Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Chelsea, Manhattan

So there are apparently not enough characters allowed in the review to fully express our pleasure staying at this wonderful place. We have stayed in multiple Airbnbs with our business the past five years and this particular one is in the top three. Upon approach, take in the charming brownstones and tree lined streets. Once you open the door, you are greeted with natural light filled space with a chefs kitchen. The decor is modern, yet not stark. The added elements, such as the exposed brick and wood, emanate a warmth and coziness. The outdoor back space is just right, but sitting on the front steps is the best because you meet all kinds of charming characters around the neighborhood. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with dream bathrooms, right down to the showerheads. beds were SO comfortable and perfect for melting into a deep sleep after a day in Manhattan. Favs:bathrooms, kitchen island, neighborhood shops and cafes, argh there’s not enough room left just book it already!!

Abi was an exceptional host! The location was ideal, with convenient free street parking. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind.

The house is very charming and well preserved. Lovingly decorated with attention to detail. The room had a nice view of the garden. The area is green with many historic buildings and cafes. Jordan is very friendly. I look forward to coming back!

Very cozy, clean room with a mini-fridge and filtered water. They just put a new memory foam mattress on the bed, which was very comfortable. Stella was quick to respond to messages and very kind and accommodating. It was so nice to come back to this very private and quiet room after a long day out in the city! Within walking distance of several metro stations.

best Airbnb, you feel like home, perfectly clean. Victoria clean the appartement every day, the smell is so good, the room is so comfortable, cozy and warm. Victoria prepare all small needs, believe me better than hotels . I will comeback soon with my daughters

Amazing host, clean house and quick check in.

I had a great stay in North Bergen! The area was super convenient and felt safe, with everything I needed close by. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Communication was easy, and I felt really at home. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We really enjoyed our stay - the unit was absolutely perfect for what we needed and acted as the perfect base for all things New York being a one minute walk from the station! Krystal was extremely friendly, responsive and helpful - would highly recommend !

Very clean and great location

We drove in from NC and found a near by parking garage (booked months in advanced) to store our car for the week. We're honked and yelled at driving...best experience (was on our bucket list). Location is perfect.. walkable to Central park, Broadway shows, times square, places to eat and drink, Hudsen river, and the subway. The place itself is perfect and gives the feel as if you were a New Yorker, which was exactly what we wanted to experience. Enjoy the leg burn going up the stairs every night after an all day walk-athon in Manhattan, to a cozy studio with a hot shower. Elena's place was perfect and allowed us to scratch off everything on our Manhattan bucket list. Highly recommend, coming from a farming NC couple.

Adele’s place was lovely! It fit our needs and was very charming. Kate was a perfect host as well. She shared several local restaurants and bakeries and coffee shops that were wonderful. We would love to stay here again if we make it back to New York! Highly recommend!!

This place is hands down, one of the best Airbnbs that I’ve ever stayed in. The apartment was easy to find and looked just like the pictures. The unit is ground level however it is very quiet and you feel very safe. Everything was spotless and you can tell that Elgha takes great care of her property. Elgha is extremely responsive and very friendly. I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to come back.

We couldn't have asked for a better "home base" from which to explore New York City and the surrounding area. Hoboken is a lovely, walkable community with easy access to Manhattan and great restaurants and recreational areas in its own right. Our hosts communicated well and thought of everything we would need, down to providing umbrellas in case we needed them on a rainy day and forgot to bring our own. The home was clean and beautifully appointed in a historic area, and our hosts were welcoming and responsive without being intrusive. We really couldn't have asked for more, and I highly recommend this home to anyone traveling to NYC.

Single room with its own bathroom that slept 4 comfortably. There's a little A/C in the window that, when cranked up high, manages to cool down the room considerably. The bathroom's surprisingly spacious for New York. Despite the *very* active night life in Koreatown, I was amazed at how we heard *nothing* even when I turned the A/C unit down low. The building was busy at 11 PM at night, but I was really surprised at how I didn't hear any noise from neighbors at all. This was an excellent find, and an absolutely excellent stay. With the front desk service, this felt more like a hotel than an Airbnb, but it was *perfect* for our needs! Excellent stay.

Benjamin was a great host and very responsive. We have 3 dogs that travel with us and sometimes finding an Airbnb can be difficult. With a dedicated parking spot and grassy fenced in back yard this Airbnb was perfect for us. The space looked just like the photos, clean and everything we needed. The location was great, a quick walk to the light rail and we were able to get over to the city quickly. Will definitely be looking to book here again when we travel this way in the future.

I felt home at once in this beautifully furnished place. Antony was friendly and welcoming, and I could not have been more comfortable. The neighborhood felt very safe and was not noisy, and I found everything I needed within a short walk. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and although 6 stars is not a rating, I was more comfortable here than at many other places I have rated with a 5. I recommend it without reservation.

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the path in 5 min to connect to the NYC subways. On the walk, you pass multiple cafes and coffee shops. Great craft beer and wine shop on the corner. Pizza shop, Basile’s, right next to the PATH is perfect for a late night snack. The beds were comfortable, and even though there was some street noise heard at night, a sound machine was provided to help lull you to sleep. The only thing you have to be aware of is the unit is located on the 2nd floor, and you have to go up a narrow set of stairs which can be hard with multiple suitcases. Other than that, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with everything within walking distance!

The view of the NYC skyline was exactly as promised in the pictures. Host was super responsive. The place was within walking distance to bus and ferry to NYC.

Great apartment in a nice area of Hoboken. We used this as a base for our trip to New York so did not spend much time at the place but the location is great, you are close to the station (10-15 minute walk) which takes you to Manhattan Midtown or the Financial District at World Trade Centre. The area in Hoboken is also very nice, you are nearby the Hoboken waterfront which offers great views of Manhattan and an opportunity to slow down from fast pace of Manhattan. Further you are next to Washington Street, which has lots of restaurants and bars, we particularly enjoyed starting the day with Bagels on the Hudson. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and had everything we needed. AJ was always quick to respond for any questions we had. Overall, would recommend.
