Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Chiswick, Greater London

Joanna's home is in a great location and she was a wonderful host. The property was exactly as shown in the photos and is relatively large by London standards - this is one of the benefits of being a bit further out the city center. Proximity to Richmond Park is a huge plus, particularly if you have a runner or cyclist in your family. Do note the travel time into central London is approximately 45-60 minutes, unless you happen to exactly time walking/bus/train schedules. On the plus side, you're a very short hop to Kew and other areas west of downtown, and a short Uber or Bolt ride to Heathrow. A couple of other HUGE positives - of the four rentals I've had in London, this was by far the quietest and most relaxed location. Restaurants/markets/etc. are all close by and accessible by bus if you're carrying groceries.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this beautiful home! The house is on a pretty street in the quiet, leafy area of Barnes. It's an easy & quick to walk to the overground station and to all the lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. The garden is pretty and a great retreat for a wine or breakfast & feels quite private - a rarity in London. The house has been refurbished & designed beautifully, it's a treat to return to after a day out in London. Sarah has thought of everything you may need & can even organise a parking permit if you have a car - we got a space right outside each day. If you're thinking about a stay around SW London I'd choose this one. We look forward to staying again.

Claire is a wonderful host. As soon as she greeted me I felt comfortable. She welcomed me with a cup of tea and a chat at her kitchen table. There was no awkwardness. She provided me with cutlery and crockery for my food and refused to let me wash up. Alongside being great company, Claire also recognised that I was tired from working and gave me space. The top floor en-suite bedroom is newly refurbished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I had two excellent nights sleep in a cosy double bed. In the morning, Claire offered tea, coffee and breakfast and checked the times of my buses for me. She was truly an excellent host and I would thoroughly recommend.

Very cozy and comfortable home with an amazing yard, close to restaurants, public transportation, and green spaces. Hosts are wonderful as well. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We used the cottage as a base for visiting Kew Gardens, a five minute walk. And going to Twickenham where there is a bus stop two minutes away with a direct bus regularly. Your spoilt for choice of great places to eat within walking distance. We absolutely love this place!

The mattress and bed pillows are very comfortable—the best we’ve had in our Airbnb experience. Walkable to Ealing Broadway for every kind of shopping, and only one block to North Ealing station. We would definitely stay here again. Hosts are quick to respond and very helpful.

Lovely, stylish, clean & tidy property. Which had everything we needed plus more. We all felt very comfortable and at home and Holly was helpful all the way through and even left her Christmas tree up for us ❤️ It’s in a great location too, only a short walk to the strand on the green.

A beautiful flat in a charming neighborhood. We will stay in Chiswick again. The beds were comfortable and it’s clear our hosts had an artistic eye for home decor. So many charming things to see! For better (interesting objects and books) and worse (you feel you’re living in someone else’s space), this little rowhouse is a family’s home. Be prepared for lots of photos and mementos. If you like that (we did), it’s the place for you. I can’t say enough good about the neighborhood. Chiswick is full of cozy breakfast spots and excellent restaurants. The walk to the tube is delightful — and you feel like a Londoner thanks to the varied mix of people there. We loved our stay.

We loved our time at Phil's apartment and our highlight was having a beer on the terrace after a day of exploring Kew Gardens 😁 It was as described, very comfortable and had everything you may need to cook a full meal. The bed was very comfortable and the linen good quality. We booked the apartment for it's proximity to Kew Gardens but it's well served by bus and the Elizabeth line into central London. Philip's communication before, during and after our stay was excellent and found him very friendly with an excellent sense of humour. We would definitely stay here again 😁

Good base for exploring West London - handy for the tube at Turnham Green or Gunnersbury, equally for the overground. Quiet flat. Would suit a couple looking to explore.

Diana's home in Kew Gardens is very comfortable and spacious, with a homely feel. Easy transport into London Central, but with the benefit of a green and family oriented neighborhood. As keen walkers runners, we loved the proximity to the Thames path and the wonderful Richmond Park, in addition to Kew Gardens. Thank you!

A very cosy flat, nice area. Lovely surroundings . Flat is just as described and shown in photos, very nice modern and clean. We absolutely loved Helena's home. It was so cosy and welcoming with fresh cut flowers and a bottle of wine waiting for us. It was very comfortable and super clean. We loved every minute we were there. We were able to walk to Hammersmith and Chiswick where there are loads of fabulous shops and cafes or an easy walk to the tube and Thames pubs. Helena was so accommodating, generous, with very responsive communication. It was the perfect way to end our 4 week stay in the UK.

Your quick response from the beginning of the reservation, the great information you gave before the accommodation, and the extremely relevant approach to any need or help during our trip, which started with the accommodation, were very important. The apartment we stayed in was very tastefully furnished, all needs were considered, and even small special needs sets that you might forget were prepared... We have provided access to the apartment by 3 separate metro lines. 3 stops, walking distance to the house is around 15 minutes. The distances did not seem long as we walked through the quite pleasant streets. Streets, straight trees, wonderful houses, constant desire to take photos... We had a very pleasant 5-night stay. Internet TV, Netflix, what else... Beautiful Environment Good Energy Pleasant wine, beer, coffee breaks from the back balcony... We leave London with beautiful memories of Grace. Lovely private flat in Sheen , a short walk to Richmond shops and restaurants . Nice pub along the road that we enjoyed . Secluded and private development, felt safe . Parking was really handy and easy . Lots of planes and air traffic but the flat itself was very nicely decorated and ideal for easy access to Richmond and the surrounding areas

We loved the place! It’s exactly like on the pictures and better. Comfy beds, great kitchen and living room. Good connection to all London sights and boroughs. Highly recommend!

A lovely flat, very comfortable, clean, and peaceful. Rebecca was friendly, helpful and very responsive. I loved how the light streamed through the flat on a sunny day, the personal artworks and the sweet little balcony for morning coffee. The listing does not disappoint and we had everything we needed. Also, Rebecca’s local recommendations are all spot on.

Lovely apartment in great location. Only two minutes walk to the Thames towpath which takes you to Kew Gardens and Kew Bridge one way and Barnes Bridge the other. Very peaceful surroundings although it is sometimes on the Heathrow flight path but has secondary glazing. Easy access to Central London via Kew Gardens station or fast train from Richmond to Waterloo. All the amenities you require and Maryclare is a friendly and informative host.

This place was exactly what we needed. It actually has its own gate into trails that lead into Richmond park. Has a beautiful garden. It was peaceful and quiet. Peter and his lovely wife were very responsive to any of our questions and needs. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Mandy’s place. It was very clean, spacious enough for two adults and a child, and the kitchen was amazing—well-equipped and easy to use. Mandy herself was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Definitely worth the price. One minor note: there was a child next door who cried occasionally at night, but that’s obviously out of Mandy’s control and didn’t take away from how nice the place was. Overall, 10/10—highly recommended!

This was the second time we are staying at Lola's apartment! We had an amazing 2-day stay at Lola's apartment! The place was spotless, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect, with easy access to everything I needed. What truly made the stay special was Lola's kindness and hospitality. She went out of her way to help in many ways. Her quick responses and attention to detail made everything seamless. I couldn't have asked for a better host. I highly recommend staying at Lola's place and would definitely come back again. Our stay at this flat was everything I thought it would be, quiet, airy, bright and spacious. Cooking and socializing together in the main room was such a pleasure. Easy walk to Stamford park station and a bus just around the corner. Would stay here again in a heart beat.
