“This place is amazing. Close to Wellington and such the best place to escape from the city with your lovey 😝. We came in the winter and the room is really warm. We didnt even get to use the heater. Alex provided a 'DIY" hot chocolate. And I'm not lying it was the best one I ever tasted. I def recommend it to everyone who wants to have a night escape from Wellington. Alex is an awesome host; gave a very easy instruction on how to get there (you will lose gps connection on the way there), quick to reply whn I contacted him on how to use the power plug in the room. Thanks Alex, we had such an awesome time, in the end the weather also turned out good”
The Lodge at Castlepoint is located high on the hill above Castlepoint beach within walking distance of the lighthouse, lagoon, local store and Castle Rock. Enjoy the beautiful gardens surrounding the property before heading down to the beach for a swim or surf. At the end of the day, as the sun goes down, crack open a cold one and enjoy a BBQ dinner on your own private deck before clambering into the spa pool to practice some star-gazing.
