Sharon was extremely friendly! She went out of her way to find breakfast pastries for my food allergies! Super sweet! Wonderful space, private room and bathroom. We felt very at home and loved the neighborhood. Lovely drive to nearby areas like Newburyport and Salem. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy home away from home.

I really enjoyed Rajib's place. Just to get it out of the way, the shower in the bathroom is the nicest once I've ever used - skylights with houseplants around - honestly forgot where I was for a few minutes, because it really feels like you're at a resort. Rajib's house is a cosy Victorian on the corner of two cross-streets, has lots of trees and greenery around, is in a nice-quiet neighborhood, and is accessible to the city via the T (shoutout Green Line Extension). It felt like home. There was just the right amount of communication (some hosts inundate you with information), so it was refreshing for everything to be short and to the point. Pippy, the resident house dog, was also very sweet - and sometimes followed me around when I was the only one home at the time.

Grace was a wonderful host. She was so friendly , flexible and accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

My husband and I felt right at home when we arrived. Mary served us tea and fresh baked bread. We met her adorable little dog, Asher and two delightful guests. Her house is immaculate and cozy. Our king sized bed was soooo comfortable with organic cotton sheets that Mary actually ironed! We slept very well. The street is a little busy during the day, but light throughout the night. Her backyard is very green, beautiful and spacious! A lovely deck beckons, but alas, the weather did not! We would not hesitate to stay there again if the opportunity presents itself. Mary served us a delicious breakfast and we enjoyed our conversations with her. All in all, our stay was like our home away from home! Thank you, Mary, for everything and kisses to little Asher!

Staying with Valerie at her home was the perfect end to an already magical weekend at Bethel Farms where I participated in a spiritual retreat, which was very rejuvenating but also a lot of energy work. Staying at Valerie's was the perfect spot to recoup for a day before heading back to Philadelphia!

A+. This place is why I come to Airbnb: unique, immersive, and full of character. I stayed in the Witches Dorm, and it felt like part of the adventure, not just a place to sleep. The decor was rich and authentic, and the common room was so cozy I spent hours writing and reading there. The 2 twin beds were comfy (even for a 6'1" guest.) Hope, the host, is fascinating and has some amazing stories, but also totally respects your space. She keeps the common area well-stocked with snacks, coffee, and drinks, which made mornings and late nights easy. Uber was always available and affordable (~$6–10), making it easy to get around if you don’t feel like walking the scenic 25–30 mins to downtown. The walk downtown can be super varied tho—walking along the coastline one day, thru a park the next, and a myriad of ways down tiny New England streets w cute houses all about the same travel time. My first time in Salem. Felt safe at all hours. Would absolutely stay at this property again. A+

We very much enjoyed staying at Carol's home. It was very cozy and clean, and she greeted us and even introduced her dogs and cat. It had everything we could ever need and it's in a prime location, we would highly recommend!

Kate was very friendly and responded quickly to texts/questions. She knows the area well, gave good recommendations for restaurants, etc and even drove us a couple times when it was raining. We were here for a graduation and were perfectly located close to BC and the law campus. The house and gardens were beautiful.

Marshall and Courtney have curated a hip, comfortable, and immaculate space that is a joy to spend time in. Addison Choate is nestled in an adorable walkable beach town that is an easy trip from Boston. We had a fantastic time, and will be sure to be back!

Staying at Myra’s beautiful home was one of the most joyful experiences in all my travels. Though far from family, I felt instantly welcomed into a space full of warmth and character. The house exudes timeless charm—book-lined rooms, plush couches, and sunlit corners that invite you to relax. My cosy single room was ideal—even for a tall guest just off a long flight from Australia—and I could happily have stayed much longer. Each morning began with a nourishing, delicious breakfast and truly exceptional coffee. Myra’s attention to detail and genuine care made every part of the stay feel special. Set in a peaceful neighbourhood just 15 minutes by car or 30 by train from the city, the location was perfect for both business and leisure. Once free of luggage (a taxi was ideal), I enjoyed the pleasant walk to Newton Centre and easy commute into town. This home radiates care, comfort, and quiet charm. I hope to return soon and enjoy another coffee in those bright, welcoming rooms.

Very timely response once I booked. Someone was waiting outside at night and helped my daughter and I bring in our bags and gave us a tour and let us know some very helpful travel hints to Salem. Would recommend.

Caroline is a wonderful host and the house is beautiful! She made us breakfast of our choice every morning and gave us many great suggestions. We also loved the location, it's a short bus ride to Harvard Square and transportation into the city. It is also walkable to a bodega and restaurants.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, thanks to such a considerate and thoughtful host. It truly felt like we were visiting an old friend’s home—the crib and toys thoughtfully set up for our toddler made us feel instantly at ease, and the fresh fruit and pastries waiting for us at check-in were a lovely touch. Örs was warm, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything. The location itself is stunning and couldn’t have been more perfect. We left feeling relaxed and grateful—highly recommend!

Lovely home with gorgeous antique furniture. Gracious host and great dining for breakfast through dinners. Definitely would stay again. Charles was welcoming and informative of the area dining choices and tours. Very comfortable bed!

Lovely home, great location and friendly and helpful host. Felt more like a "hosted B&B or inn" rather than the more common experience I've had with Air B&B of the host being available but not a visible presence. If you are looking for a private, nonengaging experience, this might not be for you. However, if you enjoy meeting your host, we found Bob to be warm and cheery and he made us a lovely breakfast with excellent coffee. Rosy was away so we did not meet her, however, her decorating talents were much on display from the tableware to the linens and accoutrements, all of which made us feel like we were special guests.

I had a great stay at Peter and Jean’s place. They are friendly hosts who respect your privacy, which made the experience feel relaxed and comfortable. The room was pleasant—bright with the shades up, and nicely dark when the shades were down to block out sunlight. The community is lovely and peaceful—perfect for a walk or just enjoying the calm atmosphere. Car parking was easy, which made coming and going stress-free. Jean was especially helpful and accommodating, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a peaceful and positive experience. I would recommend their place to others.

A beautiful craftsman style house near the center of Newton and a short drive to anywhere in the Boston area.

Very accommodating and friendly hosts, lovely yard with outdoor seating, clean, comfortable bed, quiet neighborhood, new washer/dryer, beautiful home, close to bus stop. Only negatives - very small bathroom that was not en suite and minimal breakfast options. We bought our own breakfast food and used the refrigerator. We eat very healthy food.

Lori is a gracious hostess, she welcomed us into her home which was immaculate. If your looking for a nice retreat I would definitely put this location on your list!
