House holiday rentals in Carroll County

This BnB is in contention for my FAVORITE stay of all time. Family of 6 adults and 1 child had more than enough space, and Jeanne really made our stay effortless. We felt right at home and we didn't have to make that last minute trip to the store you sometimes have to make bc the host skimped on providing toilet paper or dish soap, because she honestly thought of EVERYTHING ❤️ My granddaughter loved the pool and dips in the hot tub after swimsmade the adults happy. The location and view are to die for, and the two pups were ecstatic playing in the large fenced area. We spent a lot of time outside, plenty of furniture, fire pit, just eating dinner on the deck. (Missing NOTHING in the kitchen either!) Our last night we spent sitting and talking on the deck trying to identify the multitude of frog voices from the pond, before we parted ways to our various home states. I am most grateful for memories made and we are definitely considering a repeat! ❤️Thank you!

We really enjoyed the stay at your farm house while we attended the Civil War Institute at Gettysburg College. The place was clean and comfortable. The hosts were always quick in replying. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks again for everything!

Our experience at the Wizards Escape was amazing! Nate, our host, was the best. He checked in to make sure that we were getting the best experience out of the house. The atmosphere is unreal! We really felt we were at Hogwarts Castle. The bedrooms are so full of detail. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could imagine. The Great Hall is magical! The escape rooms.. fantastic. We only stayed 2 days but tried to get in all the activities that were available. We played quidditch golf, did escape rooms, had a scavenger hunt, made great meals in the Weasley's kitchen. We had dinner in the Great Hall under the levitating candles while listening to the Harry Potter music in the background. This house is a home to be experienced. We are definitely coming back!

We had a fantastic stay! The photos don’t do it justice. Very spacious and full of character. It comfortably fit our group of 6 adults and 5 kids, with plenty of room to spread out. In town for a wedding and quick day trip to DC, the location couldn't have been more perfect. Check-in was a breeze with the keypad, and we appreciated having three dedicated parking spots. The pool and hot tub were a big hit, though the weather was a bit chilly and the hot tub didn’t get as warm as we would have liked, but the host let us know they're working on it. I was worried the nearby train noise would be a problem, but not noticeable with no horns overnight. Everyone in the group kept saying this was the best airbnb we've ever stayed at and would absolutely stay here again!

This home was the perfect place to celebrate my daughter’s graduation! We had family travel in from several states, and everyone felt comfortable and truly enjoyed the spacious layout. It was a bit too chilly to use the pool, but I’m already looking forward to booking this home again. I’ll definitely be a repeat renter!

Really great house for multiple families. There was plenty of space and lots for the kids to do. It was close to town also which was very convenient.

We had a wonderful family reunion here with 3 generations. Each family had their own private space but there was tons to do on the property together as well. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and made sure we were comfortable and happy! We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked, too.

This home was spotlessly clean and looks just like the photos. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room and seating for watching movies. The showers and bathrooms were great, and it was nice to be able to do laundry. We used the pool towels provided. The kitchen was stocked with basic items - there is a keurig coffee pot only and they provide pods which was nice. A few things we didn’t realize: the driveway is very steep and we scraped our van trying to go down the first time - you need to go in at a certain angle. The noise alarms are very sensitive and it went off when we were watching a family movie, and we had to answer a text from Tanya. This was honestly a bit annoying. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub! When the jets were turned on, the hot tub become filled with much foam from all the chlorine so we didn’t turn the jets on anymore. We hiked from the house into the state park and did a 5 mile loop, which was very convenient.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Daniel's place. it was clean and safe with everything you could want. He was very helpful and responsive during my stay and he communicated well with anything I had a question about. I would definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area. Overall great place

This place was amazing, beautiful and very spacious. Met and exceeded our needs and expectations. My suggestion is, if possible, a cyber lock be installed on the main entrance door. Since this has been mentioned in multiple reviews I'm assuming there's some reason it hasn't been done. Only one complaint, which has also been mentioned in previous reviews, so it was no surprise... the carpet. It was not clean. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. Will also recommend.

Cheryl's place was fabulous. It was the freshest smelling Airbnb I have ever stayed in. She made us cinnamon rolls, it felt like visiting your favorite grandmother. The surrounding area was serene and peaceful. I highly recommend this Airbnb.

If you’re looking for a getaway, that’s 20 minutes from a quaint downtown and historic venue, but nestled in the country with large open pastures and beautiful scenery. I would recommend staying at this home.

This farmhouse lived up to its name! A quaint old house, modernized for livability in a picturesque setting, gave us a great place to relax and recover after long days of training. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to the last detail. The only thing to watch out for was lower ceilings than expected. But great place with lots of character!

Joyce has a very nice cottage that we love staying at. Close to Stevenson University where the Mustang Classic Lacrosse event is hosted. She was very responsive to our needs once we were in the house.

Wonderful place, tucked back off the main street with privacy. Clean and loaded with amenities. Games, extra bedding, a pack n play, this was perfect for my family of 8 adults and 2 littles ( 1 & 3) Well stocked kitchen even had spices! Plenty of towels and the host provided shampoo and soap. Beds were comfortable, and we loved the sofa - all 10 of us fit to watch a movie! Huge outside deck - we had a pizza party outside and a fire for smore's in the lovely fire pit. We walked to downtown several times. The shops are all so different we found lots of treasures. My grandson's loved the bookstore. We also visited the firehouse creamery 3X for delicious ice cream. We had dinner a fabulous dinner one night at Becks. We got our morning coffee from the French twist. All short easy walks from the farmhouse. We spend a day at the Baltimore zoo only 35 minutes aways. This is a perfect place and location for a large family . We loved it :) highly recommended!

It was a lovely stay! Would definitely book here again for our next trip to the Baltimore area. The deer in the yard each evening were something out of a story book! And it was great to have a private driveway — much harder to find in the city center. It’s a no shoes home — remember to pack your slippers :) Emily is incredibly kind and responds quickly to questions!

This is an amazing home. So quiet and peaceful with all the right touches. We can’t wait to stay again. Jules goes above and beyond to create a space that makes you feel like real guests and not just a customer.

Such an amazing home. We truly enjoyed our stay. So well stocked with amenities and items we needed throughout the weekend. The space was private which we enjoyed but not too far away from local things like Dunkin or stores nearby. Thank you so much for letting us use your space. Would definitely stay again!

Aurora was amazing she was very responsive and treated our children like her own while we stayed with her the home was very clean and I would definitely stay again the scenery is beautiful and everyone we met while staying there were helpful and. courteous. Just be aware of spiders and other insects.

Duane and Matt were absolutely wonderful hosts! They helped make our quick weekend getaway truly unforgettable. Every amenity at the property was thoughtfully provided, and our daughters enjoyed every bit of it. Even while traveling internationally, Duane remained incredibly attentive and responsive, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. One of the highlights for our girls was getting to meet a baby sheep—such a thoughtful and special touch! They were especially taken with little Pinky Pie and are still talking about her.
