A deluxe shepherd's hut and a chalet, each with one double bed, in the grounds of our house with lovely views of the garden. If you are two travellers but require both the hut and the chalet please book for 3 guests. If you are a party of 3 or 4 people, our third and fourth guests will stay in our chalet just a few steps away which accommodates up to two people in a double bed. It is an ideal rural getaway within walking distance of two excellent pubs and a small farm shop. Please come and stay!

HAPPY ON THE HILL, JAKE'S CABIN, NEAR BRUTON

Jake’s Cabin is tucked away in one of the most magical secluded locations in Somerset. Waking to birdsong and with views of undulating hillside and meadows, it provides closeness to nature that melts away the strains of busy lives. Built from local cedar and larch and using only eco friendly and re-cycled materials, this beautifully crafted retreat can be found in a sunny clearing, and protected from the elements by the old oak and hazelnut trees that cast dappled light over its living roof.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

The Green Hut: A haven of peace and tranquility

The Green Hut is a cosy but luxurious getaway in the walker's paradise of in Batcombe, situated just behind our converted barn in a tree-lined paddock. This self-contained shepherd's hut is perfect for one or two people to immerse themselves in true rural relaxation, whilst being close to the beautiful market towns of Frome and Bruton. Whether sat outside soaking up the views in the sunshine, or snuggled up by the wood burner on a rainy day, The Green Hut is the ideal place to unwind.

Period House - short walk to town centre.

This two bedroom period house has been recently refurbished. It has en suite toilets to both bedrooms and a downstairs bathroom with separate bath and shower. There are two living rooms and a large fitted kitchen. There is no garden but a small outside sitting area. The house is two minutes walk of our local pub which provides good value food and drink. Castle Cary's attractive town centre with its many historic buildings is an eight minute walk. Street parking with no restrictions.

Situated in a quiet street in the Conservation area of the town Wincanton with its eclectic mix of independent shops and pubs, Mill Street Cottage is the perfect retreat to unwind. Situated in a delightfully rural village on a working farm, the Seed House has been tastefully converted with oak beams and brick and stone features. Easy access to many famous attractions, such as Stourhead (NT) and The Newt in Somerset. Excellent pub in village. On site there are 3 well stocked coarse fishing lakes (Higher Farm Fishery) available - free fishing for one guest during their stay. Well behaved dogs welcome. Off road parking.
