One of the best views on the south coast. A blissful holiday destination for beach lovers, foodies, walkers, surfers or if you just love curling up on the couch. Take in the panoramic views from the Coorong to the Bluff which is perfect for whale watching. Southern Right whales are often seen breaching the waters of the bay, June to September. Chiton is named after the small mollusc that inhabits Chiton rocks (short walk in a westerly direction along the beach), and can be seen all year round.

On arrival you can relax on the large decking which has sea views, while drinking a glass of wine or a coffee. A home which is newly furnished with unlimited WIFI for your convenience, & open plan living. Plenty of room in the backyard for the kids to play around in and car park space Just a hop, skip & jump to the local beach. Coles and Aldi are just up the road, and the town of Victor is only a 5 min drive, to local cafes and restaurants . Middleton is a 10 min drive as is Horseshoe Bay.

Great house to host a large family holiday, beautiful view from the upstairs balcony. Lots of fun board games for wet weather entertainment and a short walk to the beach. Super handy to Victor Harbour and Port Elliott. Cath was super lovely and communicative, very flexible around check in and check out. We would definitely book to stay here again.

Chiton Cottage - Mid Century Getaway - Pets

We had a very restful Holiday at Ruth and Davids place. The home is beautifully set on an enormous treed block of land a literal stones throw from Chiton Rocks and Boomer Beach. Everything you could possibly think of was provided and we couldn't have been more comfortable. Our little pup, Benji had the time of his life chasing the waves on Boomer beach and the walks to Port Elliot and Victor Harbour were outstanding. We highly recommend Ruth and David's place to anyone intending to visit the area and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

stayed with my parents. and we all agreed that it was a great place to stay. comfortable beds, plenty of room. very clean. great kitchen ( although we didn't cook). fantastic view of the sea from the balcony and lounge. shops are close enough to walk to. and a couple were very close ( fish & chips and a coffee shop). would not hesitate to stay again.

We had a great week. Our kids had a lot of fun with other families in the street. All riding their bikes and scooters together. Neighbours were friendly and helpful. Great location, extremely close to the beach, but sheltered from the winds. Would love to stay here again
