I am an American who purchased this ancient home in the heart of the village Crezancy-en-Sancerre. There is a restaurant/bar and butcher in the village. Close proximity to Sancerre ( 10 minutes by car) Two wine domaine’s within walking distance for degustation. You have your own apartment space located in a grand old home from the 1800’s that was once a bar-hotel. You also have shared garden space to relax. This is a new listing for me here so continually trying to improve any guests stay.

You will be lulled by the sounds and silence of nature that surround you, you will quickly feel out of time, and soothe. We have auto built this cabin of natural materials with respect for the environment and nature all without water, but with the electricity of a solar panel and a wood burning stove.

The environment is very peaceful, the terrace is not overlooked, and there are fields as far as the eye can see with roe deer passing through.

Lovely cottage was a pigsty with loft, right across from the old oak forest Forret d Troncais with its many lakes and castles, markets, flea markets. Epineuil is also the village of Alain Fournier, the author of the book "Grand Meaulnes"
