Holiday houses in Challapampa

We really liked this Airbnb, beautiful location, stunning views and great door to have breakfast which was included and very tasty (eggs or fruit salad, bread, jam, butter, selection of tea and decent coffee). Room was basic but with a very comfortable bed , hot shower and decent size. Table inside where we had dinner served both nights we stayed, good value with quinoa soup and then we picked trout, delicious. Owners were really friendly, felt very at home. And we coped with our rubbish Spanish. We got the ferry across and asked to be dropped at Pilcocaina, which the captain did, so went directly through the ruins/temple (10Bol) and walked the path past the big pylon to near Santo campo eco lodge where we were directed to the room. Easy and about 20 min slow walk. Another 15-20 min to the village of Yumani and the start of the walk around the island. The walk was fabulous, and well worth doing, and spending a few nights on the island, so relaxing with no traffic noise.

Bij aankomst op Isla del Sol was het verblijf was lastig te vinden. Het was het Inka Pacha verblijf in Yumani, maar dit stond in de beschrijving alleen aangegeven als het netwerk. Verder was het verblijf helemaal prima. Fijne kamer met uitzicht en Martin is een enorm behulpzame en vriendelijke host.

Lovely stay in Isla el Sol, the views were outstanding and hosts are super friendly. We loved this stay and considered staying longer! It’s closer than other hostels to the inca stairs which means you don’t have to walk as far with your luggage from the port - this was appreciated as the climb can be tiring! The room was peaceful and we were warm and comfortable. 5/5 would definitely recommend!

The stay with Libertad has been amazing. She has built a calm and very beautiful place just a few meters outside of Copacabana, but still in walking distance (ca.20min). It has an alternative vibe, as a lot of the garden is built with recycled materials. Furthermore, she’s a brilliant cook and you definitely should not miss the opportunity to try her organic and veggie food options! There’s also a Sauna de Cajon, which we also recommend. Very relaxing and warming, after dipping in the cold Titicacalake. We would come again, 10/10! Gracias de Alemania :)

Thank you Maritza! Super beautiful spot; right next to ferry dock from Copacabana. The place is gorgeous, and on the main trail to explore the island. The breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend!

A Kasa Kultural Sol y Luna não é apenas um lugar de hospedagem, mas um lugar de vivência, de encontro com uma ancestralidade perdida ou desconhecida. Libertad é a pessoa responsável por nos proporcionar este (re)encontro, uma pessoa consciente e muito amável. O lugar é rústico e sustentável, e isto já é suficiente pela proposta. O luxo está na paisagem do Lago Titicaca adornado pela vista de Copacabana ao fundo. Não há muito mais por dizer, apenas agradecer pela oportunidade e recomendar a quem estiver disposto a disfrutar uma oportunidade singular. Obrigado Libertad!

Alojamiento de 100 sobre 10! En primera línea de playa , con vistas increíbles, mucho mejor que en hoteles de 5 estrellas. Tener esas vistas y el mar tan cerca era algo mágico, nos gustó tanto que nos quedamos una noche más! Fredy y la familia siempre pues amables , atentos y serviciales! Sin duda repetiría !!
