Holiday rentals with breakfast in Chester

Really great place for a one night stop off as our family headed back down south from the Lake District. Beautifully decorated and well equipped and the available parking was a God send. The coffee, milk and croissants also appreciated and bathroom having toiletries was also useful! A couple of small things to call out, the small bed wasn’t made up for our toddler with the bedding just left on top which was a shame having mentioned we would need this. Additionally the area by the small bed was pretty dusty - this was not the case for the rest of the property that was pristine. Might also be worth mentioning the small bed isn’t suitable to attach a bed guard too. Overall though a great property and would happily stay again if in the area. Location is brilliant being a short walk in to Chester, with the nearby neighbourhood also having a good selection of shops/coffee shops etc.

We had such a lovely stay. Paula and Simon are perfect hosts. A lovely place to stay, full of character. They are very friendly, I can’t recommend my first ever Airbnb stay enough. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you both.

We had a great stay at Janet's recently. It was easy to find and check in, and all facilities were available in the property. Everything had been thought of. I would highly recommend this AirBnB.

Neil's West Derby house was a joy to spend time in.The little back garden was a nice extra. The house is spacious for a 2 - bedroomed cottage, everything was clean, bright and comfortable. Neil had left us some thoughtful treats and breakfast. Communication with Neil was excellent. We didn't get to meet him, but he is clearly a warm and caring host, very responsive to our queries. West Derby village is charming, full of lovely bars, pubs and restaurants. Neil recommended some of his favourites. Croxteth Country park is a short stroll from Neil's place, and provides great walks ( and a cafe) in the middle of the city. Local buses to the city centre are plentiful and frequent. We left the car at Neil's and took the bus ( 12 and 13 are best) to explore the Pier Head. the river Mersey and the new shopping centre , Liverpool 1. A delightful stay. We would choose Neil's house for our next trip. It's a real gem

Superb Airbnb for our 3 nights away exploring the local area. Accommodation had everything we needed and all the little extra touches made it extra special. I particularly liked the booklet Eirwen had made with recommendations of where to eat, drink and visit in the local vicinity. The cookies, milk, bread, eggs, butter, yogurt etc were also a bonus. Eirwens’ husband Mike also deserves a mention as nothing was too much trouble. He happily helped with where we could clean our bikes and sorted out storage for the bikes as well as giving advice about places to go in the area. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

The house was comfortable and Andy was really responsive and friendly when we had an issue. It's lovely that he provides food for breakfast. The neighbourhood itself isn't great but was convenient enough with a large supermarket, bus links and not too far from the city centre.

Mike’s place was perfectly described and 100% matched what we needed for a weekend away in Manchester. It was well equipped with everything you could need, and spotlessly clean. Mike was always very quick to respond to any communication and ensure everything was ok. The garden was a lovely space in which to sit and relax. Would highly recommend.

Sandra’s place was just what we needed for a few days away exploring Chester. It was clean, peaceful and had all that we needed. Sandra, Gavin and Sox the cat were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We’d definitely recommend this place to friends.

I’ve stayed at this property several times now as I needed to be back near my childhood home. Any issues are always sorted very promptly and it has been literally a home from home for me. Thank you so much. I’ve loved each time I’ve stayed at the Old Red King.

We love to stay here when we come up to Formby. Feels so comfortable, well situated. The extra touches are very welcome. After our long journey, there are always nice things in the fridge for us to eat and drink on our arrival. John is there if you need any help, but it’s very much your private apartment while you are there. We now regard it as our ‘home’ in Formby.

Great place! It was close to the city centre and train station. It was perfect for what we needed. The instructions to get into the building and where we could park were very clear. I would definitely book again if I come back to Manchester. We couldn’t fault a thing. Thank you ☺️

If I could give 10 stars, I would! I stayed with my dad for 2 nights for a concert at Anfield Stadium. The location was perfect - a bus stop around the corner, Anfield Stadium up the road, and a pub and chip shop next door! The flat felt like a home away from home, it was very cosy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the cafe breakfast, and the staff in the cafe were very friendly and accommodating. Helena was always very helpful and lovely to talk to. We could not have asked for a better host!! I'll definitely be staying here again when I visit again and would recommend it to anyone! Thank you Helena!

We had the pleasure of staying at John and Dorothy’s wonderful home and were warmly welcomed upon arrival. We were shown to a spacious and beautifully presented room with our own private bathroom, along with access to a comfortable and well-kept reception room. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable—we had a fantastic night’s sleep. The following morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast featuring fresh strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries, accompanied by yogurt, a generous selection of granola and cereals, as well as toast and a variety of jams. It was a lovely and thoughtful touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. John was a friendly, attentive, and gracious host throughout. Beautiful views and wonderful conversion and our first Welch breakfast. We wish we could have stayed longer. The large house was so interesting with all the little period antiques and attention to detail. They also have a beautiful while horse that adds to the view! It was an overall wonderful time and we might be back if we are in the area again.

Ruby is a very helpful host, lots of friendly communication before arrival and during my stay. The location is excellent for visiting the Christie hospital where my husband was having treatment, literally over the road! There is a small Sainsbury's just down the road towards Wythenshawe and other supermarkets within a 20 minute walk in Didsbury. Having off road parking was another big bonus as on road parking can be time limited. The bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed for my stay, including snacks, breakfast cereal, tea and coffee. If I need to stay in this area in the future I will definitely try to book here again!

Debbie was awesome, cats also dope and house gorgeous. So clean you could eat of the floor, annnnddddd location epic also!!!

Great place to stay, the whole place is pretty clean, had a very homey vibe, and jack includes a lot of amenities that other places don’t even bother giving. Honestly an amazing place to stay, which the common area on the middle floor it gave almost like a high quality college dorm vibe. 100% would recommend. The only thing to mention is that during the summer the nights can get a little warm due to the lack of AC, but that is not the hosts fault as ACs are not the most common thing in the UK where usually the weather doesn’t get to warm. If I’m every coming back to Manchester, will definitely have this place in mind!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Heather’s place. She goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable. The place was very clean and comfortable with amazing views from our room. On top of everything the breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices and specially her home made biscuits was the cherry on top.

We had a great stay. Amazing location right in the city centre. Mark was very helpful and friendly. The parking was so useful. We loved having the terrace to sit out on.
