Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Catawba County

Austin was a fabulous host. He invited us to check in early. He was quick to respond with a repair and recommendations. The lake is absolutely gorgeous and the local hiking was easy and fun. The house was so inviting and comfortable that we cooked in and relaxed on the porch in the mornings and evenings. The hot tub was a great way to wind down followed by a movie on the giant TV! Don’t miss this great Great Lake house!

Lisa was a very responsive host and we appreciate that the property is dog friendly! The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items for our stay and the bathrooms were pristine. It's a new home, so everything is spotless and comfortable. The host lives on site, but we barely heard them while we were staying there.

Great place, clean, seems like it was recently renovated. Beds were comfortable and was the perfect spot for our visit.

Beautiful home with beautiful exterior. I had an internet problem and they swiftly fixed it.

The space was great, host was flexible with me needing to check out earlier than I had originally scheduled. I would definitely recommend this space. Wasn’t over priced at all.

Wow, what a location right by the lake! We absolutely loved this accommodation. its tastefully decorated, calm, peaceful and private. the living space is sociable and the front porch allows you to enjoy the view of the lake, the birds and just the wonderful peaceful atmosphere. there are kyaks and paddle boards and a beautiful dining area on the jetty. Comfortable beds, pretty linen, great bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen make it feel top end. Clearly this place is loved by the owner and we recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil stay. we came to Charlotte for the Speedway but we're so happy we got out of town to explore the countryside and enjoy Lake Norman. Downtown Moorseville is about 20 mins away and was a lovely place for a bit if shopping and some nice coffee ☕️ Thank you Patricia. we highly recommend your beautiful place at Tranquility Cove x

Karen was helpful in sending recommendations and communication regarding the impact of Helene on the area. Always answered questions and put us at ease. The suite was beautiful and the amenities were nice and the views were great. Instructions were helpful. I would highly recommend this suite

Overall great stay!! Place itself was excellent however wish there was more going on in the surrounding town.

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. We had stayed here previously. This time we found it to be just as nice as the first time. The place was clean and comfortable and the fact that the local restaurants & brewery are walkable is fantastic. We will be back next year.

Great place beautiful property

I’m just speechless about this place. It was absolutely stunning. It was so interesting to learn about the history of the village and explore the old houses and mill area. We also had Donovan as our tour guide the next day and he was absolutely amazing. 10/10. We WILL be back at some point!

This was place was just something else! The surroundings were astounding, and the home was very spacious. Not only that but you even get to be with a cat in there, the most gentle and calm cat I have ever met. I would absolutely recommend this house and would love to come back.

We had a blast at Lynne’s place! It is such a cozy home with fantastic Lake access. Very private and felt right at home immediately!

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway right on the water. The hosts were very responsive and equipped the house with everything you could need. They provided a fire pit, grill, kayaks, and canoes which were perfect activities given the weather. There are houses nearby but it still felt like we had our privacy. We would definitely rent this house again and come back to Lake Norman!

I want to say this place was so at home. I felt we were in cabin and being rural, at the same time so close to whatever we needed. the surrounding was absolutely breathtaking. The cabin was so clean and equipped. My son loved the fact he could stay in loft by himself, and still being close to us. we loved to hear birds, and rooster singing around and we also meet some locals and neighbors; very friendly. Robin and Jay were so kind when I needed to talk to them and John helped me to find the local event, even though we didn't go (we had so much fun just being at cabin). Overall we loved, loved it and loved it. Thank you Robin and Jay for creating such a lovely place to stay in; felt so at home. Sarah, Jay and Benjamin
