We had an incredible stay at Waterfall Drive, Wongawallan. The property is an absolute haven — tucked away in the scenic Gold Coast hinterland, yet still close enough to shops and coastal attractions. The home itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and designed to make the most of the surrounding natural beauty. Waking up each morning to the sounds of nature and expansive views of the rolling hills was a true highlight. The outdoor areas are stunning, perfect for relaxing with a coffee or wine, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it feel like your own private retreat. Inside, the layout is both functional and luxurious — ideal for families or couples looking for space, comfort, and privacy. The kitchen was well-equiped.

Matt’s property is amazing! The house is very spacious and has everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Being right on the water is delightful, the kayaks and SUPs are great fun. Unfortunately it was too cold for us to try the pool but it looked fantastic. Stayed with our two small children and there was lots to keep them entertained, and everything we needed for an easy stay with toddlers. Thanks again Matt!

Amazing place! Doug and Deb's place is peaceful and comfortable. It is close to restaurants at Kingscliff and Casuarina or has everything you'd ever need to cook for yourself - we did a mix of both. The house is very welcoming and the beds very comfortable. There is a lovely walk to the beach and 2 cafes and there is also a dog friendly beach about 15-20 minutes' walk in the other direction. Don't miss Cubby cafe at Chinderah - a very short drive away. Go early to get a blueberry and lemon curd muffin - they're all gone by about 11am. All in all, we had a wonderful, relaxed 9 nights and highly recommend the house and its location.

Our family had a great stay in this very tranquil and beautiful location. The house was the perfect walking distance to everything in Byron, we will be back for sure. Alex and Edwina were very accommodating.

Staying at Karen’s place was an absolute pleasure. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and sparkling clean, and Karen was always available to answer our questions. Highly recommended!

We found this place very well presented, with everything you could want to make your stay comfortable from laundry to kitchen and relaxing in the lounge or on the front porch.

We had such a wonderful stay at Annekes place! All generations were happy from a teenager to his elderly grandparents. We loved watching the world go by on the back deck and especially the visits from the local feathered friends!

Sweetwater cottage is the perfect place to stay in Upper Burringbar set amongst the trees with the creek running beside the cottage . Always great to come back to after a day out , a truly tranquil location . Was very comfortable and a bonus to have the fire for the cooler nights . Robert and Gaily were very pleasant and helpful hosts. Will miss this place but have lovely memories of our time spent there .

Fantastic place, spacious, clean and great outdoor decking and pool areas. House has all needed amenities including good laundry and is very private. Access was easy and plenty of parking available. Perfect for families. Location is 3 mins from Benowa Village shopping centre which is very convenient. Support and communication from Janett was also great. We had a wonderful stay!

We had the most amazing stay at Karen & Antony’s stunning home ! It is absolutely beautiful. Very spacious and ultra clean and tidy, we loved the decor and the most fabulous views WOW ! The bed was very comfy with a great shower and kitchen. Karen & Antony are wonderful hosts, very kind, friendly, helpful and lovely to chat to we wished we could have stayed longer. Set in the perfect location we didn’t have a car and were able to visit Surfers Paradise & Paradise Point by bus very easily and the local supermarket is only 5 minutes walk. We also walked to pretty Labrador to see the fabulous pelicans being fed which is a daily ritual at 1.30 pm. We would not hesitate to recommend this very special home thank you so much for looking after us Sarah & Martin x

Our stay was amazing!! The location was very central to everything and came with a bit of noise - as expected when you are in the heart of everything. Oxy’s communication was five star all the way!! The beds were comfortable, pillows great, kitchen well equipped and plenty of basic supplies to see us through. I would highly recommend and would stay again. Just to note the car park was a bit tight but certainly manageable. We had an SUV and just had to be careful when parking. Thanks for the Tim Tams too!

What an amazing find! Kate was a wonderful host — she waited for us even though we arrived late at night, and took the time to walk us through the property and point out all the important details. We all had a very comfortable stay and especially enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space. My furbaby had a great time too, especially with the lovely company of another friendly dog! Hilary and Ian's gorgeous place is an absolute delight. We were so lucky to have found it. It is peaceful - yet so close to all the action of Byron Bay. The house is even better than shown in the photos. The pool is wonderful and my grandson loved swimming in the warm water. Thank you Hilary and Ian for allowing us to enjoy your gorgeous little hide-away - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

Had an amazing stay at Jay’s pool house. Such a perfect place for a getaway. Super cosy and relaxing, minyon falls is just up the road and there’s everything you could possibly need in the house. Would highly recommend staying here!!

Lovely location that is very peaceful.

We had a fabulous stay at John and Nicky's. The cottage charming and inviting and was fully equipped with everything you need and more. The views were spectacular and John and Nicky were the most friendliest hosts. Nicky even drove us to a wedding down the road, they were both so lovely.

We had a lovely stay at Sue’s unit, such an awesome spot, so close to the beach. Very quiet complex, clean and tidy unit, has everything you need! Even better that we were able to take our fur baby with us. Highly recommend!!

We had such a lovely getaway for my best friends birthday! Julia was always easy to get hold of if needed and was lovely! A great location, very clean and beautiful home. Perfect amount of space and facilities for a weekend away with friends. We would definitely book again 😊

An ideal spot for an extended family getaway right next to the beach. Spacious and well furnished house in close proximity to shops, cafes etc. Will definitely consider staying again. The beach towels provided were appreciated and a nice touch.

This was the perfect location for a relaxing girls weekend! The chapel was unique and cute while also being incredibly clean! It was very spacious and had literally everything you need from an Airbnb plus more. So many thoughtful touches like the Prosecco, treats and fresh juice etc! We really didn’t have to search for anything or go out and buy anything that wasn’t provided which really stood out to us. The indoor fireplace was perfect to cosy in front of and gave such a wholesome vibe to the place. Surrounding the chapel is stunning grounds with lots of beautiful photo backdrops. The main thing we loved though was the massive duck pond. We spent most of the time there just relaxing and watching all the different types of birds and spotted a turtle too. It was absolutely adorable watching the ducks all run down to the pond both mornings we were there! Jacqueline and Bella have been great with communication and super friendly before and during our stay. I hope to stay again!

Great place. Compact but pleasant, with all the necessities. We found Mullum a great base to enjoy the region as well as a nice town in its own right. The house is a very short walk to the main shopping strip. There was a bit of traffic noise during the day but not at night. Would happily stay again.
