easier than usual. I can't fault it. 5 stars.
