Holiday rentals with a kayak in Carbon County

We can’t say enough good things about Elizabeth and Donovan’s place. Not only was everything exactly as described, clean, and comfortable, but they were the most responsive and proactive hosts. I’m very familiar with the community, having lived just a few doors down growing up and knowing the former owners of their home, so to say this was the perfect respite for my family and I is an understatement. We are already planning to return next year — we love the community and its proximity to everything in both Jim Thorpe and the general Pocono area. Their home felt like our home and we can’t thank them enough for sharing their space with us.

Worked out great for our family’s annual getaway. Location is right on the lake and even though we had constant rain for our stay, the wall of glass doors with the lake view made it bright and relaxing.

The place was spotless and exactly as described. Brad was super helpful and responsive, making sure everything went smoothly. Perfect spot for a hassle-free stay. I’d 100% recommend.

Great stay at Katie's place. The weather wasn't perfect, but we were still able to get some great kayaking time on the sizable lake, grill and make a bonfire. Just a 10 minute drive away we found an amazing hike and view at Tank Hollow as well as the historical town of Jim Thorpe which we were quite impressed by. It was a great property to call home for a small reunion of friends looking for a convenient escape from the city.

Allison’s place is perfect if you’re looking for a cute cozy space to unwind and relax. Her place was so clean and looked exactly like the photos. She’s more than willing to help with anything you need while you’re there too! Overall great place to stay!

Had a lovely stay at the Pump House. The accommodations were something out of a storybook. The cutest little place along the river. The beautiful intentionally designed space lets you know someone put a lot of thought into each item on the property. The artwork throughout the grounds was truly like being in a museum in a natural setting. I loved every moment and will surely return again!

We had such an incredible time! Truly a weekend of rest and relaxation. We loved getting a little tour of the farm, the animals, the location and the town. Would TOTALLY recommend. Ryan is also a fantastic host! Five stars all around.

The cottage is perfect. Beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The sauna overlooking the lake was amazing. The easy access to the kayaks was great and paddling on the lake was so peaceful. Five stars for a PERFECT weekend at a perfect cottage.

Had a great stay very peaceful and private with beautiful views of the river host was great would recommend staying at save river cottage and hope to stay again …

From booking to check-out, Karan made this entire process so smooth. The cottage was lovely, exactly as described, and properly cleaned!! We had everything we needed, and the cozy welcoming space felt just like home. We had a wonderful stay!

Janel was wonderful! She had clear instructions to navigate all the amenities and my family and I enjoyed a relaxing time. Will definitely book again!

Timothy's cabin was so nice! It was clean, easy to find, and had great outdoor space. We felt right at home! We also appreciated that it was pet friendly as well. Would stay at his property again for sure.

We really enjoyed our long weekend at the Chipmunk cottage. Beautiful hike at Hickory Run State Park, biking in the Le High valley, kayaking on the lake, and just taking it easy at the cottage. Our favorite room is definitely the sun room with direct view on the lake.

My girlfriends, dogs, and I stayed here this past weekend and I can’t get over how great of an experience we had. Lori & James were extremely responsive and kind (especially given that we accidentally broke a couple things in the cabin). They were so sweet and the cabin and surroundings were just what we needed for a girls weekend away. As young girls we also felt so safe in the area and in James and Lori’s hands lol. We’ll definitely be coming back! Truly cannot say enough good things about our experience at the Frog Pong Cabin :)

The place was exactly what we were looking for. a beutiful house with beutiful nature around. The kitchen is full of whatever you need for cooking. There is a nice porch were you can drink and look at the wildlife around. Angela was super nice and responsive, helped with everything we asked.

My husband and I were trying to getaway from the city, have some relaxing time for us with our dog and Vera’s and Alex place was just perfect! We had a great time, the house was clean and beautiful, my husband loved spending time making fire at the fireplace and then building the fire for the Hot tub that was gorgeous. Vera and Alex were answering our questions really quick so we didn’t have any issues! Looking forward to book this place again in the future! 😊

Njca was incredibly responsive but her property was self sufficient 🙂 the pool table and down stairs area is great to break away to but the upstairs deck is the best part in my opinion. The grill and deck is well equipped and the hot tub has a lot of settings. There is some bears in the area … but you can not avoid that in the poconos, we got a cool view of a mama bear while soaking in the hot tub 🙃

Mike’s place was amazing! My friends and I were able to celebrate our first Galentine’s celebration and Mike made it perfect for us. He was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. His home was amazing and accommodating for my friends and I. We look forward to visiting again soon.
