Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Castlemaine

We loved our stay at the barn , this is such a cosy space. Perfect in winter by the fireplace. We loved all the art decor and musical instruments in the barn, such an inviting place. We really enjoyed the chilled out nights by the fire playing board games. Sarah was great with communications and check in instructions. We would Definately stay again

We really enjoyed our stay at Maree’s place! It was a cute and cozy house—perfect for a peaceful bush getaway. The property was very quiet, and we loved the surprise of seeing kangaroos roaming around each day. It’s only about 20 minutes from Bendigo CBD, which made for an easy day trip. We loved our stay here. The house is gorgeous and was perfect for an autumn getaway in the country. Elizabeth has thought of everything; from the decorations and styling of the house to the thoughtful breakfast provided. We loved sitting by the fire playing board games and seeing the cows and sheep roaming past. The beds were so comfy and well equipped for a cold night. We would love to come back here and would recommend it to everyone. Elizabeth was easy to communicate with and very accomodating and kind.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this peaceful and unique property. The quietness of the surroundings made for a relaxing getaway, and staying in the converted bus was a novel and comfortable experience. The place was warm and well-equipped with everything we needed, including a full range of kitchen utensils. The pool table and table tennis provided great entertainment. A small note for future guests – as the area is very tranquil, it is best to be mindful of noise to respect the neighbours. Overall, a lovely and memorable stay.

EVR was the perfect location to explore Daylesford and the surrounding areas, close to town and easy to find. Plenty of firewood to keep us warm for our stay, having the heater turned on prior to our late arrival was a very welcome added bonus! Harry provided lots of local info on attractions and restaurants making planning our trip much easier.

We had a wonderful stay at Cedar Rise Farm - "Hanging Rock House" Thank you to Mary for for the opportunity to stay in your lovely property. We were so warm and comfortable and all wished we had been able to stay longer. It is fabulously appointed and perfect to relax in. Everything you could possibly wish for in terms of amenities was available for our use and the open fire completed the ambience. Excellent communication ensured our total relaxation right from making the booking.

We really enjoyed staying here. It’s a beautiful and characterful home set in nature. Lots of lovely walks nearby and great coffee shops in town.

My experience with the hosts was excellent and the property was even more beautiful than the photos. The house was huge and everything you could possibly need and want was provided. We arrived to a roaring fire, a fridge stocked with generous breakfast provisions and a freshly baked cake which was a lovely touch. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable and a phone charger provided which was great as I’d forgotten mine! I would highly recommend the property and will definitely be back. We had a fabulous stay at Sailors Falls Estate! Margaret and Robert were so helpful and the villa was very comfortable. We found the nearby Daylesford attractions easy to get to but also enjoyed relaxing at the villa with a lovely wine from the cellar door!

I loved Renee and Izy’s place. Perfect location (short walk onto the Main Street, and up to the Convent). The heating was great, the bed was comfy. Thanks so much.

Hepburn springs and surrounding area are generally expensive but this accommodation was very reasonably priced.Unfortunately most of Hepburn Springs is either up for sale or closed down but Daylesford is only 5 minutes away by car and theres plenty to see or do there.

My wife and I walked into this beautiful, spacious apartment and both went “wow!”. Spotlessly clean and tidy, beautifully renovated and decorated and so comfortable and cosy. We stayed for the weekend of the Ballarat Marathon for which it was in a perfect location to walk to the start line with ease. A beautiful cafe 100m away was perfect for us as was an easy walk to the shopping precinct. This place is perfect in every way and I would not hesitate to recommend it or book it again.

The whole process from check in to check out was easy and seamless with clear instructions. It's a fantastic apartment in Caroline Springs and everything you need is within walking distance. The apartment was cosy, very spacious and has an immaculate kitchen and bathroom. Nice outlook from the large balcony and the pinball machine and soccer foosball table were great fun. Great place to stay...

Ellen was the perfect host super lovely with great communication. Ellen’s place was also fantastic we loved the location right on town easy walking everywhere. Her apartment was super cosy comfortable and clean we loved it!! Thanks for having us we will be back

Can't express enough my gratitude how amazing it was to stay in Baleno and It was just what we needed! Can't thank enough Dayget for there hospitality and just being there when need! Don't want to ramble on too much but just can't say enough good things about this place. It was worth driving over from South Australia for my 25th with my partner! Can't wait to come back again!

What a lovely find this place was. Spotlessly clean, great beds and showers away from the Daylesford crowds. Nicely equipped and private, enjoyed the view from the balcony immensely.

Absolutely loved our spa weekend stay, so many thoughtful touches, from the quality bed linen and towels, gorgeous toiletries, great record collection, book of well thought out information about the area, places to eat, visit etc. there was even bird food for the native birds which you could hear and see from the well set up outdoor area. It truly felt like you were at home, they really have thought of everything to help their guests enjoy their stay, we will definitely return 😊 too many personal touches to mention but we fully recommend this lovely home.

Spent 2 nights La Boheme. We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is in the middle of nature with plenty of wildlife. The highlight was definitely the regular kangaroos bouncy past the house. The location is perfect with plenty to do and plenty to see.

House was clean and tidy, had a really nice warmth as soon as you walked in the front door. Amber was super easy to communicate with and allowed us to check in early upon request which was awesome, and we appreciated a lot! Spa was great to be in on a cold night with a full view of the stars in the sky. Our favourite part of the whole house had to be the couch in the living area, it was so comfortable we wanted to take it home with us. Really had a fantastic time, would come back again definitely.

Our stay at the Vicarage was absolute perfection. From the moment we arrived—lights on, music playing—we felt instantly relaxed. The home is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and charm and Dean is an incredibly thoughtful host. The fires were set, the hot tub was ready, and a generous selection of provisions welcomed us. There were no tedious rules, just an open invitation to unwind and enjoy. The gardens were gorgeous too with plenty of quiet spots to enjoy a book or a cuppa, and Sammy the cat made us feel right at home. Every detail was focused on comfort and ease. We (reluctantly!) left feeling refreshed and are already dreaming of coming back. Thanks Dean for an unforgettable stay, you have truly perfected the art of hosting.
