Jay and Claudia treated me like family and brought me around town, took me to the beaches and introduced me to friends. Felt right at home.

El apartamento de Mariella es muy cómodo, completamente equipado, con buenos acabados y el mobiliario muy bonito. Todo lo que se ofrece se encuentra en muy buen estado, no tuvimos problemas con el internet ni aires acondicionados. El edificio y las áreas comunes bien cuidadas y limpias, buena atención del personal de seguridad. La vista a la playa desde el apartamento es muy bella. Me encantó que tiene acceso directo a la playa y en una zona limpia y bastante solitaria. Totalmente satisfechos con el lugar y la atención de Mariella..

Stella Mar is a great value. We stayed in the upstairs apartment. It was spacious and very convenient. The location is also excellent close to restaurants and it’s right on the beach. We would stay here again.

Excellent stay. Premises and surroundings are exactly as described. Apartment is well furnished with the comforts of home and the property manager (office two minutes away) responds immediately. I've paid twice as much for a fraction of the amenities. They even provide beach towels! Exceptional value for the money and perfect for long stays. The host provides an awesome detailed info package about the apartment, town and activities. Uber safe building with a system of locking doors and gates. I was able to keep A/C costs low by opening up the windows and doors every morning to take advantage of the constant breezes. Location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance, including hiking trails and access to all points north, south and east. Food is inexpensive with an abundance of street food vendors. The town has something for everyone and at this time of year is busy as Easter is next week. SJDS undergoes a total transformation that is interesting to see.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful beachfront apartment in San Juan del Sur! The views were breathtaking—waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunset from the balcony was pure magic. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was **exceptionally well-equipped** (a huge plus for us since we love cooking), and the modern amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. The AC worked perfectly, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the bed was super comfortable. The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the beach, with easy access to restaurants, cafes, and the vibrant town of San Juan del Sur. Whether you want to relax by the ocean or explore the area, this is the perfect home base. The host was also fantastic—responsive, helpful, and provided great local recommendations. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. **Highly recommend**

Súper agradecida. Mike siempre estaba atenta a mis preguntas y necesidades. Apartamento súper limpio . Iguana es un lugar que llena cualquier expectativa.

We had the pleasure of staying at La Giralda. The view was amazing and everything is just as described. It’s a great place to take a step back, relax and enjoy nature. The monkeys and the birds greeted us every morning. We also saw a bat, a couple of cool squirrels and cicadas. Luis really went out of his way to provide great local recommendations and was super attentive to my family and I. Always willing to help and extremely friendly. There’s no doubt we will be staying at La Giralda again.

Nous avons adoré l’appartement, particulièrement la terrasse avec la vue et les couchers de soleil. L’appartement est à 10 minutes à pied de la plage. Heureusement le taxi connaissait l’emplacement. Si vous arrivez par vos propres moyens, assurez-vous vous d’arriver de clarté.

We loved staying at Carolina’s house and really wished we could have longer. The house itself was beautiful and comfortable while the outside space also was equally enjoyable. Carolina was an amazing host who helped us so much, we’re very appreciative of her sharing that space they’ve built with us. It really does feel like a paradise when you’re able to watch sunset from that hammock or walk the beach at Playa Amarillo with no one around. It was fantastic having both the empty Playa Amarillo and Playa Gigante, with some walk-up bars/restaurants and small pulperías. We can’t wait to go back, and if you’re considering this area, this really was an amazing find to us.

We hadden een fantastisch verblijf in Uri’s cabana. We werden warm onthaald en voelden ons meteen thuis. Uri is een geweldige host en stond steeds klaar om ons te helpen onder andere met het huren van een brommer en regelen van surflessen, maar ook toen we motorpech hadden. Bovendien is het een prachtige locatie, en konden we helemaal tot rust komen in zijn klein paradijs.

The landscape and scenery were just spectacular! The place was so immaculately landscaped with plenty of lounge chairs and hammocks for relaxing. The caretaker was super helpful in getting us tours, restaurant suggestions and taking care of whatever we needed. The lake was beautiful and perfect temperature to swim in. We heard monkeys, roosters and tons of birds. It was a lovely jungle experience. The last night we had a major thunderstorm that lasted all night and we lost power so that was exciting and added to the full Nicaraguan experience. The road to get to the house is well paved, except the last 1/4 mile or so which was a rough dirt road so make sure you have an suv. I would definitely stay here again and for longer next time. There are restaurants a half mile away that are quite nice with equally great views.

