Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Channel Islands

David's place lived up to all our expectations. Communication between David, Emma and ourselves was great throughout the whole experience and their photos and directions made finding the place straightforward. The accommodation was as described, very clean and well equipped. The house was quiet and private but within easy walking distance of St Brelade's Bay and St Aubin where there were shops, a supermarket and a wide variety of eateries. Overall David's place provided what we were hoping for and I'd recommend it to anyone. The only slight criticism is that it would have been nice to have had some outside furniture for the better weather but this in no way impacted on our enjoyment of our holiday.

Irene’s place and the location were wonderful! Spacious house with comfortable large living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Bedroom has beautiful sea views. There is a private patio with outdoor seating great for enjoying the sunshine. Short drive from cafes, restaurants and supermarket. Irene was quite accommodating at checking and checkout, great communication and excellent host.

Beautiful house with stunning views. Superb decoration. Extremely well-equipped house with all the comforts for a memorable stay. "The Sound of the Waves" is aptly named. A true haven of peace. Great hosting by Florence who will give you plenty of good advice (remember to follow her instructions for access to the house!). Excellent welcome for dogs which is a big plus for me. We'll be happy to go back. Thank you!!

This beautiful house is highly recommended. First of all, due to the beautiful location with beautiful views on two floors (living room and bedroom) that you can't get enough of. But especially because of the peace and quiet, while all the comforts such as supermarkets and restaurants are a 5-minute drive away. However, the most important thing was the hospitality: Anne-Francoise and Adeline made for an unforgettable experience! Ps note: there is no television. The internet is also not really fast. For us, no problem at all.

We had a fantastic stay at Liz's two-bedroom apartment in Guernsey from Friday to Monday! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that cleanliness is a top priority, which we really appreciated. The kitchen was absolutely spotless and incredibly well-stocked with everything we could possibly need – it made self-catering a breeze. We were especially touched by the thoughtful touches Liz left for us: a delicious fruit loaf with butter and milk in the fridge was such a welcoming gesture, perfect for a hot drink after our journey. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean, with plenty of fresh towels available. It's clear that Liz takes great pride in her property, and it really made a difference to our comfort. We had a wonderful, hassle-free stay and would highly recommend Liz's apartment to anyone visiting Guernsey. The photos of the property do not do it justice. Michael + Megan 🙂

Loved our stay here. Very close to the beach and the city center but on a very quiet street, it was perfect for us. It also is located right near a great hiking trail , which we appreciated. Would love to come here again sometime.

Stayed here whilst my son competed in a tennis tournament...the fact that the property had a tennis court was a bonus! The property was clean, tidy with all the amenities we needed. It was like home from home. The beds were very comfortable and each room had its own TV which was great. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future.

We stayed with friends in this beautiful and large house. The renovation is tasteful and of good quality, it is aesthetically beautiful and the amenities are numerous. The kitchen in particular. The garden and terrace are pleasant. In the evening, we are comfortably settled inside... to read a book in front of the fireplace. Bedrooms and toilets are upstairs. Thank you to Dagmar and Guy for their hospitality and responsiveness to our requests.

Chona is a really lovely ground floor flat that is fully equipped to accommodate a couple of people, most definitely. Everything was clean and comfortable, and not too noisy despite being roadside. Would recommend and book again!

This has to be the best ever beachfront apartment we have stayed in. Spectacular views, spacious balcony, superbly equipped and everything worked without any hassle. The Leisure Club is an added bonus for me - brilliant pool, fitness equipment and the jacuzzi plus the outdoor terrace and restaurant with great meals, especially the (takeaway available too) fish and chips. The purpose of this trip was a holiday for my 94 year old Mother - above all the apartment was very safe/secure, accessible, the few steps to the 1st floor are manageable and the lift means getting into the apartment is easy. Totally recommend this apartment!

We had a very good stay at Virginie's, the beach 50m walk is a real asset and offers a very nice view. The apartment is very well-equipped.

My husband, 10-year-old daughter and myself have just returned from a truly amazing week, the property is beautiful, with facilities that far exceeded expectations. We had such a relaxing time; the beds are super comfy; led in bed looking out to sea with a coffee in the morning was a true highlight. The gardens are beautifully kept and being gated and private we had no worries with our daughter playing out. The walk down to Watcombe Beach, albeit steep on the way back up but 100% worth it; we took our paddleboard down and went swimming on a number of occasions, the water is very calm, on 2 occasions we were in the water and within 20ft off us were 2 seals! The hot tub was perfect, lovely fluffy robes provided to keep off the chill. We used the BBQ each evening and ate out on the patio. Susan is an incredible host, nothing is too much trouble, very informative and exceedingly helpful, she really did enhance our stay and made us feel as if we were staying in a home from home.

Just had 4 nights stay in this beautiful apartment with amazing views. It’s modern, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in this area.

Good location in the centre of town close to everything (including Juno Beach Centre). On the third floor so lots of stair climbing. Apartment is small but cute and the sofa bed is very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay in Pascale's studio, a charming cocoon, quiet, very well-equipped, and what can I say about the sunny terrace, and its magnificent sea view!!!

We had a great stay at this accommodation, which was clean, pleasant and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated the little touches left by Sylviane. Sylviane also showed great flexibility for our arrival and departure independently, which was very convenient. We can wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

Idyllic location overlooking Trestraou Beach and adjacent to beautiful coastal walks.The apartment is cleverly designed to maximise the views but perhaps the details didn't make it clear that the "bedroom" could only be accessed by a vertical ladder which proved tricky for us aged 78! However the double sofa bed was fine. Otherwise the property was faultless and we had the most wonderful and peaceful week.

Couldn’t ask for a better location for St Malo. Plenty of space for the 5 of us. Layout of kitchen was interesting given such an odd shape. An exhaust fan would have been useful when using hot plates. Nespresso machine was appreciated and variety of pods. Being a 300yo building be prepared for squeaky floors. Pasquale checked us in and gave some recommendations, highly recommend the fresh seafood platter. So much to enjoy. Unfortunately the weather turned cold and rainy for our stay so photos don’t look flash. Highly recommend
