Holiday rentals with a kayak in Chattooga River

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

We had a great week! Beautiful view, spacious condo and very comfortable! The kids loved the pool and lake access both within walking distance. We also enjoyed paddle boarding and nearby hikes! Definitely recommend- we will be back.

Was a beautiful home, and we would happily stay again. We arrived right after storms had passed through and had no power for for first few hours. Hosts were very accommodating in making sure house still got cleaned and ready even without power. They offered to refund our first night if wanted to delay coming, and were keeping me posted almost hourly of updates. Was no fault of theirs, just Mother Nature. Loved the kayaks and all the board and card games. The deck and views are worth the whole place. Even provided s’mores supplies to make. Also the beds were extremely comfortable! Could not have asked for a better get away. Would love to return!

This place was amazing. The views from the rooms were fantastic. The overall aesthetic was great. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The A frame was everything we expected. What did surprise us was how there was no noise from the bathroom. With the A Frame and the bedroom ceiling walls being open we fully expected to hear water, the toilet or something when someone was in the bathroom but there was none, which was a very welcoming, pleasant and needed surprise lol.

What an amazing home on the lakefront! Gorgeous views of the lake with multiple places to gather outside and take it all in. Besides spending time on the dock, we spent most of our time in the screened in "4 seasons" room enjoying coffee in the morning, meals throughout the day, cocktails at sunset, and playing games. Everything about our stay was a 5 star experience from the time we checked in until we left. Katie left clear instructions on how to check in along with some recommendations for the area. She was quick in resonding to inquiries and made us feel at home. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens were of high quality. The ping pong table was a hit along with the kayaks on the dock. All were used frequently. It was an idyllic location and the perfect family getaway for our long weekend at the lake!

We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay in Bobby and Dina’s beautiful, river house and they were the perfect hosts! They were very responsive to questions and even offered area suggestions including a wonderful local butcher, for our BBQ night on the deck, listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. This home had everything we needed to prepare meals, very clean and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this home for your trip to the Murphy area and would love to return when we have more time to fish & kayak!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It’s the perfect get away on the lake for big groups. It is in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need. 10/10 recommend!!

We loved our stay at this lakefront gem. The house is exactly as described and gorgeous. The view from the back porch is amazing. Wendy is a wonderful host and her home is well stocked and very clean! I would recommend this home and we will stay again.

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. Five star

This place is a great location , stocked well and can walk to everything in town . Communicate great . We were in town for a wedding at Village on Green -so easy to get to everything.

Kaycee and Scott were wonderful hosts!! They provided great detail of places to eat, things to see and do, including hikes that my sister and I greatly appreciated. They always checked in and were very attentive throughout our stay! Their cottage is perfect for exploring Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville. Highly recommend for anyone exploring the Great Smoky Mountains too!! Great spot.

Loved this stay! They were very accommodating in letting me move my reservation after some family things arose. The parking is as described so pay special note to that. I really appreciated all the small details along with a well stocked kitchen (spices, staples, even s’mores!) and the bathroom essentials. Would recommend and would stay again!

We had a wonderful relaxing week at the lake. The house was inviting and cozy and stocked with everything we needed. The exterior was very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. Mary was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Debbie's lakeside retreat was a beautiful home away from home. It was the perfect size for 1-2 people and very well stocked (cooking essentials, grilling supplies, kayaking things, shampoo/conditioner, etc.). We LOVED having access to the lake and hanging out at the water. The area was very quiet and super relaxing. Also, the year round Christmas tree made me feel super cozy. Top tier air bnb.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is tucked into its wooded lot and feels like a private retreat. Between relaxing on the dock, or napping in the screened pavilion, or exploring on kayaks there was something for our entire family to enjoy across the three generations on our trip.

This was our second stay at the Architect’s Cottage. It was as peaceful and calm this time as before. The deck and lake are our favorite things but inside the house is great too: clean and cozy and beautifully appointed with unique furnishings, art and lighting. Thank you, Jennifer for making this available again for us.

One of my favorite vacation rentals. Stocked with all the things to make a great vacation. Plenty of seasonings for cooking. The boats and fishing poles and board games make family time at the house fun! Made s’mores in the evenings. About an hour from Cade’s cove. 35 minutes to Townsend where there are restaurants and a small grocery store. Stopped by Walmart in maryville to get groceries on the way from Nashville airport.

Beautiful nature, clean house, hot tub was already warm when we arrived, comfy beds, clean bathrooms, no complains

This is our second time staying at Lisa’s place. This cabin is the best cabin we have stayed at. The place is beautiful, the view is beautiful , Lisa is absolutely, without question the best host we have encountered. Everything you need is provided. We would not hesitate staying here again. The area is great , lots of things to do and Lisa provides excellent folders of information and books to help you. Thanks Lisa for being such a great host!!!

We had a wonderful time! It was a little bit like sleeping in a treehouse. Very peaceful and pretty surroundings, lots of wildlife to enjoy. We really loved the grill and how easy it was to use, no need to worry about charcoal or a propane tank. The bed swing on the front porch was my favorite place to read and rest. My kids enjoyed using the kayaks, fishing, and being out on the water. The kitchen was well stocked, too. I arrived later than expected, and it was dark. Corey‘s communication was very helpful and prompt. And the binder of information might be the most thorough I’ve ever come across. Thank you for thinking of everything.

Our stay was amazing. The scenery was beautiful and loved being able to hang out at the fire pit every night. Being able to drink coffee while sitting on a screened in porch every morning with such a view was my favorite part of the stay! Thank you so much!! Will be recommending to my friends and will probably be staying again very soon!

This place is a hidden gym. My son had the opportunity to encounter wild life that were very friendly just eating. The place was immaculate and very clean better than the pictures. If you’re looking for someplace that is safe, quite, yeah, close to things to do. This is your place. If I’m ever in the Blue Ridge area, this is going to be my top pick!
