TAZAWA BOAA inn is a private rental guest house located at the foot of Mt. Jokansan, where paragliders fly, and at the hidden hot spring "Tazawa Onsen", which was opened in the Asuka period. We have put a lot of effort into making sure that you can enjoy a relaxing stay in a quiet environment with plenty of nostalgia, along with the large red pine trees that are over 100 years old. The public bath "Yunyu" is a 1-minute walk away and has excellent spring quality! Please try it first. There is a bar counter in the living room in front of the first floor. There is also a sturdy Brazilian hammock in each room. There is also an American retro piano, a gut guitar, and a special audio system. Enjoy music to your heart's content during your stay. The courtyard is designated as a fruit orchard, and we are experimenting with growing fruits that grow even in the cool Shinshu. The detached house has a rare "Brazilian Northeast Folk Print Gallery", and you can enjoy discovering the mysterious similarities with Aoki Village. The host is a huge hot spring enthusiast. The area between Matsumoto City and Ueda City is truly the hot spring Ginza. I can recommend some, so please ask! For the past few years, I have been farming the fields organically. Along with research on fermented foods such as homemade soy sauce and miso, we continue to deepen our knowledge of food at our main organic cafe.

A house in Bessho Onsen town, Shinshu Ueda, was renovated in 2021 and opened as an accommodation. The entire house can accommodate up to 9 people. The price is set at 35,000 yen for up to 5 people, with an additional 3,000 yen per additional person. Limited to one group per day, the entire house is a private space, so you can relax and unwind without worrying about small children. In addition, WiFi is available, and the 2 rooms on the 2nd floor are equipped with a desk, mini fridge, and electric kettle, making it ideal for workcation while traveling. There are 4 outdoor baths within walking distance, as well as many shrines and Buddhist temples, including Kitanosu Kannon, which are National Treasures and Important Cultural Properties. A short walk away, you can visit Shinano-no-Kamakura, a nationally certified Japanese Heritage site, and the shrine of the Nokura couple, Dosojin. The kitchen is also fully stocked, so you can cook for yourself. Feel free to use the fridge, rice cooker, microwave, IH heater, electric kettle, etc. There is a supermarket (Tsuruya) and a convenience store about 10 minutes away by car. There are 2 free parking lots, so you can come by car with peace of mind. If you are coming by train, it is an 8-minute walk from Bessho Onsen Station.

Santa House is a cottage available for rental. The pillars and ceilings are curved, a characteristic of Canadian houses, creating a beautiful arch. The room rate is for 1 to 8 people. From 9 people onwards, an additional 2,000 yen will be charged per person. The maximum occupancy is 12 people. Heating fees are required from November to March and will be added to the rate (approximately a 10% increase). The entire cottage is available for exclusive use. Please check the calendar for rates.

It has a mini-kitchen and a drum-type washing machine, which are convenient for a consecutive stay. It looks an ordinary old farmer’s house in Japanese countryside but has a dynamic beams inside. It’s not a luxury type of house but you can see the original appearance of the old house. Experience the relaxing life of the farm village.
