Granary House Arouca

Imagine falling asleep to the sound of a rushing river and waking up with the chirping of birds and sights to an opulent green landscape. The architecture could become secondary, had it not been so thoroughly designed. Located in Arouca, Portugal, the Granary House was a labor of love and was the result of a rare opportunity to realise an absolutely special and unique project: a sumptuous green terrain overlooking a river, which becomes the perfect setting to relax and enjoy nature.

Vitó's House

Casa do Vitó, of traditional architecture, is located in the village of Paços, parish of Souselo in the municipality of Cinfães, in a rural cluster next to EN222, a mythical road in our country. In the surrounding area, you can take nature hikes, tours along the Douro and Paiva rivers, visit the Paiva Walkways or discover the charms of the Magic Mountains. You will be welcomed by the host Vitó who, being local and knowing the area, will help you discover the region's charms.

This space has just been renovated and we have built a small kitchen where you can cook and make breakfast, including a small dining area. Relax in this unique and peaceful getaway, 1.8 km from the city centre of Porto, next to the Douro River and the Port Wine cellars. You can enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city while resting and relaxing in a forest. You can walk along the river to Porto, or you can stroll through the grounds of the house in a small private forest.

Javalina is a romantic stone house surrounded by nature and lots of fresh air. Start your day with a delicious breakfast while the birds are singing, relax in the afternoon with a book in the shade of a large tree, and end your evening with a glass of wine and deep conversations. In an area classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on the Douro riverside , Art Douro is born in the building that was once the old Porto Alcohol Distillery, originally built during the 19th century to produce brandy. From the Apartment you are able to perceive Porto's history along with an amazing panoramic view that extends from the riverside to the historic city center.
