Super clean and cute house! Perfect set up for a girls weekend. The outdoor fire table and seating area was perfect.

We stayed for a week while my son attended sports camp at U of I and it was perfect. The house was well stocked with more than we could have asked for and it made it easy to function as if we were home. From kitchen supplies to the laundry to comfortable bedding it has all you will need. The pool was great to have and the location is wonderfully close to campus.

My daughters and I spent 4 days and we had a great time. The house the clean, fully equipped, and pastries and goodies welcomed us when we arrived. My girls loved the pool and we had plenty pool floaties, noodles, and towels. I enjoyed reading in the back deck and relaxing. Ryan was extremely helpful and accommodating, answering my questions quickly and efficiently. We highly recommend his home!

Our stay here was beyond what we expected. The location is great for visiting UIUC but being in a quiet spot out of the hustle and bustle. It had easy access to campus and the Kickapoo Rail Trail. We loved having the pool and hot tub, and it was incredibly well cared for with lots of toys too. We enjoyed the kitchen, which was stocked with everything we needed to cook and grill. The inside of the home is even more luxurious and larger than the pictures can demonstrate. Rossella was helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to make us comfortable during our stay. It was great for children because all of the decor is thoughtfully placed out of reach! We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The Squirrel Nest is such a great, fun little house. (Although it doesn't feel "little", it had plenty of space for five of us, for my daughter's graduation from U of I.) John & Liz did an incredible job decorating and appointing this charming house, great little details everywhere. Even the writing in their guest instructions and around the house were making us smile all weekend. The house was spotless and accurate to the description and photos. In fact I'd say it feels larger than the photos give it credit for. The location was great. Close enough to campus (a short drive) and downtown Champaign, but still on a quiet street. The patio and the back porch were great spots for morning coffee or an outdoor meal. The hosts could not have been nicer or more accommodating, and they were always very quick to respond. Great house. Great people. Wish it had been here for all four years of my daughter's undergrad! We would've stayed here every time. Thanks John & Liz!!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We felt right at home, and it was quaint and cozy. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely try to stay here again!

It was just as described. It was clean except for a few things under one bed. It was an easy entrance. It was in a LOVELY neighborhood. Very private and quiet. Close to the University and downtown. The only recommendations I have are to add a comfy chair to the living room. It was tough hanging out with 3 people on a couch. And, fixing the overhead light and fan in the kitchen. Really liked your check in and out manual. Very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

House was perfect for our trip. We were in town for a graduation. Was close to campus and still private spot for us. Beds were comfortable and house was exactly as advertised. Would definitely recommend.

Such a great place. We stayed 2 nights for our son’s U of I graduation weekend. Reasonably priced for that weekend unlike others who price gouge. The place is beautifully maintained and everything works well. The outside space is lovely and I wish we’d had more time to enjoy it. Sheri communicated really well and was very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this place.

This is our second stay (we stayed one year ago also) and it was just as impeccable as the first stay! Spotless! Everything was literally pristine and as shown and described! Very peaceful and relaxing location! Highly recommend and we will be back next year!!!

Dan, Pia, and James were fantastic. I was there to help care for my elderly parents and so I had to change my plans several times, extending my stay. They were both accommodating and helpful. This occurred during an extreme cold weather event and the furnace had an issue. They got it fixed immediately. Having the garage was really helpful during the bad weather. I definitely will try to stay there again on a future visit. The place and hosts were awesome.

Wonderful split level house. Perfect for our needs. Enjoyed morning walks in the park across the street as well. Perfect location! Thanks for a great stay!

Karin was absolutely the best host. We sent a group of our fireman UP to to the IFSI Fire Academy EMT program and Karin made them feel right at home. Our guys absolutely loved the place and once a week Karin would make them a homemade meal since they were away from their families. We couldn't have asked for a better place for them to stay while they were away from their families! I highly recommend that you check out this place or one of Karins other places. My guys absolutely adored her. 💕

This home was lovely, well equipped for our extended family stay in Urbana.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described. The host was friendly and responsive. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We were moving out our child from college and stayed a few days at Araceli' place and it worked out superbly. The house has everything you need and is located close to campus and the hosts were very responsive. Keep your good work going.

Super thankful to find this space that accommodated 5 guests very comfortably. The neighborhood was nice, and in close proximity to the event space we were there for as well as close to campus, lots of eateries, and any necessities you would need for a stay coming in from out of town/state. Enough bathroom, living space and outdoor/balcony seating for everyone to really relax and have a lovely stay.

Great host and easy to work with

We had a good experience staying here. What you see in the pics is what you get, everything was accurately depicted. We were able to comfortably fit 7 adults for grad weekend which was just what we needed. The house itself is an old Victorian, but it's in great condition, quirky and unique. The house was very clean which is the most important feature to us. The pros are definitely the large first floor open space to hang out with family and the wrap around porch and swing. We sat outside a lot, day and night. Cons to mention would really be the bathroom situation, having no en suite and only one bath upstairs, and perhaps the street noise at night since it's on a busy street. Nothing that made the stay uncomfortable for the weekend, just something to mention. Elizabeth was very kind and responsive in all communications. We have two more kids in school at UIUC so we hopefully will be back to stay again!

We loved this charming bungalow, which was perfect for celebrating my son’s college graduation. We were able to walk to commencement and avoid the traffic! The stylish kitchen was better than described and well appointed. We loved the long dining room table and drinking coffee in the porch. We loved the coziness, hardwood floors, and charm. Highly recommend this special spot for a special weekend with family or friends.
