Quiet country surroundings with so much natural beauty. Scandinavian-style modern interior the barn has two levels combining elements of comfort and light. This place is brand new (completed July 2017) and recently listed Category 1 heritage building (nationally important) right in Dunedin's warehouse precinct. It is only a short walk to the Octagon. They are warm, well insulated and have everything you need for both a short or longer stay. The kitchen has an ash wood bench, induction hob and a pyrolytic oven. The decor is all natural with woolen carpets, duvet, quality cotton sheets and pillows. Also within the apartment is a small laundry.

Very comfortable stay. Not a large unit but has all the comforts with a nice bed, a really nice (large) walk-in shower, an awesome electric reclining sofa/love-seat and it's quiet and cozy. It is directly below a residential home but you do not hear activity above and the driveway is convenient. I was especially impressed with the check-in process with photos marking exactly where to locate the key lockbox. Many places I've stayed I find the location to be obscure and often frustrating and difficult to extract the key. But not here! Very clear instructions and again, includes photos where the key is located. Thank you Henie for your positive communication, clear instructions, and overall welcoming experience. I hope to stay again when I'm next working in Dunedin. 😊

During our full-time travels we tend to seek out lodging that is unique, and the old converted Sunday school hall/now glasshouse was just that! Tessa is an exceptional host. We spent a wonderful evening with her learning about the transformation of this beautiful space. Furnishings are stylish and very comfortable. Location is in a quiet residential neighborhood, just a 5-10 minute drive to the St. Clair beach area, downtown Dunedin or the start of the scenic Otago Peninsula drive.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the wallpaper house in Dunedin. Just wished we had of stayed longer. Pamela and Reuben are great hosts. Ruben sorted out the tv for us and was very helpful. much appreciated. would definitely recommend this quirky arty studio. has everything you need , bed is so comfortable and the studio was lovely and warm. Would definitely love to return some time. many thanks from John and Pamela Jenkins loved it x
