Private parking is not available on the premises however parking areas nearby can be recommended.

Shepherd hut -secluded riverside location

Our isolated shepherd’s hut is a cosy place with a large spacious shower and a comfortable king size bed. Recently fitted yet with some antique features. It has a private river view with its own private picnic table on the river too. There is a large garden area and private mooring. A porch area at the front and a cosy kitchen area to relax with a glass of wine or cup of coffee...we provide toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave and there’s a fire pit on request and a local Tesco very close by.

You will enjoy a full kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. 2 bicycles included in the price (to borrow). We will provide towels and basic cooking essentials. The house is based in a very quiet area but still with easy access to the centre of town and to science Park. Cambridge North railway station is less than a mile away. We always clean properly however the property has old wooden floors which may look a bit shabby. The annexe was built in the 90s.

Ishbel and Paul are very friendly and welcoming. They provide some basic but nice food for breakfast. You mainly share the space with another room and each room has its own bathroom assigned (not en-suite). Everything was clean and tidy. The room was clean too and the bed comfy. I am happy to have found this place. I am coming back again and I fully recommend it!

I had a very lovely stay in Colleen’s place. Her house is very centric, easy to walk to everywhere. The room is equipped with everything you might need and I must say the bed was very comfortable. Same goes for the bathroom and kitchen. They both were spotless, very clean. She also kindly kept my suitcase until my train time which I really appreciated it. Very recommended !

Very friendly and cosy house in quiet side stree, with off road parking in front of house, but just off main road into town and to motorways. Douglas and Lilly very accommodating showed us where all kitchen items were and what was available to us. Room was basic but clean comfortable and warm matress was very comfy. Good clean bathroom with great shower. Made us feel very welcome. Chatted without being intrusive and made great fuss of our little dog. Will definitely stay again. Many thanks😊

We had a fantastic stay at Laura’s and Massimo's place! Laura and Massimo were an incredibly welcoming and thoughtful host, providing us with everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring Cambridge, and it was also conveniently close to parks. We highly recommend staying at Laura’s if you are visiting Cambridge—she truly made us feel at home, and we would love to come back!

Jeeva and Dom were responsive, friendly and helpful for my stay. The amenities were all clean and working well, although the room was a little cold for me. Great central location in Cambridge. Would recommend!
