Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Chemor

This was my second time staying at Chong's house (9th - 14th June 2025), and once again, it was a great experience. The house is very clean, well-maintained, and exactly as shown in the pictures. It’s conveniently located with easy access to anywhere in Ipoh by car. Highly recommended! Chong was very responsive and promptly answered all our questions. During my previous stay, the water dispenser was the standard filter type. I was pleasantly surprised this time to see that it has been upgraded to a Coway water dispenser — much more convenient and user-friendly! Special thanks to Senior Uncle Chong (Chong’s father), who is always warm, friendly, and caring. I truly enjoy our conversations — they are one of the highlights of my stay. It’s been a pleasure getting to know him, especially with him staying just next door to Chong’s house. I strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ipoh. It will definitely be my top choice again for future trips!

Calm & peaceful stay.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication effortless. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, yet quiet and peaceful for a relaxing stay.

Comfortable stay.. beautiful house…

The airbnb is nearby lots of eateries. Big and spaces for group of friends or family. There are entertainment and board games provided too. A play area for kids is the plus point as the kids can have their a place to play. The host is responsive and came down and explain to us some of the things that need to take note. He also provides some recommendation on place of interest and food eateries.

Loved it. Everything was so neat and organized. Would definitely recommend this to anyone going to Ipoh. Ample space, very comfortable bedding. Kitchen is well stocked with basics. Amenities are clearly labeled. Had a pleasant stay.

The one that stood out the most is the host. Amazing host!!! Thank you for hosting me and the place is value for money. Great place to book. Highly recommended and I will surely book again in the future.

Faa Yen’s place is the best Homestay I have stayed! The unit is squeaky clean and very very comfortable! We have spend 3 nights at Faa Yen’s place and we can’t wait for our next visit already!

Overall was a nice stay. House was clean and tidy. However a minus point is, I wish there’s a mirror in the house. The only mirrors were in the bathroom. A bit difficult for us women to do our make up and all😂. Otherwise it was a good place to stay.

Suphy was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always responding promptly to our inquiries. The accommodation is conveniently located within walking distance of Gerbang Malam. Please be aware that there is a nearby street with several funeral-related businesses, which some guests may find sensitive—those who are concerned can easily take an alternative route. The building itself is very secure, with card access required for both entry and exit; I would rate the security a full 10 out of 10. The view from the unit is also wonderful, offering a peaceful way to enjoy the scenic beauty of Ipoh.

I would like to rate 10 out of 5 for this stay! The house is very clean as it’s taken care by the host’s mum. The place is beautiful as it’s surrounded by mountains. It’s an ideal stay for people who wanna relax their minds. Our host is very friendly, too. We will definitely choose to stay here again in future!

Clean, comfortable, easy parking,

Nick, is a really good host ! He gave me all the information I needed. The apartment is spotless and 100% clean. There's a mall within 10 minutes walk, where you can find a supermarket with good prices. Even tough is not close to downtown Ipoh, you get around really easy by taking Grab or InDrive, so be sure to download the apps, before getting to Malaysia. I would say, there's no need to be in downtown Ipoh to see the city and surroundings, so therefore this place suited me well.

Superb property with adequate amenities, suitable for families with small children. It has plenty of space and a good layout for the five of us (2 adults and 3 children). The location is excellent—right next to the Tambun waterpark—and you can enjoy a beautiful view of the limestone mountains from the balcony. However, do note that it can get quite loud in the evenings due to the nearby night park, with noise lasting until around 11 PM.

Is a very nice and comfortable place to stay . We all very enjoy staying here . Host are very friendly. We hope to come again in future visit

Very nice stay . The host very kind and responsive . The unit very clean, spacious and complete . Bed is clean as well the toilet . Aircond function well . Fridge, microwave and basic utensils are provided . Iron and hair dryer function well . Strategic location for those who want to food hunting . The guard also kind . Car park also easy access . So comfortable . Will repeat again next time .

Overall nice place for a family stay in Ipoh. Smooth check in process, clean spacious unit and great access to central attractions in Ipoh town. Very slight noise pollution from the nearby bars/KTV lounges but partly expected given the central location. Was not loud enough to keep my family and I up though. Highly recommended accommodation and host

We had a great stay here. Super clean house and bathroom. Kids corner also my kids enjoyed. Quite place. Check in and check out procedure was very easy and Cui Hing gave very clear instruction. Will come back again this place if we come to Ipoh.

Very good place. I stayed here for one month and had great emotions. There are many cafes and restaurants near this accommodation. 7/11 is 2 min walking, Ipoh Parade is just 7 min by car or 15-20 min by feet. ACs cooling well, pool is ok if you follow their rules of clothes wear, kitchen has a lot of things The thing was there were no vacuum cleaner but when I asked the lovely hosts I have been provided with it, so I could clean the apartment better Thank you!
