This is a private container house on the shore of Lake Gyokudō, a beautiful lake in Suefuno, Chichibu. We connected a 20 ft container and a 12 ft container with an outdoor living room. Limited to one group, so you can enjoy with peace of mind. We reuse containers that were actually used at sea, so you can feel the authentic taste and romance. The site is 250 tsubo, so it's okay to bring a tent. Barbecues and fires are allowed on the premises. You can enjoy a barbecue over a direct fire. We have a rental plan that can accommodate up to 11 people for the entire inn. This is a private lodging facility that the owner renovated himself by hand, with a 50-80 year old traditional house. In recent years, the hostel has been popular as a filming spot, and is located on the front approach to Chichibu Shrine (Banba Street), which is dotted with Showa-era retro buildings. The nearest station, Miyahata station, and Chichibu Shrine are both within a 3-minute walk. On the first floor, there is also the official tap bar for Chichibu barley beer, and Mahoro Bar, which offers a variety of regional craft beers and snacks such as homemade Musashibuta sausages, and Kuchina Salve, a famous restaurant serving Italian cuisine made with local Chichibu ingredients. The chef grows vegetables, harvests wheat, and takes care of chickens, all with a commitment to organic. The accommodation "Shitamura no Hanare" is located just over an hour's drive from the city, surrounded by the tranquil scenery of a nature-rich rural area.We named "Shimomura no Hanare" after our family's business name. The accommodation can be separated from a compact but private space, and you can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons from the garden room.In this area, cars were not yet popular in the early Showa period, and mainly horses, cows, goats, chickens, etc. were raised and lived in horse shops.There is a renovated horse house on our property, making it a quaint space.The horse house is also a private space for guests.Children are welcome, up to one small dog is ok.
