We also have on the property: swimming pool, private stream, sauna, fireplace, barbecue, pizza oven, chalet kitchen with wood stove and a large veranda. It is located in the middle of the Atlantic Forest, with lots of greenery, birds and a stream. We are close to the main waterfalls of Penedo. At the same time, it is close to good restaurants and a supermarket. Ideal for hosting families and groups.

Refúgio das Juçaras is a typical forest house, rustic, clean, cozy and surrounded by giant stones that make the land enchanted. The house is within an Environmental Protection Area, embedded in nature, including juçara palm trees, ferns and other beauties of the Atlantic Forest. At the bottom of the land passes the crystalline Alambari River, which separates our land from the Itatiaia National Park. The house is in a region close to the emerald wells of Serrinha. It's an enchanted place!

Modernist Chalet in the middle of the Forest

3000 m2 site surrounded by an Atlantic Forest in a protected area. The main house is a modernist chalet designed in 1962 by architect and artist Levy Menezes (1922-1991). The property is within the Itatiaia National Park. To access Guapuruvu Residency, you must identify yourself at the Park entrance as a residential visitor. Space not suitable for children and the elderly. Pets are not permitted in the Park. Satellite Internet.

With an amazing view of Pico do Penedinho, the mountain where the history of Penedo began. - We provide all bedding (sheet, bedspread, blanket, quilt and 1 pillow per guest); - Bath and face towels are provided for the entire stay.
