Lots of space in the place. Quiet side of town. We had some lovely walks from the place. The scones Edgewater were amazing! Wanaka is a beautiful town.

We had an amazing stay at Annie's apartment in Wanaka! The place is modern, beautifully decorated, and very cozy with great heaters and ambient lighting. The view was stunning, and we were within walking distance to shops, cafes, and restaurants. Annie was incredibly accommodating, allowing us an early check-in and being so understanding when we accidentally broke a glass. They also made sure the heaters were on before we arrived, which made the place extra comfortable. We really appreciated the milk and tea provided, which we made good use of. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Wanaka, this is definitely the place to go!

Oh where do I begin…Sararose and Jules family has the most charming apartment nested in an incredible mountain valley. But what touched my heart was how everything was designed and built in this apartment, and I really mean EVERYTHING. From the fully equipped and stocked kitchen to the cozy fire place, to the spotless bathroom, everything is thoughtfully placed and made by hand. Craftsmanship can be felt everywhere. It’s such a warm welcoming space inside out. The window seat is no joke, exactly as shown on the photos. Come here, you will find everything you will ever need, inside out.

We are a couple in our late 30's who were looking for a quiet location we could go in and out of and have time to chill out comfortably if needed. Lake Hayes was a great location as its right next door to Arrowtown and just 25 minutes from Queenstown waterfront. It's a great gateway to all the towns like Cardrona, Wanaka, Cromwell, Gibbston, Lake Tekapo etc. A great alternative to Queenstown. Peter and Jilly are lovely hosts and have a beautiful home overlooking what looks like an oil painting landscape! There are trees and rolling hills and gardens and birdsong, frost in the chilly mornings, and snow capped Coronet peak - it was just a stunning location. Their house is modern and has beautiful high ceilings and is well equipped with everything you need.

Tim’s place was absolutely stunning! The views are incredible and the home is the perfect size. We’re a young family with a toddler and the space was excellent, the front deck overlooking Shotover was a great spot to burn toddler energy. It was easy to find, Tim’s directions were clear and easy to understand. Close to Queenstown itself but also to Arrowtown which was perfect.

We had a fantastic stay — the property was absolutely perfect! It was incredibly family-friendly, spotless, and had the most amazing views. It exceeded our expectations and was even better than the listing described. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay!

This is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! The house is absolutely stunning—spacious, immaculately clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay so comfortable. The highlight, without a doubt, is the breathtaking view. Waking up to such a gorgeous scenery every morning felt like a dream. This beautiful home made our first trip to Queenstown truly unforgettable! My family couldn’t stop talking about how special this place was! The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and easy access to nearby attractions. Every little detail, from the cozy bedding to the well-equipped kitchen, was just perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough—it’s truly a hidden gem. If you’re looking for a memorable getaway, don’t hesitate to book here. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay! The cottage is incredibly well-equipped, and we especially loved the fireplace, which made the evenings warm and cozy. The view is absolutely stunning, probably one of the best lakefront locations on Lake Hawea. The hosts were also very responsive and friendly, always quick to help with any questions. We would love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort and amazing scenery!

We absolutely loved staying at this property! The house itself is impeccably clean and well-maintained, but what truly made it special was the surrounding area. The open field nearby offered stunning autumn views, and on clear nights, we could even see the Milky Way right from the property—a magical experience! We had a wonderful stay! Our hosts were welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. We felt right at home. It struck the perfect balance: private and peaceful, yet just a short drive or bike ride to some good restaurants. We especially appreciated the little touches that made the space so comfortable. The highlight for my family was Rusty — the hosts’ friendly dog who quickly became a daily companion and source of joy for my child. Watching them play together was such a delight and added an unexpected charm to our visit. This was easily one of our favourite BnB experiences and we would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended for families looking for a restful, well-located getaway with heart.

This is the most striking house in the most beautiful location I have stayed in New Zealand. If you have a big group and are looking for something posh, this is a terrific place. We felt right at home.

We could not have loved Wanaka and this condo more! Everything was so clean, located close to the town area, and Alex & Jesper were wonderful hosts! It was 3 days of bliss for us. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Excellent stay with Kate. Her place is thoughtfully decorated with expansive mountain views and felt like home in Wanaka immediately. Great outdoor balcony overlooking the ranges which a BBQ to enjoy some food and drinks. Kate was an incredible host proactively offering baby essential items for our little one, answering questions we had within minutes, checking in to see how I stay was. The property was kept in immaculate condition, place felt brand new with modern amenities like aircon, heating in all rooms and exceptionally clean which was really important for us travelling with a baby and the wider complex had excellent amenities like tennis courts, spa and gym which was an added bonus for an Airbnb. Highly recommend and great place for a family or anyone to come back home after a day venturing in and around Wanaka

Location is great with private parking so you don’t have to worry about finding one far away and shifting luggages. The place I clean and near most of the needed amenities, beautiful surrounding and walking distance to the lake. Full function kitchen with no restriction of what are allowed to be cooked. Jane is a wonderful host ensuring our safe arrival and proactively helped us check on the status of the road closure, ensuring our safe arrival. We were greeted with a warm welcome, chocolate and a pre warmed house. :)

Our favourite accommodation of our NZ trip, everything was excellent! I can't decide if my favourite feature was the super comfortable bed and linen, the heated bathroom floor or the sensor light for the bathroom! Carolyn was great with communication and very helpful. Highly recommended, we will definitely stay here if visiting this area again.

Ideal place for walking into Arrowtown, where restaurants and walking tracks only 20 mins walk. Beds were very comfortable and warm. Heat pump was always a winner on those cold mornings . So quiet, I didn’t know Laura was next door with her lovely family. Washer/dryer worked well. No one likes to wash coming home after holidays. Thx again Laura, I will be back next year! Heather
