Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Cheshire

We had the pleasure of staying at John and Dorothy’s wonderful home and were warmly welcomed upon arrival. We were shown to a spacious and beautifully presented room with our own private bathroom, along with access to a comfortable and well-kept reception room. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable—we had a fantastic night’s sleep. The following morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast featuring fresh strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries, accompanied by yogurt, a generous selection of granola and cereals, as well as toast and a variety of jams. It was a lovely and thoughtful touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. John was a friendly, attentive, and gracious host throughout. Tina and Jasper were lovely hosts, very responsive and helpful for minor issues that occurred during our stay which they quickly resolved. The apartment was beautiful, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The surrounding land is lovely and quiet, great for walks even in the rain! Highly recommended hosts and location. Would love to stay again!

Nick & Dipika were great hosts and the accommodation was like a home from home. I loved all the Cottage decorations and the flowers on the table in the kitchen/dining room. In the midst of the current chaos of COVID the attention to cleanliness was greatly appreciated - the hand sanitiser in the lounge and kitchen/diner, masks in the lounge and disinfectant wipes and spray throughput. I felt very safe. I also appreciated the food available for breakfasts as well as fresh milk. A great experience and superb value for money. The next time I am in the area I will definitely return.

The dog friendly bungalow was spotlessly clean. The hosts were very friendly and kind, and it's a great location.

Nice stay at Andrea’s house! You have to walk all through her home to get to your bedroom which may be off putting for some, however we didn’t mind at all & the bedroom & bathroom are very separate in an extension. We never saw or heard anyone during our stay. Lovely view from the bedroom window and everything you need has been thought of. Although we didn’t meet Andrea she was extremely responsive with any queries and super friendly. The walk is 30 minutes to the Opera House in Buxton so please take this tip if you’re visiting for a show there - make sure you prebook a taxi/Uber if you don’t fancy the walk home after as it’s impossible to get one! Buxton is a lovely place, lots of places to dine & drink and we’d definitely stay at Andrea’s again next time we visit.

Very pleasant host, willing to help. Some negotiation about our dogs, which was resolved. We particularly liked having our own access door to the annex room. The room had everything required and a very comfy bed.

Jane was an incredible host and so hospitable. The breakfast in the morning was great and so were her suggestions for hikes and local spots. Would definitely love to stay again!

Lovely B&B in peaceful and stunning surroundings. Our room was beautifully decorated, with a very comfy bed and spacious bathroom with great shower. We had the most delicious breakfast and it was nice just to wake up and not go hunting for a place to eat breakfast! My favorite part was sitting on the terrace in the mornings with my coffee or chatting with our hosts! You are nestled away in the country but Bakewell is right nearby to shop and eat. We will definitely return again to this magical place.

This was a base for me as I continued a long distance walk. It provided everything I needed and the host was excellent on communication and nothing was too much trouble. The other residents helped make me feel at home as well which I haven’t experienced before at a property like this. The location of the property was excellent as well just a short pleasant walk to the City Centre. All in all I would highly recommend.

Hanneke and Ian were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. The room was very clean and spacious with a shared kitchen and living room with breakfast provided. Great location in the centre of Dolgellau, a couple minutes walk to the town square and plenty of pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend, if we’re in the area again we will be glad to stay here again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Heather’s place. She goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable. The place was very clean and comfortable with amazing views from our room. On top of everything the breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices and specially her home made biscuits was the cherry on top.

I really enjoyed my stay! Angela was very welcoming and friendly, and had great recommendations for my stay. The place was beautiful and was a good base for some amazing hikes.

We spent a lovely three nights at The Cherry Trees in gorgeous surroundings. It was very relaxed and chilled. The accommodation was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Rachel and Dan were wonderful hosts and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Communication from Rachel was excellent and the 11am check out meant you didn’t feel rushed to be out!

The best hosts! We was welcomed By David & Jo and treated like family. The place is beautiful and very close to everything you need. Great location if you’re wanting to climb Snowden, 1hr to the Llanberis path. Jo makes a stunning sausage and bacon sandwich too :)

Ken and Pam are so lovely and helpful and go out of their way to make the stay as comfortable as possible for you. They are definitely hospitable and the house is clean and tidy. We will definitely stay again x

Jenny was a great host. Thoughtful and responsive. Great location for an easy walk into Hebden Bridge - right next to the canal towpath. Good public transport links too.

Enjoyed our stay even though it was only one night. Very conveniently located in town and is in a lovely peaceful setting. The room was very nice and very comfortable in a nice garden setting. The parking space was good. We had a good evening meal at the Rutland arms just up the road. The fully cooked breakfast was plentiful and tasty and worth the short walk down the road. We would definitely return again. Thank you.

Leanda & Nigel are incredibly gracious hosts, it's clear that their BnB is their joy and passion. They genuinely care about their guests' comfort and enjoyability throughout their stay. The house itself is absolutely stunning, with pristine gardens and incredible views. The area is also very beautiful with lots of walks and wildlife. Leanda is a very talented cook, so the breakfast was really amazing, we felt so lucky to have stayed several nights to enjoy it! The room we stayed in was super comfortable and well-equipped, with everything we might have needed on a rainy day - TV, tea, coffee, biscuits and delicous cakes (though we were lucky with the weather!). It's so quiet and peaceful at night that we had some really restful nights sleep. Leanda & Nigel really have thought of everything in terms of making it a comfortable stay. This was, by far, the best experience we've had on AirBnB for a long time. We'd do it all again in a heartbeat, and would highly recommend it to others!

Tracey was responsive and shared her beautiful home with my son and me. It was only a few minutes from the M6 for a stop over heading North. Easy to find and access, we had separate adjacent double rooms with a well considered range of facilities available. Tracey kindly provided a lovely breakfast choice before we set off again. One of the lovliest AirB&B properties I have stayed in. Highly recommended

Beautifully decorated cottage, which was immaculately clean on arrival. We’d been left groceries including local bread, milk, butter, eggs and a chocolate bunny as it was Easter, which was really thoughtful. The beds were made ready and there were plenty of towels. Lots of thoughtful extras including coffee, a cafetière, toiletries, also laundry and dishwasher tablets were included. The cottage is in a lovely location, just outside the village and surrounded by countryside. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Niall was very friendly and communicated well about check-in.
