The Barragem do Cabril, with an outdoor pizza restaurant (summer) and two well known river beaches are in close proximity. There is a local cafe and mini-market about 300 metres from Chale Pomba.

This unique property has an entirely private style characterized by the use of natural materials. The cottage is at a sufficient distance from the main house to offer full privacy. The entrance is on the patio, but the private terrace is located at the back where there is also a path that gives access to the pool. This path is only used by the tenants of the casinha.

Canoeing is possible a few kilometers away. The apartment is next to our own home but with complete privacy. Access is separate from main house.
