Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Catron County

We came to NM so my husband could go turkey hunting! It was the perfect location, the house was great for our family of 3 and our dog. So much natural light! Host was very responsive and helpful.

Lovely home in a great setting! We were just passing thru for the night but this would be an awesome place for a longer stay too. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home! It was peaceful, quiet and comfortable! We felt right at home, and the animals were the cherry on top! The whole family fell in love with Feisty!

Peaceful and Beautiful Log Cabin Getaway We had a wonderful three-day stay at this charming log cabin in the countryside. The place was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained. The peaceful surroundings and rustic charm made it the perfect escape from the city. We especially enjoyed the sunsets! Everything was well thought out. We’d definitely love to come back! The driveway was a little too sandy for our Harley, so Raine let us use their Jeep ,to go up and down the Driveway!perfect twist!

Raine and company treated me like family and when I was in a bind on the day of my departure they went above and beyond to get me the local help needed to get me on my way. There are no better hosts.

What a magical place……in the whole sense of the word….already decided to go back. Plenty of places to explore and hike in this southwest region. Night sky…..amazing! The cabin was one of the highlights of this trip. Totally cozy AND then some. Thanks a lot, Natalia…..will see you again.

Home was clean and comfortable and host was very responsive. Town was very quiet and saw lots of wildlife. Nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle for a while.

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway this is the place! Nice cabin with all you need to relax. We enjoyed our stay here. Place had everything you need to feel at home. Just need your groceries. Kitchen is fully equipped! If it is during winter early spring it is cold just keep in mind. Cabin has a nice fireplace and plenty of heaters and heating blankets to keep you warm and cozy! Near Gila National Forest unit 15 you can go explore. This cabin has such unique detail put into it you will love it. We will come back for sure!

This cabin was such a quaint cottage, super comfy, and on a beautiful ranch. We were visiting my brother and family in a remote area so this cottage was in a great location. We were welcomed by very friendly dogs, and the living space was exactly what we needed. It got pretty cold at night but the bed comforter and electric heater in the bathroom were a perfect additions to keep us cozy. We are thankful to find a place close enough that we just felt right at home. We will definitely stay here again (and bring a milk bone for our new furry friends).

If you’re ever in the area, passing through, or near the area you should certainly stay at Paul’s place! Beautiful location with a super cool cabin that’s had a ton of work put in to make it comfortable. Heard a bunch of elk bugling in the evening while sitting on the sweet little porch enjoying the ambiance of the outdoor lighting. Didn’t meet Paul, but communicating with him he just seemed like a down to earth dude sharing his sweet cabin with us. Which was a refreshing throwback to before Airbnb became mostly a platform for big business real estate investors running psuedo hotels. Regardless, stay here and you won’t be disappointed!

what a special place. i enjoyed the proximity to a few other dwellings, while still feeling all alone, my preference. the abundant wildlife, incredibly quick and easy access to quemado lake, and access to endless forest roads that lead you to God’s creations and wonders make this a spot I’d highly recommend. the cabin itself had everything and was very cozy, and the host is awesome. can’t wait to return promptly. grateful.
