I have decided to rent out my personal farm house\ guest house to happy road trippers seeking solitude and a peaceful surrounding. The house is within a valley surrounded by 48 hectares of open land,beautiful mountain (cederberg) backdrops and a river with three natural swimming areas within walking distance of the guest house and the place include a 25m lap pool right in front of the veranda! Oh and plenty of clean breathable air :). There is one full sized bed so its best suited for couples.

Hunter House - Self Catering in Cederberg

The Hunter House is a private holiday home in the Cederberg that is surrounded by blossoms, flowers and Namaqualand daisies in the spring. Summer brings the sound of the sun beetles and fresh peaches next to your holiday home. The river on your doorstep so if you don't swim in it during the summer, you can see how it grows in the winter next to a fireplace as you hear it roar. Winter brings the snow on the beautiful hiking mountains. Guest farm campsite at main river. No Wifi. No towels.

Within walking distance from Taaibosch, Pink Valley and Avontuur Wine and stud farm. Just across the R44 Ken Forrester Wines is luring. For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

Moonrise Dome

The Moonrise Dome site is perched on a hill with panoramic views of the Witzenberg mountain range. Overlooking a private dam for swimming and the start of a hiking trail to a waterfall, guests can immerse themselves in the natural splendour that our farm has to offer. 

Red Fin Cottage

This cottage is fitted with 2 en-suite bedrooms with a double and queen bed. It offers a kitchenette equipped with a 2-burner gas stove, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, and a dining table. It also has braai facilities and stunning mountain views

Wilde Als

Wilde Als is a converted shipping container built into the Cape fynbos, surrounded by mountains, rivers and dams. An off grid, couples only retreat to relax and unwind and reconnect with nature and each other.
