Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Carshalton

Dave is a lovely host. He prepared a welcome treat. Very communicative and supportive. Easy to reach in case of a question. Everything was as explained and what I needed for a comfortable stay. The house was nicely decorated. The kitchen was well equipped (s pity I did not have time for cooking). It was in walking distance to the station, bus, supermarkets, shopping and restaurants as well as to the Thames and park. Thank you! I would book that again.

Richard est un hôte exceptionnel. Il nous a accueillis de manière très chaleureuse dans sa magnifique ferme. La pièce principale est absolument superbe et la maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Il y a de nombreuses balades à faire dans l’environnement proche au milieu de la campagne anglaise, tout en ayant la possibilité d’accéder assez rapidement à des restaurants. C’est un endroit magique que je recommande à toute personne qui viendrait séjourner à Dorking. Par ailleurs, il est facile d’accéder à Londres par le train tout en bénéficiant d’un environnement de rêve. Un grand merci à Richard ainsi qu’à sa famille.

What a fabulous couple of days we have had at Aimee's place! Aimee was wonderful to deal with, answering any questions in super quick time and so very friendly on meeting us. Such a unique place to stay - absolutely love the way Aimee has done her beautiful home up - we felt so comfy and so enjoyed the boat trips, visits from the gorgeous geese and swans, cats and meeting lovely Bob next door. We felt gutted that we only had a couple of days of our trip left - as would have loved to stay longer and explore more of the area. How lucky are we that Aimee shares her adorable place with us!!! Amazing stay! Highly recommend, we had a great time. Great for kids, our daughter loved the toys and record player. Accessible to most things walking or public transit. We had a car and had to street park which ended up being no big deal. 10/10 would stay again!

We can’t say thank you enough to Hamish and his family for letting us stay in their beautiful home. Area was quiet and close to a park that my daughter and I loved walking to.

A great house, open plan, light and a stunning outdoor area with views across the countryside. Perfect weekend away with a group of friends. Close to Denbies Vineyard, which was worth the visit on a sunny day. Would recommend for any group looking for a space to relax and entertain.

Wir haben uns von Anfang an in dieser sehr schönen Wohnung wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation verlief zuverlässig und schnell. Wir hatten leider nicht gelesen, dass es eine Katze in der Wohnung gibt, aber auch damit sind wir sehr gut zurecht gekommen, sie ist eine äußerst freundliche Katze. Es ist alles sehr gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Wir können diese Wohnung zu 100% weiter empfehlen. Herzlichen Dank für die gute Zeit bei euch!

This is a lovely home, restored beautifully and very well loved and taken care of. There is so much beauty inside. Our family enjoyed the space, the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. It truly felt like a home away from home. Our kids felt right at home and really enjoyed the foosball table. The kitchen is fully equipped and two washing machines was an added bonus for us. The location is walkable to trains that can take you down to the heart of central London. We enjoyed the quiet respite of a home outside of the bustling city after our long days sightseeing. Thank you for a memorable holiday.

Amazing London flat! BEST check in (with John) we’ve ever had at Airbnbs- he is amazing & u will want him to stay & socialize after he aptly explains home features & mini instructions! Public transit is close & walkable from flat which is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood Highly recommend staying here if you want to explore London!

Shane's flat at Notting Hill was perfect for my family's first trip to London. Perfect location. Very easy to walk to restaurants and the Tube Station. Shane was super easy to communicate with... although we did not need anything as our flat had everything for a week's stay. I would highly recommend the flat to anyone who wants to stay in one of the prettiest areas of London.

A lovely little apartment in a handy location. The area is nice with plenty of local pubs and restaurants, and it’s only a 15 min walk to Kew. The apartment was well equipped and very nicely furnished and decorated. The option of parking is also very useful! The host was super-helpful and sent a really great guide to the apartment with lots of local information and recommendations.

I could not recommend this stylish home enough. Homely, chic and charming where we immediately knew we were going to enjoy our week of stay upon entering. Little touches like fresh flowers in crystal vases added a welcome ambience. Co host Yvonne went well and above to ensure that we had a fabulous, relaxing stay and met us upon check in which we were grateful for. The private courtyard was a pleasure to use and an oasis after full days of explorations. The antique furniture pieces mixed with beautiful art pieces ensures this is one memorable home to enjoy. In close proximity to the Sloane Square tube and Chelsea High St means that that this home is worth every cent. I can truly recommend staying here and hope to return one day.

