House holiday rentals in Cavez

This place is an absolute gem. It is one of the nicest places we found in Portugal. The house is located in a small vineyard. Beds were comfortable. There’s a wood fired barbeque a great outdoor covered area and a beautiful infinity pool. Every morning we had fresh bread delivered to our doorstep. We picked lemons and oranges from around the house and had the host deliver us fruit. It was beautiful and quiet. The only negative is that we enjoy the place so much we did not visit any of the surrounding areas😊. If we had any questions, the host was response almost immediately with suggestions for places to go restaurants, markets. We had an excellent day and would return and stay there again anytime. It is definitely a 10 out of 10 definitely highly recommended.

After 5 nights spent in this beautiful place I had a hard time leaving it... I got depressed and cried so much this place is perfect, that's to say! In fact, if I could buy this property, I would do it without hesitation 💫 Honestly, I'm still shocked by this breathtaking view... whether you're in bed, on the terrace, in the hot bath or in the pool, it's just sublime, incredible, enchanting... I don't have enough adjectives to describe this place, all I know is that I would like to go back as soon as possible ✨️ PS: remember to buy something to make a fire for the barbecue and the brazier (with marshmallows)

We had a great stay, we will definitely go back. The house is extremely comfortable, beautiful and versatile, it gives both a warm and cold height. The location is perfect, both for those who want to know Gerês, and for those who just want to rest and enjoy the amenities of the house. Hands down the best Airbnb we have stayed at! The setting was idyllic - every window looked out over vineyards and fields, the house was immaculate, - comfortable and well-equipped, and the pool was perfect. We are already planning to go back as there is still so much more to explore in the area. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, providing everything we needed for a seamless stay. I couldn’t recommend it more.

As far as we are concerned, the accommodation gets 5 stars. The apartment is neat, has an extensive kitchen and a private roof terrace. In addition, we were allowed to use the communal garden and swimming pool. Everything was taken care of to the last detail. In addition, you can also walk to the underlying lake within a minute, where you can swim! The nature in the area is beautiful, but very remote. Porto is a 1.5 hour drive and is definitely worth a day trip. All in all, we would definitely recommend the accommodation for a week of recharging in nature. The host is also very nice, her father kindly welcomed us, there was a bottle of wine and cheese ready for us and later we got fresh eggs from their own chickens. Finally, he even washed our car just before departure. Really sweet!

This place is a dream! If you are coming to portugal this is the perfect little hideaway. Ana Maria made us feel right at home and everything was in perfect condition. We used to stay at Pena Park Hotel which is also great but now that we’ve found Ana Maria’s little heaven, we will look to return whenever we come back to visit my Avô again. Obrigada por tudo Ana! What an incredible place! This would have to be one of the best Airbnb I have stay at! It was absolutely stunning and had everything we needed. Daniela was the most incredible host. Not only did she give us incredible suggestions, she helped book a few things for us. She went out of her way constantly to make sure we were able to enjoy the area. She made our experience in the Duo Valley incredible and very memorable.

Beautifully furnished, clean house equipped with everything you need. The location is extremely quiet, so you have the feeling of being the only house in the area. The complex is very well maintained and the pool is large enough for swimming. Communication with Carla is uncomplicated and friendly, we always had the feeling that we could turn to her in case of problems. We enjoyed every second and there is nothing to complain about. If we choose Portugal again, the accommodation and Carla will be our first choice.

Wow! What a place. The moment you arrive, walk through the house and open the back door onto the balcony… it’s just breathtaking! The sound of birds is all you can hear and the views across the valley are beautiful. Aida was a perfect host, fabulous communication and the pleasure of meeting her on day 3. The accommodation is rustic, artistic, bohemian, relaxed and comforting. Everything you need in a holiday house, even a pool which was welcome in the scorching temperatures. Easy to find, the road to the village is not paved but didn’t prove a problem. If you want a place to get away from it all, this is it. Complete peace and quiet but there is still Wi-Fi if you need to keep in touch with the outside world! Will definitely recommend.

Great stay at this property. The area is beautiful, the place is peaceful we were able to enjoy a good barbecue and the pool with a great view 🤩 Clean and well-equipped accommodation, good bedding. Responsive host, we had good recommendations for restaurants and visit! We'll be back with pleasure next year for the WRC Rally of Portugal

Fantastic stay in Pedro's home from home, Pedro was very friendly and helpful, and the property was just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and a great location for us to explore the wonderful north of Portugal. Beautiful peaceful location in a traditional village with outstanding host who made us feel very welcome. Fábio was always on hand to help and organised a wine tour and lunch in a local restaurant for us which was absolutely fabulous - we never felt rushed and it was extremely interesting. Fábio has worked hard to make this a place with a personal touch. Have no hesitation in recommending this place and would love to come back again.

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.