Beautiful spot- steps from the beach which is such a bonus traveling with kids. The view from each balcony was so nice. The small private pool was perfect too. I was in the master bedroom and the a/c worked great at night. We brought our paddle boards and the bay was a perfect spot for that. We saw a sea turtle! Our host was very communicative and accommodating. The beach bar/restaurantwas very disappointing. The first day they didn’t have fruit so no smoothies or blended drinks. The second day all they had available was beer and shots. So bring your own drink and food so you don’t get stuck without! We were a little disappointed that the beautiful sliding patio doors didn’t have a screen so we couldn’t keep them open for an ocean breeze (flys and mosquitos). We had a wonderful time and will definitly come back!

Mi familia y yo disfrutamos de unos días maravillosos en Villa Delfín, en Playa Maderas. La villa superó nuestras expectativas: las vistas son espectaculares, la piscina tiene un tamaño y una profundidad ideal, y todas las amenidades de la casa estaban en excelentes condiciones. Sin embargo, lo que realmente hizo la diferencia fue la atención de Dan y su equipo. Fueron increíblemente amables, profesionales, atentos y comprensivos durante toda nuestra estancia. ¡Recomiendo Villa Delfín sin dudarlo!

Amazing beach house! This was my second time renting, and it’s always clean, cozy, and comfortable. The views are absolutely stunning, and Robert is super friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Can't say enough about Casa Margarita. It was a wonderful trip, made even better by a communicative, helpful, engaged owner. I'm hesitant to write such a glowing review because I want it to be available when I return to Guasacate next year! It would be a fool's errand to try to encompass my thoughts, as I'd leave something important out, but it's a safe bet that you'll enjoy your stay at Casa Margarita. I'll certainly be back soon.

J ai adoré mon séjour l endroit est formidable. Le balcon donne une très belle vue sur l océan et les coucher de soleil sont a couper le souffle. Le spot est parfait pour aller surfer et profiter pleinement de la plage et la piscine. Pour se rendre au village il est préférable de se louer une petite bicyclette, moto ou kart de golf ! Il est certain que j y retourne l année prochaine!

Really lovely place to stay. Located in a beautiful spot and the apartment was exactly as described. All really clean and comfortable. A very short walk to the beach where there is a nice bar and restaurant. There is also a little pool just outside the apartment block which was really handy for little ones. Roberta was very helpful and quick to answer any question. We’d definitely stay here again!

We loved this location. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating. They cleaned the condo every couple days and made sure we had fresh towels on our 2 week stay. This spot is a little more expensive than most others, but the location is hard to beat. Walking distance to club house, playa colorado and restaurants

This spot in Nicaragua is an absolute gem. It was our first trip as a family (my wife and our 10-month-old baby), and we all had a blast. Angela, our host, took care of all the logistics for getting to and from the airport, ensuring a stress-free arrival. You can run from the patio straight to one of the best waves in southern Nicaragua. The brand new private pool for guests was perfect for our baby, especially since the community pool can get crowded and noisy. Pili's restaurant and bar is just a 60-second walk from the unit, and we went often for yummy food. All the amenities are exactly as described, providing everything we needed. We needed special items for our baby, and Angela and her team sourced exactly what we needed. This was a game changer! It's a great spot for a family or a strict surf trip. We are already planning our next trip here (staying longer this time)! We had an incredible experience and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Nicaragua.

Our stay was excepcional, the facilities and amenities were in optimal conditions, the place was pleasant. The host was kind and helpful, definitly I recommend it specially for families with kids.

El alojamiento estaba en perfectas condiciones, muy cómodo, a solo pasos de la playa, los propietarios son muy amables y responden muy rápido cualquier duda. Para tomar en cuenta en el futuro, en el complejo hay 1 sola piscina para los 3 apartamentos, los propietarios viven ahí mismo, y aunque un automóvil puede ingresar por la calle, sí es mejor llegar con carro alto. Por lo demás, la estadía estuvo muy placentera.
