Holiday houses in Cephalonia

We cannot recommend our stay at Villa Virginia highly enough, it was “perrrrfect”. Dimitra and Dionisis were excellent hosts, attentive but discreet. Very private, calm and relaxing with birdsong in the garden by the pool. The Villa has everything you will need, a very comfortable bed, lovely shower, lots of hot water. Kitchen is well equipped and there was a welcoming bonus of a starter pack of goodies. Definitely somewhere to return to. Thank You.

Where do we start? We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Gerasimos and Vasiliki. You were both incredible hosts and we loved the outstanding service. The villa itself is absolutely stunning! We arrived in the last week of Oct and there no tourists around! The peace and quiet was just so perfect! We loved the weather, the pool, the views! Everything! We drove from the airport and that took about 50 mins. We loved the gate entrance and the privacy it brought with it. We enjoyed seeing the beautiful sunrise every single morning from either the balcony and by the high chairs! Absolutely stunning views. We loved the cute gift basket! Places we visited were: Poros, Skala Beach, Sami, Myrtos Beach (sunset is beautiful) and Argostoli. We highly recommend this villa to all! And we look forward to returning with our family again! A sparkling Gem! Fabulous villa, clean, tastefully decorated , comfortable. Had absolutely everything you could need without being cluttered. Lovely welcome gifts and again when villa cleaned after 3 days. The view was breathtaking and it was so peaceful. I really didn’t want to leave. Handy shop a couple of minutes walk and the Trapezaki restaurant, also a few minutes away ( walking). Lots of other Taverna’s a couple of minutes drive away. You do need a car however to explore this beautiful Island. Our host Clayde, went above and beyond. So helpful and accommodating. Really couldn’t do enough for you which made the holiday even more special. I would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you Clayde for your kindness. 100% would recommend White Blossom Villas.

the room was a perfect choice to enjoy poros village for 2 days. It was clean and comfortable with all I needed for the stay. Antonis was very kind and available. the recommendation book in the room was super helpful for managing around poros. tnx!

Second time staying in this apartment… great place to stay, love Poros and the location of the apartment (sit back and relax on the balcony day or night and watch the world go by) loved it again so will be back. Double glassing is also a big benefit / automatic shutters are great.

We had a really lovely stay at the Endless Blue House. The house was perfect - big comfortable bed, beautiful private garden, and the BBQ and Hot Tub were great additions. Having immediate access to the stunning crystal clear blue sea was incredible and much needed. Shops and tavernas in Sami are only a 5/10 minute walk away along the adjacent path, with a variety of excellent food on offer. Pantazis was an excellent host - would highly recommend hiring one of his motor boats to explore the coast and nearby beaches. Overall a great holiday.

We spent 5 nights at the apartment and it was perfect. Everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was great. The garden around the apartment is beautiful, full of flowers and plants to enjoy from your balcony. The view from the balcony is amazing, we loved waking up and watching the water with a coffee. Poros is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by mountains and the swimming is great from the beach. The location is also great, you can walk straight down to the beach. We didn't meet Despina in person but she was lovely over messenges and helped us out with recommendations and anything we needed. We can't fault our stay and everything was perfect, we really hope to visit again in the near future!

It's hard to write a review without just repeating everything everyone else has said. It really deserves a five star rating. The balcony is amazing, we spent a lot of time just chilling in that fantastic space looking over the harbour. We needed a taxi from the airport and our host recommended local driver Kosmas, who was punctual, helpful and very kind. The wonderful little bakery 'Strawberry' is a couple of minutes walk for fresh pastries, home made ice cream and coffee. There are plenty of tavernas in walking distance - the whole village in fact is very compact and walkable. I'd also recommend Kefalonia Wine Tour as a wonderful experience with local winemaker Julia, who only takes very small groups into her personal, small family world of co-operative wine making. She also picks you up from Agia Effimia! Thanks so much to our wonderful hosts for a really happy stay and making us feel so welcome.
