Thoroughly enjoyable stay, kids loved the swimming pool. Facilities fantastic and an extremely comfortable stay for all.

We spent 6 days at Rob’s place with our 3 children. The weather was not our friend but the onsite swimming pool meant we still had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. The cottage had plenty of room for us all & the spa facilities were fantastic. Great location as well, we had a lovely morning wandering around Cirencester. Rob was super helpful. We used 2 of the recommended places to eat & both were fantastic options. Lovely stay!

Booked for a 50th birthday celebration and reunion. A great time was had by all! Lois was around to meet and greet and the items provided for breakfast was an unexpected but very welcome surprise! Thanks for a great stay Lois!

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

The Barn is situated in a peaceful location with superb views of surrounding countryside and host’s kitchen garden. Extremely well equipped decorated and furnished to a high standard. I can’t imagine anyone not able to enjoy their stay here.

Lovely, homely cottage. We felt right at home and had a cup of tea in the sun on the outside table in chairs in an inner courtyard. There were lots of extras like eggs, homemade bread , butter and milk which was really handy. There were lots cottage was clean and we had everything we needed for 4 days. Would highly recommend for a quiet stay in the Cotswolds.

This was the perfect location for my work meeting - Jon and his family were lovely and Louie the dog was so friendly. Easy to get to and convenient for motorway connections. Would have no hesitation in recommending Jon's place and if i am back in the area will definitely book again. Cat

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is spotless, super comfortable, and felt like a real home away from home. It was perfect for our little one, there were so many toys to play with, books and even a barn outside which was a huge hit. The surrounding nature is stunning and so peaceful, we enjoyed every moment. The hosts were genuinely kind and helpful, we felt very welcome. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Mark was an excellent host. He was proactive in regard to accessing the property and asked well ahead of time about our preferences in relation to food items he provided. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils and provisions ( one of the best 'welcome packs' we have had - milk, wine, grapes, bread, cheese, tomatoes, jam ). And lovely to have an induction cooktop. There was an ample supply of maps, brochures and books about the local area and the wider Cotswolds. The dining table looked out over a lovely back garden. A comfortable bed in a good sized bedroom. All in all a very comfortable stay and a great host. The home is in the 'suburbs' of Winchcombe making it easy to access with a car from all directions and it is only a 10-15 minute walk into town. But it is in a modern estate, not classic old Cotswolds stone if that is important.

wow wow...what a wonderful place. we were welcomed by Sara who was full of local information and Flo the cocker spaniel who greeted us like we were old friends. John filled in the gaps with the history of the house and surrounding landscape. we were very lucky with the weather and were able to fully appreciate swimming in the river and sitting out enjoying watching mo the lawnmower weaving across the immaculate garden. We enjoyed walks from the door and visiting Stonehenge and Salisbury via the local bus service. we couldn't have asked for a better holiday than this. it was truly amazing and we felt totally chilled by the end of it. Thank you Sara and John for making us feel so welcome and sharing your home and garden with us. We cannot fault anything and will most definately be back.

Had a wonderful stay. Very spacious. Private. Felt right at home. Lovely massive bed in the main bedroom pillows and duvet also comfortable. Didn't use the 2 single beds but also a lovely room. The cottage just felt like it had a lovely atmosphere. You can leave the door open and windows without feeling like you have to have the door shut. Did Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole and Weston-super-Mare. Went to the Langford Inn and the Railway Inn plus in Cheddar had a lovely Indian at Rasoi and Milkshakes at Lion Rock Tea room. Jodie and Angus were helpful and friendly :-) Next time will definitely use the hot tub!

Cuckoo Nest will not dissapoint. The accommodation is set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings, and within easy reach of Lacock. The Cottage is stunning, so well thought out with everything you could possibly need and all at a very high standard. 2 night's just wasn't long enough, we felt so comfortable and 'at home' I would highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed at the Annexe in June with our dog, to have a few days away for our wedding anniversary. The main place we wanted to visit was Bath and some of the Cotswold villages close by such as Corsham and it's wandering peacocks, Lacock with it's Abbey and Castle Coombe which is beautiful. The accommodation was a perfect base with Bath only about 30 mins away , great for the two of us with plenty of space along with the dog. Everywhere was very clean , and equipped with all you needed in the kitchen, with cleaning items such as washing up liquid and scourers, d/wash tabs etcetera. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom and host also kindly left dog bowls and treats too. Tea, coffee and water in fridge. The pub in walking distance was great and also found others not too far away, we liked the Salutation Inn. Daren informed us of a couple of walks we could do from the annexe too. We would recommend for a nice relaxing stay and some sight seeing in a lovely property.

The cottage was in beautiful little village and about 25 minutes driving distance to Bath town centre. It is a beautiful cottage with a beautiful log burner inside and all the amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend visit and will go there again

Great stay, John brought an extra fan for us due to it being rather a warm day! Easy to access the house and comfortable beds. Fab shower. Lovely garden area to relax in. Thank you. Will stay again

We enjoyed our stay at Christine's. The house was great and suited our needs, being only a 15 minute fairly level walk into the centre, where we spent most of our time attending the folk festival. Christine was very friendly and prompt in replying to messages.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely area. Easy to get to Bath and Bristol. Would definitely stay again as so peaceful, awoke to the birds singing every morning.

Beautiful location with views and lovely garden with wild flowers, accomodation spacious, super clean and has everything you need, with thoughtful extras like fresh flowers, local honey, charming hosts, there's nothing they haven't thought of. Friendly dogs too!