Fantastic, stylish and artistic home. The space is peaceful and relaxing. Courtyard is perfect for enjoying a cuppa in the morning air. James even went to the trouble of booking parking for us at a very reasonable price. Great park at the end of the road for dog walks and canal is just over the road for lovely strolls. A range of shops and eateries on the doorstep. One of the most comfortable stays we’ve had.

This apartment was wonderful. Very clean and quiet!! We enjoyed the quiet street and the lovely neighborhood very much. The apartment was very close to a grocery store, restaurants, and the trains! We were able to check in early which we really appreciated because our cruise ship arrived in a Southampton very early. I definitely want to come back to London and will stay here again. We didn’t drink the free bottle of wine but appreciated the gesture. We actually planned to but by the time we got back to the apartment each night we were full! Thank you Mary Ann and Dal for your hospitality!

Notting Hill Glow was exactly as described. On a busy street, but wooden bedroom doors filter almost all of the nighttime noise. Not having air conditioning was not an issue for us as daytime highs were under 80 degrees and nighttime was cooler, but I can imagine it could be uncomfortable if temperatures reached the 90s. We were able to walk to several great restaurants and pubs. Comfortable bed.

Alan's Penthouse was superb. We had a really comfortable stay. We appreciated the decor and the finish was to such a high standard. The garden is a real plus and beautiful to look out in to from the apartment. The kids enjoyed playing table tennis and having the space to let out some steam. Parking was secure and getting to the train station was a pleasant walk and only 10 minutes. The trains were frequent in to London Bridge and Waterloo. There are plenty of amenities along the high street. The hosts answered any queries. Very happy with our stay.

Afsoon was a phenomenal host. Super warm, helpful, considerate with a heart of gold. Her food was incredible. I highly recommend the 3 course meal and her delicious chocolates! The house was immaculate and beautiful, perfect for my time in Windsor.

Great place to stay near Canary Wharf! The home itself is beautiful, spacious and clean. The hot tub and sauna are luxurious and a fun treat! Kitchen is fairly well stocked and easy to cook in. A/C worked great. Washer/dryer combo machine is nice to have as well. There is a small market across the street which makes getting groceries super easy. The bus stops right in front of the house for easy transport to Canary Wharf or anywhere in the city. Great transportation connections via DLR as well. Greenwich is an easy walk and a wonderful way to spend a day. All in all a fantastic place to stay! Thanks for making it a great place for our family!

Little Rock was the perfect place for our group of family and friends to socialise and relax. The building is modern and in great condition. I'd highly recommend this for large groups or families who want peace and serenity, with all the comforts of home.

A beautiful English house at the countryside from Sussex. The “backyard” is Ashdownforest, a beautiful green wide and open Forest. Annemette was a very friendly and helpfull host, we felt very at Home!

We had an amazing experience at Pauline house. The house is huge and could accomodate our extended family of 13 people for the weekend. The house has all the amenities required for your stay as this is the house they live in. The garden is wonderful and provided lots of spaces for my children to play cricket and football. It is very well located as the high street is just a few minutes walk away. Pauline was very responsive with my queries before our visit and her son was in the summer house during our stay and was able to address all the questions we had. We had a memorable experience celebrating our 40th birthday with our family and I would recommend the place to anyone looking for a wonderful house to stay in Sevenoaks.

Ingram House is a beautiful house with an amazing, beautiful garden.We had a wonderful stay.Antonio responded to all messages quickly but the star of the check in/communication whilst there was Shirley the wonderful housekeeper.Such a lovely lady, who made contact before we arrived to confirm all details, meet us for check in and check out and responded to any queries during our weekend.The house has 5 bedrooms/2bathrooms upstairs and 1 bathroom plus additional toilet downstairs. A great kitchen,a lounge with seating for everyone plus a delightful dining room. To us the best place was the garden. At least 5 different ‘spaces’ to sit with tables and chairs, a great BBQ area by the kitchen, its just a beautiful, relaxing garden where we sat and enjoyed the afternoon (we were lucky with the weather). The only slight downside to us was the road noise. The windows at the front of the house have secondary double glazing which helps to reduce the noise. We would happily stay there again

Julia’s place is spacious, beautiful, clean and an easy commute for us due to the Elizabeth line train station less than 5 mins walk from the house. Julia was responsive for any questions and we will definitely book again when visiting London.
