My grandparents' old house, newly restored, quiet village 6 km from the center of Viana do Castelo and the beaches. Café, bakery, and mini-market where you can buy everything you need, all around the house within a 2 to 5 minute walk. The property is completely closed off and isolated from the road. There is a lot of farmland that my parents take care of. It is a place to rest and be in nature. There is a barbecue area and outdoor terrace. (All occupants must be registered on Airbnb.)

The Wind Mill

Beautifully located in hills overlooking the Atlantic Ocean sits the Marinhas windmill. The windmill dates from the year 1758 and was built in the traditional northern Portuguese style with circular walls, two floors, an entrance on the grown floor and two windows on the upper floor. It is classified as a municipal heritage building. The mill is 130 meters above sea level thus providing a breathtaking view over the towns and ocean and a unique retreat for the more adventurous guest.
