Holiday rentals with lake access in Carpathian Mountains

A great place to stay with a great view. The last few meters of the approach were a bit more difficult, as it was no longer a real road, but a rocky path. Everything worked well, nonetheless. We really enjoyed the beautiful garden with sauna and whirlpool!

We enjoyed our meals while looking at stunning view from the balcony. Such a peaceful paradise. The place is lovely and cosy, fully stocked with everything we need. Both kids and adults enjoyed the swings outside the house. The house is well kept, modern decorated. Very suitable for family! We had a great time there and we wish could stay there longer. We fully recommend this place.

Gorgeous few days right on the water in beautiful Balaton. Very comfortable house and garden right on the lake. We enjoyed wading out in the lake with our child. The lake is very shallow (around 3ft) for over 100 meters so you can walk out very far on the mud/sand. I would definitely recommend renting/bringing Stand Up Paddle Boards or an inflatable boat so that you can get out to where the lake is deeper to swim. At the moment, these are not provided by the host. There had been a recent invasion of buzzing non-biting midges (Chironomidae/greenish insects) along the shores of Lake Balaton but they only really came out just after sunset and were fascinating to watch. Incredibly relaxing to wake up and have coffee on the dock. 5 star stay!

I rate the stay 5/5. Unreserved communication with your host. The cottage is clean, tidy, with fragrant bedding and towels. New equipment, wonderful view. The bathroom floor is heated, the fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere - perfect for rainy days or winter evenings, and the terrace overlooks the lake. A great starting point for trips to Solina, the dam, the gondola lift and also deep into the Bieszczady Mountains, which probably do not need to be presented to anyone - peace, quiet, beautiful views, nice people, delicious food. I recommend it to everyone! We were a family with 3 small children.

just go and try the old miners house. it is great place to stay for at least few days.

The accommodation is beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed arriving with the fireplace already lit. Additionally, to make it easier to find the cottage, the host had left the outdoor garland on. It helped us a lot at night. To easily find the accommodation, I recommend putting the GPS at the address indicated and then trusting the Airbnb map. The location in the heart of nature allows for real calm. Easy to park car in front of the house. Le Grizzli pizza restaurant is very good and nearby. A real favorite! I recommend it :)

I must say it was the best vacation we have ever booked through Airbnb. The private pond is very special, which we also used every day. In addition, there is a real pool. I also found the herd of sheep to the neighboring property, which you could pet. Furthermore, there are 4 cats on the property, so if you have children, there is always one to play. Very good Hungarian restaurants are nearby, which are great value for money. The hosts Susann, Othmar and Tibor are super nice, know each other and try to make everything possible. I recommend having a trip organized by carriage. Here you are guided by a local through forests and the children are even allowed to steer themselves. Overall, I highly recommend the hosts and the property.

If I could give a higher rating I would definitely do that. Peaceful, beautiful landscapes, direct access to water and dog friendly. Our dog felt immediately like at home. Amazing place to run away from city noises. Zsolt is a top notch host - responsive, friendly and made sure that our stay is excellent at any time. THANK YOU! Will definitely return. The cabin is even more beautiful than on the pictures! My husband and I felt enchanted as soon as we arrived. It is so private and peaceful, surrounded by trees and fields, in the middle of nature, with no other house or neighbor in sight. The place has everyone you might need for your stay. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. It’s obvious they put a lot of thoughts in their place to ensure a perfect vacay for their guests.

Beautiful place and neighborhood. Perfect for a short getaway to relax and “recharge” your batteries in the picturesque, quiet, and peaceful surroundings of a vineyard. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended to all wine lovers (and more)! 😊

We were a group of six people staying at Pavlinas Chalet and had a wonderful time there. The house is very cosy and furnished and decorated with love. Especially the garden and the nature around the house are incredible! Everything looks just like in the photos and even better. They even have a homemade outdoor playarea to play a game called russian skittles, a Czech game for which Pavlinas daughter was so kind and took the time to translate the rules for us. But the amazing service didn't stop there! They provided a delicious coffee from a small local roastery. All in all a perfect vacation in a beautiful place with super friendly hosts. We can only recommend a visit!
