Holiday rentals with a patio in Church Stretton

The flat was very comfortable and gave us exactly what we needed. We were especially happy about the big, well equipped kitchen, as we often eat in.

Had a great stay in Donna's apartment in the Old Vicarage. Lovely peaceful surroundings and very secure and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. Inside, the apartment had everything you needed together with ample supplies of tea/coffee/milk. Walking distance to amenities or a couple of minutes in the car. All as described by the hosts.

Lovely place close to village. very private accommodation and Diana very responsive when messaged. Accommodation had everything you need really peaceful and restful weekend. Would come again and thank you 😉

We need a place to stay for a wedding locally and so pleased we found this space. The accommodation is next to the owners property and next to the river. The accommodation was very well decorated and a lovely space to relax. We both slept well and it was lovely to hear the birds and the river. The owners were thoughtful and looked after us and provided us with fans when we stayed on a particularly warm weekend. The owner has created a tasteful and beautiful space - would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved my stay I stayed for 1 night absolutely lovely apartment as described.Perfect for anyone who’s visiting the safari park as only 5 minutes away.Will definitely be back soon!

two words absolutely stunning. beautiful home and location, so peaceful, the home had everything we needed for our stay. we would definatly recommend to anyone that's wants to get away. Hosts Mandy and Simon were very accommodating, the only negative we had was that we had to leave, the cows to look at over the field were a lovely addition. We had a wonderful stay at Jacky’s apartment “The Chauffeur’s Loft.” Jacky was friendly, making sure we had all the information we might need and our check in was smooth. When we arrived Jacky had provided a very generous welcome hamper full of essentials and delicious goodies which was much appreciated and very kind. The apartment itself was clean and bright. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the basic equipment needed. The views over the valley from the apartment were beautiful. Our little dog enjoyed the garden when she wasn’t exhausted after all the fabulous walks straight from the doorstep. The various routes to Ironbridge were all lovely and the town itself has lots of lovely little independent shops. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend staying in Jacky’s apartment. Thank you!

We had a lovely few days of peace & quiet at Camilla & Henry’s. Waking up to the birds singing and the fresh Herefordshire countryside air was just what we needed. Everything was perfect. It was easy to find with clear instructions. The facilities were great. And the homemade ginger biscuits & apple juice were a real highlight. We would definitely recommend, and hope to be back soon!

We have just got home after a delightful weekend stay at the Granary hosted by Clare & Alex. We were in the area for the 'Springtime in Shropshire' orienteering weekend so arrived at the Granary after the first race in the evening. The directions were good and specific and we were able to get the keys out of the key safe and get straight in. The house was lovely, nicer than the pictures and equipped with everything we needed. Immaculate bathroom and lots of piping hot water. Although the weather was a little blustery we even got to sit outside for a little while on Sunday afternoon after the race before we went inside to cook dinner and relax in front of the TV. Overall, a lovely place to stay, we had a great weekend. Many thanks.

Had an amazing weekend away here, was lovely and clean and was even better than what we expected! The host was so friendly and welcoming and responded to messages straight away. This is a little gem and close to the centre of Shrewsbury. The Garden is an absolute plus! The cottage is pristine and very comfortable. Wendy welcomed us and made us feel very at home.

It was a great place, well located for Shrewsbury town centre with a pleasant walk along the river to get there. I would definately stay here again. Note: finding the property can be tricky when following 'sat nav', and working out how to reverse a car into the off-road drive required a bit of strategic thought, but that all seemed to add to the experience! Lovely cottage. All clean and modern . Lovely garden. Very private and quiet. Query was dealt with within a few minutes. The house is on 3 levels with one bedroom.on lower floor so bare this in mind if anyone has moblity issues. Toilet on lower floor. Shower on top floor

We only have one complaint ….. we wish we could have stayed longer!!! Fantastic place which is extremely well equipped. Ana, Ed and family were really welcoming, friendly and available for advice without being intrusive. Great place would recommend for a quiet get away and base to explore the area. Great walking from the doorstep. We hope to return👍

Amazing hosts, went above and beyond to make our stay very special. Our stay was for our wedding and Georgina made us feel very looked after, spoilt and offered extras above what we could have imagined! I would recommend this to anyone that wants a home from home, with all the personal touches you could want. Pretty garden with plenty of seating, kitchen/diner with everything needed, 2 lounges for relaxing in, beds were very comfy and lovely bedding, and the bathroom is perfect with a lovely deep bath. Thank you for making our stay so brilliant!

Lovely apartment just outside the town centre with everything to see and do in close proximity. The apartment was clean and modern. The sofa and the bed were comfy and the bathroom was lovely. There was a table and chairs outside to sit and enjoy few drinks in the sun although it wasn’t warm enough for us to do so. I would recommend this to family and friends if they venture to Shrewsbury.

We only needed to stay one night here, but would have been very happy to stay longer! Nicky was very proactive in getting in touch, and the instructions were super easy to follow. The apartment was great and had everything we needed, as well as being a short drive from lots of places. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The apartment was clean, warm and comfy with all you need for a relaxing break. We felt at home straight away and the peaceful location and comfy bed meant that we had a great nights sleep. The view from the terrace was amazing with lovely evening sun and beautiful sunsets. Justine contacted us before arriving and during our stay, was really friendly and very understanding of our barking dog! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and we hope to return in the future. Thank you Justine and hubby.

I only stayed one night as I was passing through the area. Comfortable and well equipped, if a little dark after the bright sunshine outside, and I was glad of the cooling fan. Comfortable bed so a good night's sleep. The nearby viaduct is well worth a stroll to visit. The milk, Welsh Cakes and bottled water was much appreciated as were the clear instructions and good communication. Thank you

What a find! Absolutely quiet with the most beautiful view ever. We really liked the flat. The kitchen in particular is very spacious and has everything you need for cooking. A car is essential to explore the beautiful area with its many small villages, manor houses, castles and gardens etc. There are also many good pubs and restaurants. There are shopping facilities in Knighton. The Radnorshire Arms in Beguildy is our favourite of the many good pubs in the area. The food is simply superb. Ann is a very friendly and caring hostess. Lots of good information material rounds off the all-round carefree package. We loved our stay.

Another return stay at Rosemary s and as always exceptionally clean, everything you need in this little gem of a place in Llangollen, in the center, perfect to explore the local area, rosemary s very accessable if needed. Will back soon rosemary thanks again.

Pamela and Paul are lovely hosts and the space they’ve created is such a lovely place to go and relax. My friend and I both said how at home we felt from the second we walked in til we left. It’s very private and peaceful and there’s lovely little parts of it you can walk to and just sit quietly. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully not to far in the future!

The place was very nice . You will do better with a smaller car for having to back up all the way through the alley can be tough. Our car was bigger. Stairs to get up to the door to enter ( but a nice landing/patio) wonderful inside full washer and dryer( no detergent bring your own) bring a fan or fans for it was unseasonably hot when there and I bought a fan . He had 2 luggage racks which was wonderful! Centrally located for hiking and shopping.
